    @Cassey 573 ulit inapply ko. Hindi man nga humingi financial unlike nung 1st student visa application ko. 573 din yumg 1st ko. binago student visa since July 1.

    Kailan ba start ng uni mo dapat? Kasi ako September and pina-prioritize nila yung off shore na malapit na ang start date ng school kahit na nakalagay sa immi na ang processing time ng onshore visa applicants is just 14 days.

    Oo may case na paiba-iba sinasabi ng mismong immi kaya 3x na ako tumawag to be sure and kaya andito ako sa forum hehe .... Nung tumawag ako immi sinabi ko na mag-apply ako 189 while I have student visa on going, hindi ko pa man tinanong binalaan na ako na maoOverride nga daw.

    The thing is, you can only hold 1 visa at a time and PR is still a visa.

    @Cassey hindi pa ako nagWithdraw. Hintay ako Aug 4. Exactly 2 weeks from CO contact. Humingi ng Medicals nung 1st contact for student which was the day after I did my medocals and submitted my HAP for both 189 and student visa.

    Nacontact ka ba sa student?

    Base sa timeline ng student visa processing mo eh malamang kailangan maghintay pa ako at least bandang mid-Aug bago maApprove. September 19 start ng Masters ko.

    So here's my summary:

    July 11 - Applied student visa
    July 20 - ITA, Medicals, uploaded
    July 21 - Applied 189
    July 21 - CO contact for student visa asking Medicals
    Sept 19 - Start of uni
    Oct 20 - expiration of current visa 485

    Isang subclass nalang ang student since july 1.
    Pero 573 ako kung under sa dati. Masters.

    @tangentph yup, grant na ako last week. 3wks lang inabot. kung di ako tinamad (hahaha) at na-frontload ko yung F80, malamang mas mabilis pa. pansin ko, mabilis lang pag onshore lalo na kung single. good luck sa application mo, mabilis lang din yan :)

    @n_nicee You're welcome, Congrats sa grant :) Oo substantive visa yung student visa.. Ang pagkakaintindi ko magcecease yung substantive visa which is the student visa, ang affected kung applicable yung Centrelink and Medicare benefits..

    @Cassey thanks :) yung nasa visa 190 grant notification yung ni-quote ko. so parang ang sabi is kung na-grant na yung PR visa, pero may pending student visa application ka pa, pwede mawala yung PR at ma-override nung student visa.. yun din yung comment ni tooties dito sa thread na ito, page 1.. so may risk talaga pag parehong ongoing yung student and PR visa applications gaya nung sa case ni mimic..

    @mimic 572 ang inapplyan namin, at ang processing nun based sa website is 3mos.. Yung class supposedly ang start is nung May rin...Matagal talaga yung processing that time kasi hindi lang kami yung affected pati yung mga kakilala namin.

    Hindi pa pala expired yung current visa mo...kaya may 2 pending kang Bridging visa. Yung Bridging visa mo ng student magttake effect lang yun pagkaexpire ng current visa mo.

    Bridging Visa C from 189 visa yung naibigay sa amin kasi wala na kaming substantive visa nung nagapply kami ng PR. Ang meron lang eh yung BVA from our student visa application. Okay lang naman yung BVC namin kasi may full work rights pa rin, wala nga lang travel rights. Nagtake effect lang yung BVC namin 28 days from the withdrawal date of student visa.

    Yup may time pa para sana maapprove ang PR hehe. Ayaw ko kasi mabitin visa. Madami kami gamit dito and may dogs kami so kumg mapatalsik ng Australia mahirap haha

    @tangentph Pag nakuha na yung PR visa, pwedeng iparefund yung hindi mo nagamit sa OSHC..

    May 2, 2016 Lodged application for 189 Visa (Onshore)
    May 11, 2016 CO contacted for Form 80/Medicals of daughter
    June 17, 2016 189 VISA GRANTED Thank you my amazing God :)

    Dec14, 2017 Citizenship application
    March 21, 2019 Citizenship Ceremony :)

    @mimic No worries, :) Oo ready mo na para send na kaagad,hehe Aside from email pwede mo rin palang iattach yung form sa immi account mo sa may student visa application. Yan din yung dilemma namin dati, kung kelan iwiwithdraw.. Di kasi sila nagbibigay ng advice sa immi.. It's all up to you. I hope the Lord will guide you with your decisions. :) Meron palang isang forum yung kay Mark Northam, pwede kang magtanong sa kanya, MARA agent siya. Sa kanya rin ako nagtanong dati. :)

    @Cassey Yun yung planko eh, email ko pa rin and upload sa ImmiAccount. Dapat maglagay sila ng withdraw option sa immi hehe true it's all up to me now. May he guide me indeed.
    Sa expatforum ata siya, nababasa ko nga, he's so helpful to everyone and looks like he dies it for free. Well, wala na ako maitataning haha, nasagot no na lahat. Nasa akin nalang talaga descision :)

    @mimic Sa AustraliaForum siya, and yeah, he does it for free. :) Try to upload all the docus for the PR application including AFP and form 80, para maDG ka at di na magtagal yung application niyo. All the best. :)
