IELTS test taker in Qatar

Happy new Year po sa inyo lahat, @ engrllagas & @garfield, my tanong po sana ako, almost ready na ung mga documents ko for submission to EA, pero hindi ko pa po natapos IELTS ko possible po ba na isubmit ko na pra maipareview ko na sa EA or do i need to completed my IELTS before submit,.

Musta ielts exam mu? Mas ok cguro kong complete docs plus ielts result i submit mu total may fast track naman ang EA ngaun. Naka agent kc kmi at ung advise samin pagsubmit lahat completo dapat. Baka c @engrllagas may idea.

hi mga kabayan..my wife is taking the ielts this February 20. in college of North Atlantic. self review lang siya..I hope shell make it. she is taking 573 visa..student

@rWindEy07 nkpgsubmit ako ng EA kahit wala pa results.. need lang ng EA ng reference number then if pag may result ka na pwede iupdate mo records sa EA..

@garfield, didn't go well po, kaya ttry ako ulit ds coming Exam, sana makuha na. sobra kinabahan ako kc, hindi na nga ako umiinom ng kape eh..lol

makukuha mo din yan. c husband nga mag take pa uli by march aiming for band 7, dahil slim ang chance ng 55 pointer..

@garfield & @engrllagas Hello po, kapag humingi po ba ako ng PC/Police Cert. d2 sa qatar at meron akong existing car loan na binabayaran monthly, di po ba magiging issue un pra di ako makakuha ng PC?preparation lng po sna pra habang maaga alam ko na askyon na gagawin in-case na maging issue..salamat

@jmayanmaven there is a document checklist in the ea msa booklet.. Basically, it wil be your employment evidences, academic qualifications and the career episodes, cpd and summary statement. Just download the booklet para sa guidelines ng mga requirement for the documents and you will be safe

@jmayanmaven, tama cnv ni se29m, isama mo na rn ung IELTS, dhl kasama un sa mga docs na ifoforward mo sa EA.

Additional question for employment evidence, I am currently working with the same company ever since I graduated. The only evidence I have is the joining form which is 2009 pa. Pwede na ba yun or do I need to ask the company to provide one certificate para maprove un employment ko? Ayoko sana ipaalam sa company na I am planning to leave.

@joyceannuy hi! welcome to this thread.. you may enroll at British Council (www.britishcouncil.qa/en/english/book-course).. I did not enroll in any formal IELTS course. Self review lang of past ielts exam (cambridge book series).

@engrllagas Thank you. Iniisip ko din mag self review e. kasi additional cost na naman yun for sure. tapos iba pa ang cost ng exam. pwede mo ba sakin isend ang review materials mo? para makapag umpisa din ako mag review. Weakness ko din kasi ang englisg na ito.

@joyceannuy available po dito sa pinoyau ung reviewers.. may thread po dito about ielts reviewer (http://pinoyau.info/discussion/3418/ietls-reviewer#latest) you may download from the links given on the thread.
Tip: Listening and Reading - ipractice mo lahat ung sa cambridge series 1-9.
Speaking: speak English every time you have a chance (kahit sa bahay lang) it works for me young tips sa ieltsadvantage.com regarding speaking.
Writing: (this is my weakest - di makaalis sa band 6.5 after 2 take) get a lot of practice writing essays and currently my plan now is to get my writing assesses thru IELTS writing correction services available on-line.. Hopefully, ma-identify mistakes ko so I wont make the same mistakes in my attempt for my 3rd test..

wala pa akong cambridge series 1-9. hanapin ko palang sa thread na binigay mo.

hindi pa po ako nakakapag umpisa mag review, kasi nag gagather pa ako ng mga review materials. hehe. Since may mga info na ako., pwede na ako mag start.

ano pala yung nababasa kong general and academic? hindi pa ako maka relate.

kelan mo plan mag exam ulit?

@joyceannuy for migration purpose, IELTS General module is enough.. academic module is normally for aspiring students and other professions. You need to check with your accrediting body (Engineers Australia for me) if what English Test is required by them.

So far, my plan is to gain more confidence in my Writing module before I will book for another exam..
