@Captain_A Thanks po sir sa response. SG based din po ako. Paano po kayo nka-create nang ImmiAccount sir pero hindi pa nkapaglodge nang visa? Follow up question sir, san po kayo nagpa certified thru copy nang mga docs? Pag certified tru copy po b ok lng ipaphotocopy ko nang black n white yung orginal docs tapos yun yung ipa certified ko tapos scan tapos upload docs kung maglodge na ako? Pasensya po sir sa dami nang tanong, hehe..

@sammiesam search ko lng sa google ang immiaccount then create account, valid passport lng nmn ang need para makagwa immiaccount. once naka receive kana invite sa skillselect pwede na i-link yun sa immiaccount.

halos lahat ng docs ko colored scanned copies na,yung ibang b&w hindi ko na pina ctc, nabasa ko yung iba dito b&w din ang pinasa at hndi pina-ctc pero tinanggap nmn CO.

based sa mga napagtanungan ko, after mag fingerprinting sa Phil embassy, ipapadala ko sa representative ko yung docs, then my rep will submit personally kay Ms Sandra Sobida sa NBI taft to process, then 1-2 a weeks ang processing.

@tangentph We dont have an agent. We just sorted it out ourselves. We withdrew our visa application which is totally different from visa cancellation. We did not wait for the student grant so there are no complications really. Agent fee varies from $1400 - $3000 depending on your case.

@sammiesam Hi, oo pwede ka ng magmedicals at magpaNBI, mas maigi nga yun para nakaprepare na lahat.

Yung NBI pag nasa abroad ka pupunta ka ng consulate tapos yung ibibigay na paper dadalhin sa NBI Taft. Tapos may ibabalik sayo dadalhin mo uli yun sa consulate kasi magtathumb mark ka at pipirma. May narinig ako na pwede naman through regional tapos ipoforward yun sa NBI TAft then ibabalik sa regional office. It will take a while nga lang.

Tama po ba na Yes ang sagot nito at icontinue ko ang Apply Visa, hind pba ito Lodge Visa ?
Gusto ko sana kasi kumuha kmi nang medical clearance bago maglodge.

@sammiesam Hi, click mo lang po yung YES dadalhin ka nun sa immi account. Di pa po xa yung lodging kasi after you create your immi account there are series of questions that you need to answer (gather your docus so it'll be easier). Make sure to give the same answer as that from the EOI. You can save your answers (just like in EOI application) if you're not ready to lodge your application. Once you've submitted and paid, thats the time na nakalodge ka na.

@sammiesam If colored scanned copy, di na kelangan ipa-CTC. Pag B&W photocopy, kelangan ipa-CTC. Pag softcopy, ok na yan. Derecho upload mo na.

Lahat ng docs ko, colored scanned copy (and some softcopy) kaya hindi na ako nagpa-CTC.

@omeng22 I had the same situation. Unfortunately, NBI won't allow you to do that pero we never had any problem naman. All of my wife's documents were submitted with her maiden name except for the NBI clearance. No questions asked when we processed the visa. All the best.

@sammiesam Kami ang pinass namin coloured scanned copy na may tatak ng Justice of Peace dito sa Au (equivalent nyan ay notary public sa Pinas) para sigurado na pero base naman sa nababasa ko pag coloured na siya no need for it to be certified, pag black and white yun yung kailangang ipacertify o CTC.

Hi guys, I would like to know if I'm qualified for Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189).

I checked my points via this link: https://www.acacia-au.com/skilled-migration-points-test.php and I'm not sure kung tama ba yung mga information na ginamit ko.

So enumerate ko yung info ko with corresponding points, please correct me if I'm wrong.

1. 25 y/o = 30 points
2. IELTS 7.0 = 10 points (Though I haven't taken IELTS, so just in case this will be my passing mark)
3. Bachelor degree (University of San Carlos CEBU) School is listed here: https://www.acacia-au.com/skilled-migration-points-test.php = 15 points
4. Overseas Work Experience (This is what I don't really understand, but I'm currently working for 4 years here in Philippines related to my studies) = 5 points

Total = 60 points. Is this passing already? I'm not really sure with the overseas work experience, but I guess this means that any work outside from Australia right?

So if my calculations are right and updated, I would need to pass IELTS 7.0 in all categories?

Thanks for your inputs. I'm really undecided on which route to take, whether student or this.

@tomangelo What skilled occupation are you planning to apply to? You will need to be assessed by the assessing authority in charge of that occupation. For example, if IT related, Australian Computer Society handles the assessment. They will assess your educational qualification and work experience. Once finalised, you'll know how many points you can claim for both criteria.

@tomangelo it means depending on your degree and work experience, your qualifications may be assessed as diploma(10pts) or degree(15pts), or they may deduct from your work experience to say you are deemed skilled for the chosen nominated occupation. Check ACS page for more info or the thread on this forum..

Ano po ibig sabihin nito?
My nominated occupation kasi in in CSOL. Upon checking anzcosearch, dati south australia (supplemetary) or special conditions apply tapos ACT lang (Closed) ang nakalagay na state. Ngayon meron ng ganito.
In 2015-16 NSW will again deliver 4.000 places for the 190 visa program under a selection-based invitation process. From July 2015, the NSW 190 program has 2 streams:
- Stream 1: Occupations on the NSW 190 Priority Skilled Occupation List (NSW 190 List). The highest ranking candidates in occupations on this list will be invited first.
- Stream 2: Very highly ranking candidates in CSOL occupations. Throughout the 2015-16 financial year NSW will also select and invite a limited number of very highly scoring skilled candidates in occupations from the broader DIBP CSOL.
NSW will not be inviting candidates in the following CSOL occupations: Primary School Teacher (241213), Retail Pharmacist (251513), Architectural Draftsperson (312111), Industrial Pharma

Ibig ba sabihin pag nag EOI ako ng NSW. Pwede ako mainvite under stream 2?

@kisses1417 yup pwede mainvite ng NSW under stream 2. same procedure lang din naman gagawin, magpasa ng EOI selecting NSW as preferred state. ano ba nominated occupation mo? I was invited under stream 2.

@engineer20 @se29m @elleb1 thanks. Last night nag update na ako ng eoi. Nilagay ko na NSW tapos visa 190 diba? Nominated occumapation is Sales Representative (Medical and Pharmaceutical) right now, 70 points ako. Pag nag october na, magiging 75 points kasi mag 8 yrs na ako sa company. Tama po ba?

Yung ganyan points ba masasabi ng mataas? Parang sakto lang? Ano mga points nyo under stream 2? Parang ang common kasi ng occupation ko

pero im still hopeful.

@kisses1417 65+5 lang points ko. sa occupation pa rin kasi unang tumitingin ang nsw for selection then points na. hopefully mainvite ka din at sana wag sila magpalit ng criteria or system sa july. or sana maging open na sa mga states yung occupation mo.
