Cancel student visa apply for bridging whilst waiting for partner visa decision

Hi, ano po ang pros and cons if I cancelled my 573 student visa expiring 2018. I have submitted partner visa 820 in May 2016. Mdjo mahal po ang tuition sa uni so im looking at cancelling it and apply for for bridging visa. Dko rin po sure kung anong applicable na bridging kc i need to work to help my partner sa expenses.

bridging visa is only granted if you applied for another substantive visa while in Australia. You can transition from being a student to PR if you already meet the requirements.

I'm eligible to apply for bridging visa C once I cancelled my 573 student visa. But I'm worried because it doesnt have work rights.

Bridging visa E is the last visa that you'd like to get as it doesn't come with work rights. It's the lowest form of bridging visas. Before you decide to cancel your student visa make sure to call immi to know what the consequences are. Very technical kasi siya.
