Ako since single pako ok lang saken ket san mapapadpad. Especially if you dont like where you are right now which is like my case, ive been living in Singapore for 4 years super sawa nako dito. The place is small no place to go, the food sucks, salary is low. So im looking forward to arrive at the better place I hope so. Best wishes to everyone whos heading to Au. :D :)

    Bago ako lumipad papuntang disyerto noong 2007, inisip ko na kaagad yung pagbalik. Sabi ko sa sarili ko - maximum two years lang ako sa Dubai then uuwi na ako kapag nakaipon na.

    Five years later, hindi ko na makita ang sarili ko na titira ulit sa Manila (no offense sa Manilenyos).

    More than the uncertainty sa bago mong lilipatan, mas natatakot kang iwanan yung lugar na nakasanayan mo. In my case - homesickness, absence of rain, Jollibee withdrawal (LOL). We will adapt eventually.

    ako nga ang mga kakilala ko na naaproved ang visa,halos d mkatulog dahill sa excited.ako when i applied for a visa excited ako ng maaproved nawala ang excitement ko,after 7 months pa ako pumunta dito kasi alam ko na medyo mahirap ang buhay dito especially maghanap ng trabaho.....ng dumating ako ng sydney,,ako lang mag isa umuulan,,basang basa ako at hila hila ko ang maleta ko at nakatunganga sa matataas na building at nag titingin kung may filipino na mkasalubong pero puro insik ang nkasalubong ko..hanggang sa mkarating sa hotel na tinirhan ko ng isang gabi...pag kagabi i almost cry.kasi us dollar ang dala ko..low bat pa celphone ko at iba yung saksakan ng kuryente nila dito....kya npilitan akong bumili ng adaptor pra mkatawag sa bahay..hanggang ngayon may mga pnahon pa rin na hinohomesick ako..kasi may malayo ako sa family ko...sabi nga nila "living in another country is not a bed of roses,perhaps it's a bed of bougavilla.....

    @Metaform what you said is true. Ive been here in sg for 4 years, and whenever I go back to Manila for vacation, I find myself dissapointed. The same place i left still looks the same, no improvement, prices of commodities is almsot the same like here in sg but yer salary is like 3x bigger in sg. Even gas prices is the same here in Sg. Being a small country Singapore is quite asy to manage. But the reason why they are progressive is that government here is not corrupt, the prime minister's salary is like a million dollars a year or maybe a month not sure, govt officials are all overpayed, thats the reason why there would be no need for corruption anymore. Environment here is also safe, you can walk around anywhere at 1 am using yer iphone and have no fears of getting holdapped. Even if you board the bus with yer bag wide open nobody would try to steal anything from it. So comparing it to Pinas, with all the crimes going on, being all the time on guard wherever you are, low salary, it makes you not to want to go back in Pinas once you have experienced working overseas.

    So for me, I just see pinas as a vacation spot nalang, to visit my family and friends there once in awhile. I cant see myself also working there with a low salary nakakapanibago un for sure. Maybe ill go back there to retire when im 60. Another dissapointing thing also is that if your a frequent traveler, you can compare Pinas to other countries. For instance, I went to Bangkok and you can see theres a lot of white tourists everywhere, bcuz their country is safe, nobody robs them. Unlike in pinas when they see white tourists first thing they think is they got money or kidnap them. Thats the reason why theres just a few white people touring pinas bcuz of safety reasons.

    @sheep I mgiht also have a bad experience when I get there on sept 29. Tho im arriving with my friend, shell be staying w me for a week just to accompany me and tour around, I still have no place to stay there. Baka mag backpackers lodge nalang kme pagstay jan $20 lang per day para tipid ket 6 persons kayu sa room. At least $600 lang sha per month hehe

    share ko lang nagwork ako sa call center before 1st job ko nung college pako. I stayed there for 8 months and sa lahat ng nakausap kong lahi, ung australian ung diko maintindihan grabe. Tas recently me frend ako me fiancee na australian nakipagkwentuhan tas in the end isip isip ko wala akong nagets ni 1 bagay sa sinabe nia hahaha! Ang lalim kase ng accent nia. kaya goodluck nalang saken haha! Di lang nosebleed bka brainbleed pako dun haha!

    Pag sa new zealand naman bisaya accent nila ung letter a nila they pronounce as e. they say epol not apple. tas ung letter i said as e. dikolang alam pag sa australia.

    isa pang obvious sa australian accent is wala silang "R" :) halimbawa, Lester ang name.. ang tawag nila dun.. "Hey Lestah!". Ang name naman na Mark.. "Hey Mahhk!" hehehe. tapos lahat ng nag eend sa "Z" nilalagyan nila ng "ed" sa huli. like yung "ANZ", tawag nila "Ey-En-Zed"

    @sheep ah so same den pla ng nz accent, sa sydney ako. im half girl half boy nyahahha joke gerlalush po. my friend would be accoumpanying me for 1 week in sydney vacation lang sha then after im on my own. Wala ko kilala and kamag anak in sydney so i think that would be challenging and fun i guess at the same time. nag apply nako work kaninang umaga sa seek.com me nagreply agad naman saken ambilis.     @aldousnow hi po sa melbourne kapo ba stay now? ask ko lang my friend recently went to aus in melbourne and sydney tas sabe nia mas gusto nia melbourne. Mas easy to get around daw and the weather there is not too cold unlike in sydney. Ung mga nakapunta po sa sydney and melbourne pwede po ba kwento nio kung ano difference nila if ano mas better? Sorry if ot na hehe :)
