07/15 - start of classes (Bachelor in Nursing)
05/16 - passed OET (after 4 failed attempts with IELTS and PTE)
07/16 - finished uni
07/16 - received AHPRA Australian Registered Nurse rego
08/16 - student visa 500 (Diploma)
10/16 - started working as an RN
07/09/17 - Submitted EOI for State Nom Vic with 60points
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

Yan din problema ko. I already took the IELTS exam twice:
1st Test
S: 7.5
L: 8.0
R:7.0
W:6.0
OBS: 7.0
2nd Test
S: 7.5
L: 7.5
R: 8.0
W:6.0
OBS: 7.5
As you can see, it got me frustrated. My friend recommended taking OET in Australia.
How is it? Do you think it will be easier for me, especially for the writing part?

Personally, mas gamay ko kasi ang sinusulat kesa sa thru computer (PTE). For me, mas madali ang OET compared sa IELTS - though magkaparehas lang halos sila ng way of exam, ang kaibahan lang is yung OET depende sa profession mo.
Hindi ako nagreview center, nagself-review lang ako. Bumili lang ako nung online course ng OET tsaka yujng books nila na may kasamang CD.
Worth it naman ang OET kahit mas mahal siya.
May kakilala ako naka isang take na siya ng IELTS, and apat na PTE hindi pa rin niya nakukuha yung score. So, ngayong magOET na siya ... hopefully maging okay na rin.

March 2014 - took IELTS in PH (Listening 9.0, Reading 8.0, Writing 7.0, Speaking 7.5)
May 2014 - January 2015 - applied for NMC for UK
March 2015 - received NMC referral letter, but changed mind to continue in UK
July 2015 - started processing Student Visa 572 (Endorsed Enrolled Nurse)
September 2015 - Went to Sydney under tourist visa
October 2015 - flight back to PH, lodge Student Visa 572
December 2015 - received Student Visa 572
January 2016 - flight to Sydney as Student
February 2016 - Start of classes in TAFE as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
July 2016 - took IELTS in AU (Listening 8.5, Reading 7.5, Writing 6.5, Speaking 7.0)
October 2016 - took PTE in AU (Listening 65, Reading 72, Speaking 63, Writing 84)
January 2017 - took OET in AU (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking all

If you want to check whether you're ready to take the OET before you pay the registration fee and book the test ($$$ :S), there's an assessment service you can use at www.oetpreparation.org.
You get personal feedback on your level from an Australian OET teacher and it's not too expensive ($30-200).
