@jandm talaga general training ang required sa ielts?? nagtake na ko ng ielts before 2013 pa expired na siya last year, kasi diba 2 years lang validity nun, pwede ba yun ipasa dito sa australia?? sa canada kasi hindi eh..

You need to ensure you are able to provide evidence of the level of your English language ability attained at time of invitation. You will need to provide your English language test result as evidence of your English language ability.

@emboon hi, if ACS I think you should start July 2013 (kasi after June 2013) then blank end date then yes to related occupation. Then no need to put in June 2011-2013 kasi these are just considered skill requirement years and not work exp. Ung bilang nila ay ung "after" lang nung skill requirement met date.

@cutemama hi sis, I checked my IELTS result, wala naman nakalagay na expiration date, however, I saw this in their website:
The IELTS system automatically deactivates IELTS result when it reaches its 2nd year. It is not possible to extend the validity of the IELTS results.

So possible when you enter your test report form number upon lodging, baka hindi na nila ma-pullup ang result?

And if ever din we go with the DIBP website na 3 years valid, since magsisimula ka pa lang mag gather ng documents, pa assess at mag antay ng invitation, it might take some time so I guess better if you get a new exam. Anyway since naka take ka na before, the previous experience would help and get you a chance of getting a higher score, konting refresher nalang

General Training ang required for PR, however, pagkakaalam ko accepted din ang Academic kasi of a higher degree naman ito (but not the other way, around if you apply for a study visa dapat academic, di tatanggapin ang general training).

Hello sa inyong lahat! sino po ang nakatanggap ng email from CO asking for Form 80 tapos ang nakalagay sa subject nang email is "finalisation team, my name and yong visa application no. etc" ... Meaning po ba malapit na kaming ma-grant? Sa immiaccount ko po ang status ay "assessment in progress" na.. Syanga pla 485 po yong inapplyan namin.

@Shyluck naku sis, I wouldn't know about PTE, since IELTS po ang kinuha ko, minimum 6 for each band, then 7 up to start getting 10 points, 8 up for 20 points.

@Shyluck DIY application lang po sis.
For IELTS self-study lang nung Cambridge reviewer, then Youtube videos for speaking. I took the exam sa British Council, meron silang library ng madaming reviewers na pwede hiramin and CDs to practice the speaking part. So pwede ka pumunta dun to review and avail of their materials. Pero di mo ito pwede ilabas, although may mga nakita akong nagphotocopy nung reviewers at un ang tinakehome nila. Di ko lang napagana ung xerox machine pati di ko din alam kung san sila kumuha ng paper or bring your own paper ba haha nahiya ako magtanong kasi ang tahimik at lamig. Meron din sila sample answer sheets para masanay ka magshade, then sample sheets din for the essays. Try to practice ilan words you can fit in a line para pagdating sa exam lines nalang bilangin mo para di ka maubusan oras kakabilang ng words.

Tanong po ulet sa form 80. Yung work history ng asawa ko (dependent) kung ilalagay nya ang detail, hihingan pa po ba ng evidence documents. Kasi wala syang mga documents regarding works experince nya. Salamt po sa sasagot

@tiggeroo wow ang great naman at DIY kalang. and self study talaga for IELTS. nice!!! may mga teknik nga daw po kasi. so, dapat talaga full pledge ka kapag nag review and exam no? working po kasi ako. then baka lumipat pa ng company so, mas mahirapan on the status. what do you think po? better na magstay na lang ako on muy current work for awhile? until such time na done na ang IELTS ko? i heard and read kasi here na madami ang nahihirapan sa IELTS. pero ikaw ang galing mo po kasi self study. wow!!!

thank you sa advice, pero parang nakakahiya naman po magphotocopy and bring ng paper. hehehe. saan po ba ang british council here sa manila?

@Shyluck naku sis, walang pambayad ng agent hehe and straightforward naman ang process ng DIBP and of course, andaming handang tumulong dito sa forum!

Pwede mo check ung schedule ng IELTS kasi minsan a month ahead pa ung exam schedule, then aral after work kahit 2 hours a day until your exam. Pasang-awa lang din ako actually sis, kasi ung lowest score ang magiging basis since at least 7 in all bands ang measure to get the 10 points.
Sa ortigas ung office nila, Taipan place along emerald avenue.

Hello and good day everyone! Nais ko lang pong magtanong... nasa CSOL ang Architecture Draftsman ni hubby... pwede ko ba itong iclaim sa EOI para madagdagan points ko? Kulang pa kasi points dahil sa ACS assessment (AQF Associate Degree with a major in computing) ko.

May another option akong tinitignan... ano po kaya kung magpa-assess ako as Software Engineer (nsa CSOL rin ito)? Ang hirap kapag may hinahabol na points...

@nevergiveup kung positive assessment si hubby mo sa occupation nya, yes pwede mo add to claim partner points.
In terms sa ACS assessment, I think more of the school or course kaya malaki deduction mo sa skill requirement date? So baka kahit magchange ka ng occupation, same criteria padin ang pag assess nila sa school, and same basis for deducting x number of years from your work experience. Same occupation group lang ang Software Engineer and Developer Programmer under group 2613XX. Meron ka pa po ba documents na pwede ipasa for school/course assessment na hindi mo naipasa before? Baka pwede ka appeal or review to AQF bachelors.
Or may work exp ka po ba na they assessed as unsuitable? Baka may docs ka na pwede idagdag to make it suitable.
Sorry sis wala ako masyado details ng case mo to be of any help hehe paupdate nalang po ng timeline/signature baka may iba may input din

@tiggeroo, @pausatio : Thank you sa reply nyo! Sa timeline ko iyan pa rin until now... di pa ako nag-eexam sa EILTS... Kailangan ko muna maayos points ko bago mag-EILTS, maka-8 band score man ako baka di pa rin umabot ang points. Pero di ba, nevergive up, kaya hanap pa ng ibang ways... Hehehe! More power guys!
