@zoe_girl common reasons why they require medical check are below:

•aged 70 years old or older,
•a parent of an Australian and you have a "queued" migration application, and intend to stay for more than 6 months,
•likely to enter a hospital or other health care environment, including nursing homes as a patient, visitor, trainee or employee, or for any purpose,
•likely to enter a classroom environment, including preschool, creche and child care situations,
•known or suspected of having a medical condition, regardless of your length of stay, or
•intending to stay in Australia for more than 3 months, and you have recently visited or lived in a country with a Very High-risk rate of tuberculosis (Tb).

thank you @batman ... malamang pasok sya dun sa last bullet. hehe! 1 year kasi yung request ko. ewan ko lang kung payagan. hehe! naka temp visa kasi ko dito tapos wala naman ako nilagay na reason to stay basta bakasyon lang. so goodluck. pagnagpamedical at di naapprove.. tumbling na lang ako. :P

Hi All! Just a quick question. I submitted my mom's sponsored tourist visa application on the 10th of July online with almost all of the documents attached. Health exam's done and submitted as well. My mom checked her application yesterday and on the checklist it says "evidence of personal finances" recommended.

If I am sponsoring my mom, should I attach my own evidence of finance or should my mom attach her bank statement. It's just confusing. I feel like my mom does not need to submit her bank statement coz I'm sponsoring her anyway. Any thought on this would be helpful. Thanks guys.

its a standard requirement. an applicant needs to provide an evidence of financial capability. pwedeng bank statement mo ang iprovide since ikaw ung sponsor.

Hi po student po ako dito sa sydney australia and gusto ko po sana e invite ang friend ko dito na mag tourist ano po ba ang process at mga kailangan ko gawin para ma approve ang tourist visa nya kahit 2-3 weeks lang na stay dito. Thanks po

@muffles127 hi muffles,finally they granted me 1yr tourist visa w 3mos stay per entry. I clarified the health exam and it auto triggered online daw if you clicked for 1yr visa on application.

1 year ung binigay sa kanya na single entry. 2 weeks din ung process.

finally got tourist visa for dad. it only took 10 business days, online application. 3 years validity ng visa multiple entry!

Guys newbie here were planning to apply for a tourist visa me my mom and dad and it will be sponsored by my brother who is Aus citizen already may i know if need pa magpa medical since my mom is 68 and my dad is 62 at ano ano po ang requirements to be semd by us to proceed to the application

@yummy143 only 75yo and above are required for medical, some instances CO requires medical for particular reasons like you have been in countries consider of high risk.

yes, u can submit multiple applications for different applicants under your own immi account.
