Hello, I'm back.

Kumusta po sa forum nato? Buhayin ko lang po etong thread.

Magandang balita: Sa wakas, naipasa ko na rin ang IELTS after more than a year na nagpahinga dahil di maka-move on sa refusal notification at dahil laging dini-delay ang pag-take ng IELTS.

Malungkot na balita: Masaya na sana dahil pwede na ulit mag submit ng EOI, kaso nung tinignan ko ang occupation ceiling ng 2212, puno na.

Biglang nawala sandali ang excitement ko. Pro nag-submit pa rin ako ng EOI today baka ma open pa pag may ma reject or mag-back out.

Ang bilis naman ng 2212 na napuno. Nung last time ko na check mga July, nsa 600 pa lang tapos ngayon wala na. Mababago points ko if ever next year pa ma-invite. Haays.....

Hirap din ma invite sa SS. Tapos NSW nalang ngayon ang nag ssponsor. Kakaclose lang sa QLD. 489 nalang inoffer sakin.

@TasBurrfoot internal audit kasi experience ko, wala ako sa accounting field. Kaya di ako pd.
@cpa_oct2011 ano po ung SS? State nomination ba? Meron bang state nomination for Internal Auditors? Mukhang di na ako updated ah. Kasi dati nasa B sya, dapat nakapag-aral ka ng 2yrs sa Au para dun.

feeling ko nga naglipatan lahat sa 2212. Mas nauna pa kaysa Accountant General napuno. Dati baligtad.

hi everyone!

got 2 yrs experience for external audit and currently as an internal auditor 1 yr and 9 months.

i applied for assessment both CPAA( external audit) and VETASSESS ( ineternal audit) thinking na two yrs lng irerecognize ni CPAA.
to our surprise, CPAA recognized both work experience ko. so no need for me to wait for VETASSESS result, icancel ko na. meron bang same experience ko? unexpected ang CPAA to crediy my internal audit experience.

will apply eoi for nsw state nomination. external na lng dn... ok lng naman cgro nohm? kht current job ko is internal?

how long will it take kaya?

Quick question:

Current job: Internal auditor (1yr+)
Previous job: External auditor (8 yrs)

Will I be eligible to apply for internal auditor through VETASSESS?

I have an on-going assessment for external auditor in ICAA. Kaya lang medyo naging struggle due to my "Finance" subject (based on the new rules, Finance is now mandatory). I am still waiting for their assessment, but I'm considering other options since I have all the documents ready, including IELTS.

Is my experience in IA sufficient and how will it affect any points system? I'm currently reading through the vetassess website, but any feedback will be much appreciated! Thanks!

@mgfg you will be but VET may only consider your IA experience unless you will be able to justify that your experience as EA is closely related to IA. Otherwise, you won't be able to claim points in work experience. They will also deduct 1 year of your work exp as post-qualification for IA.

If I were you, I'll try nalang po sa ICAA for EA assessment, as far as I know, nakalagay sa advisory nila for IA assessment ng VET that "accountants and external auditors" are not closely related sa IA..

@loo yes okay lang naman.. make sure po na closely related yung occupations mo in IA sa EA job descriptions ng DIBP. I've read stories of others kasi na even credited or acknowledged by the assessing body, ang final say pa rin whether to decide na closely nominated or not is the AU government. Pwede lumusot kay NSW, pero baka madecline naman sa AU immi.

Although yung nabasa ko na isa is accredited ni VET ung accounting experience niya, then nag lodge na siya ng 189 visa and nagbayad na rin. Kaso na decline dahil sa findings na overclaiming ng work experience dahil hindi closely related ang accounting sa IA.

For EOI ng NSW, questionable and still a mystery kung pano invititation nila ngayon. Pero parang inuuna nila yung mga less ang competition. Mas nauuna ata invite ang IA sa EA? Yung mga accountants even they have 70 points, according sa kabilang forum, mukang wala pa rin sila invites.. in my case, i waited for around 90 days to be invited although in the middle of that nag update points ko dahil sa work exp so from the time na naging 60 points ako excluding ss, after 24 days nakareceive ako invite.. until now, waiting for approval..

What is closely related employment?

In order to determine the “Date Deemed Skilled”, VETASSESS applies DIBP's definition of closely related employment; to the nominated occupation. DIBP defines closely related employment as paid employment of at least 20 hours per week in an occupation which has the same skill level and draws on a similar skill set and subject matter as the nominated occupation. Usually closely related employment is an occupation which is in the same Unit group of ANZSCO as the nominated occupation.

I have high hopes kasi IA and EA are in the same Group (2212). Kaya lang kung mababawasan pala ng 1 year for post qualification, sayang ang points.

hi po. sino po may template dito ng duties and responsibilities ng internal auditor na nakapagpaassess na sa vetasses. baka po pwede makahingi para sure na din po na makakuha ng positive result from them. balita ko po medyo mahigpit ang vetassess pagdating sa details ng work. e-mail ko po [email protected] ....

Hi mga Sir. Nasa internal audit field din ako and I dream of migrating in Oz someday. I am not a CPA but I'm currently working on my CIA certification with 2 years of experience in internal auditing. I hope sana after makuha ko na ang CIA certification ma.asikaso ko na ang documents for migration. I will be following this thread from now on para updated ako. Thank you mga sir and hoping na marami pang mag.post about IA related concerns dito, I learned a lot just by reading your comments.

@jrmegio kumusta ang cia certification mo? Mine is also in progress, part 3 nalang. But im struggling to find time to study lately bec of work. After nito, i plan to take CRMA naman.

Start mo na gather docs mo para ready na agad by the time magpa assess ka.

hi all! una sa lahat, congrats sa mga may invites! happy 4 u all. anyway, yesterday i checked for internal auditors, corp. secretaries and treasurers, naka TBA pa rin ang status with regards to minimum points for 189. d kaya isa ito sa dahilan why i havent received any invites even for 190. baka me alam kau from other blogs, bat naka TBA pa rin hanggang ngayon yung min. points. please share po

already sent an EOI on June 13 or 14 with point score of 60. then, nakita ko yung invitation round ng 3 August. the point score for auditor is 70 and under pro rata arrangement. can anyone pls explain ano ibig sabihin ng info? what will be the chances for 60 pointers? what will be the possible worst scenario and ano alternative action?

@dat meaning on priority are those with 70 points above. unless and until maubos na sila 70 pointers that's the time si lower pointers like 60 maiinvite. so to increase your chance to get an invite you have to have your points increased to 70. how? PTE if di mo pa na maximizes score you can get in English.

we will never know kailan maubos ang 70. nakaka stress naman... already lodged an EOI so di na pwede bagohin. also, to spend another exam

need a serious thought on that.

@dat okay lang yun at least naka pila na ang EOI mo. tiwala lang ma invite ka din. mag apply ka din ng state sponsorship + 5 points din yun.

Hi po. May tanong po ako regarding sa assessment process ng VETASSESS. Based po s Information Sheet nila for IA...Applicants must also have at least one year of highly relevant, post-qualification employment, at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years... Ibig sabihin po ba automatic na negative na ang assessment result kapag less than 1 yr in the last 5 years ang IA work experience? Salamat po.

VETASSESS Skills Assessment applications require an assessment of both qualifications and employment against the criteria for your nominated occupation - work experience is an essential component of the skills assessment application.

@batman hi po. I had a 5 yr IA experience but my current job is accountant for more than 4 yrs na. In the last 5 years, less than 1 yr. n lng ung IA exp. q. In that case po ba, negative na agad result ng assessment? Tnx po.

@joannecuenca I thought you don't have previous work experience. Your case is new, wala pa ako na encounter with the same dilemma as yours. Wait natin ibang internal auditors view.

Hello everyone! Im still waiting for ITA pero 65points lang ang visa 189 ko and 70 points sa visa 190:( May nakatanggap na sa inyo dito ng invite kagabi?
