@Jelz possible na hindi ka magrant ng visa kahit ng-exam ka for AIMS.. magkaiba naman ang AIMS at DIBP e.. DIBP ang mag-assess ng visa application mo.. at maraming mga possible areas kung san ka pwedeng ma-deny.. so magbasa basa ka dito sa forum para alam mo ung mga dapat at hindi dapat gawin..

Hi Jelz!

That I can't answer kasi I dont know the answer lol! Ibang visa or pathway kasi ang ginamit ko kya ako andto...sorry hun!

Pero I think may punto c c raspberry0707...mag kaiba kasing department ang AIMS at immigration...recognition of prior learning lang ang role ni AIMS while c immigration parin ang mgddecide if iddeny ka nila or papasukin ng bansa. Marami kasing factors ang pedeng maka affect sa application mo.

Ur welcome hun! try to read all ng nsa thread nato ulit... bka makuha mo din ang sagot or try to read other thread kasi and thread na ito ay more on MLS exam...if you dig or read deeper in the website of AIMS and immigration don mo marerealize na separate sila and kahit nakapasa ka sa AIMS may chances prn na hndi mggrant ang visa mo. Hope that helps! ;-)

Goodluck on ur application and mejo malayo pa ang lalakbayin ng application mo pero katulad ng lahat na andto..lahat ay nkukuha sa tyaga at sipag ;-)

@gene_borres THANKS for sharing this information. I want to apply for assessment for Medical Lab Scientist for immigration to Australia. I have an MBBS degree and an MD degree in Physiology from India. Would be highly grateful if you would kindly guide me in English as I was unable to follow most of the thread in another language. Please guide me in the following aspects:
1) can a person with MBBS,MD degree apply for this post?
2) How to prepare for the exam? which resources did you use and how long did you prepare?
3) Did you get a job immediately after clearing the exam?

Iba pa yung Job Description sa COE. Usually kasama yan sa pinipirmahan mo before mag-commence yung employment aside from the contract. (Based sa mga previous companies na napasukan ko) Nakasulat dun lahat ng tasks at responsibilities mo.

Kung walang binigay sa iyo ung HR nio. Pagawa ka sa kanila or pwede din pagawa sa immediate supervisor mo. Dapat andun contact details nung gumawa nung letter para pwede nila i-verify.

@mauriceserrano yung tatlong Job description ko HR yung gumawa.. yung isa yung Supervisor.. ang masa-suggest ko ask ka muna sa HR nio.. pag sinabing sa Supervisor or Senior ka pagawa, ask ka permission na gamitin yung letterhead ng company.

Kahit may access kse tayo sa mga blank paper with letterhead ng company, for official use un, so dapat authorized yung gagamit nun. May iba kse n ngkakaproblema sa ganyan. Sila lang gumawa ng letter tapos pinapirma sa senior nila. Hindi ma-verify kse hindi aware yung HR na nirelease ung letter n un.

Pwede kse natin isulat kahit ano sa Job Description kung tayo gagawa. Ang importante e approve ng company kung ano man nakasulat sa letter. So safe pa din kung lalapit ka muna sa HR nio.

@jhana0805 wala naman criteria for age.. may set of requirements sa website ng AIMS. Visit their website para makita mo kung nameet mo yung mga requirements for assessment. Good luck.

@raspberry0707 Hi! allune here from PK, hindi ba 2 years post grad experience lang ang required ng AIMS?

"Applicants who have an acceptable science degree (equivalent to AQF 7 or 8) and two (2) years post graduate professional experience in a diagnostic medical laboratory within the five year period immediately prior to applying for assessment will usually be assessed as eligible to sit the Examination."
