Ako nirerequire immunization record ng anak ko. May certificate from pedia nya sa pinas tapos pinapunta ako sa council then sa medicare. Sabi ng medicare punta ako ng gp to get the cert and para daw maupdate record mg ACIR. Di ba puede yung cert of immunisation sa pinas ng school?

Honestly I don't know where to find or get the baby book of my kids since it was my late wife knows about it. I will just try to ask the copy of their medical record's on the clinic.

Hi po!

New po ako dito sa forum. Gusto ko lang po malaman, meron po bang mga kids na nagmigrate na hindi pa masyado fluent sa english at madali naman po ba nakapagadjust? Balak ko pa kase kunin ung 6year old kid ko. Lumaki kase sa province sa nanay ko kaya medyo hindi na practice sa english.

Sana po may makapagadvice sa kin. Thank you po

@tere565 my son is 7yr old, di rin fluent sa english magsalita as we converse Tagalog in the house, now he is very ok sa school, he can speak english well na. Mas madali kasi makapag adjust ang mga kids, dont worry. Dami din kasing ibang lahi sa school kaya alam na sguro i handle ng mga teachers. GOD bless.

Check nyo na lang po sa suburb/school na pag enrollan nyo, kasi un school ng anak ko, sarado talaga pag school break.

Good to know. My son is 6 yrs old, and although english ang sinasalita nya, e hindi ganun ka clear magsalita at minsan sobrang bilis. I worry baka ma-shock sya paglipat jan kasi dito sobrang alaga sila sa homeschool.

Ang bilis makapag adjust ng mga bata :-) Kasi may play time talaga dito ang school kaya mas enjoy sila pumasok :-) Then sa english conversation, madali lang din sila matuto kasi di pa siguro matigas ang dila nila hehehe

Hello! Tumatanggap pa rin ba sa AU kahit 3rd term na ng school year papasok? 6 years old yung daughter ko, pag pasok nya grade 1 na sya dapat dyan nung feb. Thanks!

@she16 yup tumatanggap anytime. May kakilala nga me 1 month before end of school year tinanggap pa din. I am talking about public school, not sure about catholic schools. Yung kakilala ko sa catholic 2nd term naman sila nkapasok

@dantz15 Depende sa Catholic School kung kaya pa nilang i-accommodate. In the case of my 5 year old daughter, supposedly puno na sila but a friend helped out kaya tinanggap.

Catholic schools do give priority to catholics, I was told.

Pag catholic school ba meaning private yan? And also sa public school, may catchment area sila na tinatawag? Kung san area ka malapit nakatira dun ka sa malapit na school? Or pwde ka kahit saan?

Yes. Considered as private school (though they receive funding din from the Govt). For public schools, yes, may catchment area nga sila. You should be checking first anu-ano yung schools na malapit sa tinitirhan nyo.

I remember calling a school (about 6km away) na natipuhan ng eldest ko (kasi maganda ang uniform

)) but was told that we should check first yung nearest sa amin (about 1.5km).

@she16 Sa case namin, puno yung catholic school sa catchment area namin so nirefer kami ng school sa next nearest Catholic school. Ready sila na tanggapin kayo basta may available slot at puno ung nsa area nyo.

One more question hehe, kasi sa ngayon nakaka 1 week pa lang si hubby sa au, nauna na kasi sya para makahanap ng tirhan namin, so as of the moment job hunting muna sya pero planning kame sumunod in 3 weeks para makastart na ng school daughter namin. Just incase wala pa mahanap si husband ng work ( wag naman sana haha) Tumatanggap naman sila ng student kahit wala pa work ang parent? Yup. Not an issue.

Nung ni-enrol ko yung eldest ko, may parents kaming nakasabay na wini-withdraw ang anak nila coz malilipat daw ng state yung hubby nya (work). So yes, schools do accept transfer students.
