@zhaen npansin ko lang bakit wala masyado bus sa canberra? Mahirap ba mag-commute? Last year I visited my cousin so may ngpasyal samin, what if gusto mag settle sa Canberra at wala muna car?

meron naman bus from suburbs to suburbs or interchange to interchange may mga time sila Kaylan darating pero karamihan dito may car talaga. ang may mga designated stop areas sila.

@zhaen is there like a Canberra Business district? where usually nandon yung offices, kind of like Sydney CBD. Anu yung malapit na suburbs dun? Thank you sa info.

@guaenb mostly kasi dito sa Canberra mga public servants. this is the capital city of Australia and mga government offices is scattered every town areas. but our CBD is the main business district for public and private sectors. kong sa mga trades industry naman meron sa fyshwich .. maliit lang ang Canberra pero tahimik and peaceful dito

madali na yan kasi mag take ka nman ng learners exam at pwede ka mag try ng driving lesson kahit 1-2 hours medyo makakabisado mo na. Based on my experience travelling in Canberra mukhang hindi naman complicated yung roads as compared dito sa Melbourne lalo na sa City. Sa Sydney medyo mahirap2 kasi nakakalito yung roads.

Good morning po sa lahat! Bago po ako dto sa Canberra, actually kadarating ko lang po kahapon. Tanong ko lang po kung paano po kung saan po pinakamalapit na pagkukunan ng internet, pati po kung saan murang bilihib ng mga gamit pambahay, like bed, kumot, walis, hangers, basurahan po. Nasa kingston po ako ngaun, tapos wala pa po tlga ako kilala liban po dun sa boss ko na Au at boss dn po na Pinoy..di ko pa po nakaka.usap ung Pinoy ko po na boss po eh, kaya di ko pa po natanong dn..naglakad2 po ako kahapon at nkapunta na sa coles-Manuka..pero ung bilihin po ng gamit pambahay parang wala po maxado dub..meron daw po kasi prang warehouse na nagbebenta pero di ko po alam ung name. Salamat po. Cheers!

@jeka25 Network / or Referral ang no. 1 mahalaga , secondary ang skills (sad but true).
walk in is good but remember if you dont know anyone on that site/area, eh baka maging 'intruder' or outsider ang tingin sayo.

Just be mindful how you approach your 'walk in' strategy, pasimplehan mo lang na kunwari nag iikot ikot ka or something....then make friends make connections...

also there are two path to apply thru agent or thru employer itself, so just make sure you are aware how to talk/communicate between the two of them.

Hello there... madali ba makahanap ng accommodation sa canberra. Ano ba mga required docs and did you pay upfront. Don sa mg 1st timers paano kayo nagrent. May mga nag aaccept ba kahit wala pa work. Hindi ba sila humihingi ng proof of income? Mga ganu katagal makakuha ng accomodation?

Hello @HolaLola siguro mga 1-2 months para may enough time na makahanap ng sariling house to rent. Kase baka mahire si hubs dyan we are currently here in brissy e. Need namin ng quick accomod. Baka sa city proper yata if ever ang office.
