yung 1st take ko 0.5 ang kulang ko sa speaking. yun lang ang binagsak ko.
yung 2nd take ko naman 2 na yung less than 7 na band score ko.

Gusto ko na rin mag pa EOR (Enquiry of Result) for my 1st Exam kaso I don't know if it is a good option.

Hi Guys mas madali ba ang PTE-Academic? I noticed na yung mga bagsak sa BC e pumapasa sa PTE- A. Please share your thoughts about this. Thank you in advance lalo na sa mga nag GT sa BC.

@pinoytalker sinubukan magpractice ng PTE-A pero nahihirapan ako sa read aloud tsaka describe image... nagdecide ako to practice PTE-A dahil sa mga nabasa ko dito na madali nga raw comparing sa IELTS pero 3weeks na ako nagprapractice di pa rin ako comfortable sa read aloud tsaka describe image.. kaya iniisip ko tuloy na mag IELTS nalang kasi aware na ako sa format.. Sa tingin ko, personal preference kung saan ka hiyang at kung saan ang mas madali para sayo..

@kymme may result na ba PTE-A test mo? ibig ba sabihin nagtake both IELTS and PTE this month.

nag take din ako ng PTE-A last Nov pero nahirapan ako sa speaking like si @dorbsdee. So failed yun.
Last Dec 12 sa IELTS though, I scored 8.0 in speaking and above 7 in all bands. So I guess depende talaga kung saang test format ka mas comfortable. Both require a lot of practice. I suggest for PTE-A that you buy their test kits para ma-experience yung mock test nila.

For IELTS, nakatulong sakin yung book na "Ace the IELTS" by Simone Braverman. Pati format na kelangan sa writing andun na din, how to skim tests sa reading, etc. i can forward sa inyo, pls provide your email address lang.

Isa pa, for speaking and listening, I downloaded mobile apps like IE Speaking, BBC Radio. I also listened to podcasts para ma familiarize sa ibat ibang accent ng english so you can improve your listening skills. My husband and I also had sessions every evening na kunwari sya yung facilitator and we will go through the 3-part speaking test.

@kymme ganun ba? ako din parang naghesitate na ko magparemark. tagal kasi tapos di pa sure. take na lang din ako ulit pero PTE-A naman. mas mabilis pa result. in God's will sana pumasa na. goodluck sa atin!

Yes, you're allowed to write on the questionnaire itself during the Reading part of the test.

Hello po... tanong ko lang po totoo ba na mas madali po sa ibang lugar like baguio ang ielts kesa pag manila nagtake? Or not really madali, mas considerate ung mga nagbibigay ng exam especially sa interview? O wala po talaga sa lugar yun?

Katatapos ko lang mag ielts here in SG BC.. i highly recommend 'Ace the IELTS' plus lots of practice. sana makakuha ng target score ko. God bless sa mga mag eexam.

Sa mga mag rereview ng IELTS, try nyo IELTS Advantage, recommended by ERT. Very effective sya sa writing academic. Nag improve score ko from 6.5 to 7.5 sa writing at from 7 to 9 sa reading. Sumablay lang me sa listening, coz I missed the recording. Anyways, try lang ng try, never give up, dream high....

For improving my vocabulary, I chose English Vocabulary in Use (upper-intermediate), English Collocations in Use

For Grammar, I learnt a lot from this excellent book: English Grammar in Use by Raymond Murphy, Advanced Grammar in Use

For Reading, I polished up my Reading skills by reading articles from Your IELTS Reading Skills by Sam McCarter, practicing IELTS Reading Recent Actual Test Vol 1, 2

@stewart pwede rin kahit google lang. kasi ung mga sample exercises, may pattern siya. dati, ung mindset ko was to answer purely on english rules and skills, pero na-realize ko na na strategy is also as important. at ung pagsagot sandamakmak na sample exams ang nakatulong dito. for reference, band 7 ako first take (hindi nagreview, overconfident lang). tapos, second take ay band 8 (with 9 sa ibang modules).
