@john_gil9 Talaga? Ilang mos po kayo nagantay bago nahire? Nagstart din po ba kayo sa mga odd jobs? Ok Lang po yan at least I know what to expect when I get there. maprepare na din sarili ko emotionally, physically mentally and most especially financially lol. Ano ano po mga napagdaanan nyo nung nagaapply palang kayo dyan? Madami naman pong tumatawag for interview? Thanks for your time

Nag kargador muna ako...hehehe...nakipag kilala ako sa lahat ng pinoy...kinilala ko lahat ng mga med tech dito tsaka kinapalan ko mukha ko na mag seek ng help..literally eh pinamudmod ko CV ko.hehe...pero u have to edit ur CV kc dpat naka base CV mo sa requirement or criteria or may basis sila kc pwed i automatic reject ng computer CV mo pag hindi niya makita mga hinahanap nya..hehe..yes po computer usually nagsasala ng mga CV hnd tao.it pays pag makipag meet la sa mga pinoy..malaki maitutulong nila...marami na rin ako interview pero hnd pinalad...na interview pa ako sa prince of wales at royal alexandra hospi pero hnd pinalad

You have to review sa mga interviews...magtatanong sila about sa principles, SOPs. Normal values tas QC etc..

@john_gil9 i agree with u. Ako nga nagresign na sa work lab assistant part time ksi may hiring as permanent full time as data entry& specimen reception so grab ko un muna habang wla pa stable job si hubby. For now enjoy ko muna ang no stress na work hehe. Same lng naman ang pay hehe.. once may hiring as lab tech/lab assistant d2 sa lab na permanent full time, ska ako apply.

And nung naassess aq as labtech ng aims nklgay sa work experience q was more than 7yrs of experience, bkt nung nkpsa naq as scientist nklgay na dun more than 3 yrs dw experience q ? May experience ba kau na gnito share nman , nkkdiscourage ung agency q aftr q mtuwa na pasado ssbhin hnd dw aq pwd.. Dhl hnd q dw mit ung 60pts? More than 8 yrs na experience q as medtech l.. Sna po may sumagot.

@mauriceserrano hello. congrats on the positive assessment from your assessing authority.. okay let me start by saying na in able for you to lodge an eoi, you must meet the minimum 60 points required by skillselect based on the following factors
age: maximum 30 points if you are within the 25-32 yrs old bracket
english: for ielts, you must have a band score of 7 for all components to qualify for the 10 point mark. pag may isa mababa sa 7, you cannot claim for points
skills assessment: degree = 15 points, diploma = 10 points.. as for your work experience, the assessing authority always reserves the right to deduct work experiences from you claim to determine when you are actually skilled. so if assessing authority deducted 5 years, meaning after the 5th year lang magstart ang skilled employment mo.. so you can only claim 5 points for your work experience..

Yung sa assessment as Scientist hindi tlaga naka-specify kung ilang years.. "more than 3 years experience" tlaga nakalagay.. naitanong na yan dito sa forum dati.. ang minimum requirement kse para maging Scientist e 3 yrs experience..

Ganyan din ung assessment ko.. 7 years and 9 mos as Lab Technician.. tapos more than 3 years as Scientist..

Meron po bang iba na nakatanggap ng assessment as Scientist na hindi "more than 3 years yung nakalagay"?

Pero sa mga naunang batch tinanggap nmn lahat ng work experience at hindi ngbase dun sa assessment na more than 3 years..

65 points po yung nakuha ko.. kinapos ako ng 3 months sa work experience kaya 5 years lang ang naclaim ko..

7.0 po sa lahat ng band ang kelangan para makakuha ng 10 points sa IELTS.

Ano ba ung breakdown ng points mo sa ngaun?

Kung d ka abot ng 60 points.. pwede mo ulitin ung IELTS or take PTE Academic.. mas madali daw PTE kesa IELTS.. target mo na lahat ng band 7.0

Kung ayaw mo nang umulit.. another option is to apply for Visa 190 (State Sponsorship).

@mauriceserrano Hi, congrats for passing the exam!

Regarding your first question, yes, your agent is right, you need to have 7 band score for each section of ielts to gain 10 pts. Sadly, you have to repeat your english exam. Try PTE it is easier.

On your employment history, your Lab Tech assessment was >7 years while the MLS exam result was >3 years. That is ok because DIBP will verify this with AIMS during your visa processing. Tell your agent to follow the Lab tech assessment (10pts max) and use the MLS ANZSCO code.

Since you cant claim 10 pts from your english exam, I guess your total score is only 55pts. Assuming you're 25-32 yrs old. You need 60 for 189 visa. You can try 190 visa also. July 1 is nearing anyway.

I hope this helps. Please correct me if Im wrong coz Im no expert on this. I too only base my opinion on what I read on this forum.

@chelle Hi Chelle. Musta? May suggestion lang ako sa IELTS mu. Sa speaking part, consistent 7.0 ka kasi from previous exams, baka gusto itry ipa recheck ung speaking mu sa BC. Ako kasi naka 5 take ng IELTS, at ung huli pinacheck ko, naging 7.0 ung 6.5 na speaking ko.
