Nurse with no experience applying Visa 189/190/489

Hi good morning po,

age - 30
language - 20
education - 10
spouse - 5
optional** state sponsorship - 5
optional** relative in Canberra - 5

Question ko lang po is tatangapin po ba ng immigration kung wala po ako Work experience sa nursing?

Ano po kaya pinakamaganda approach?

Thank you po and good luck to everyone! :)

Hi, whether or not you want to practice here as a nurse, in order for you to apply for 189, you need to be registered here in Australia (AHPRA) and you need to have your skills assessed by ANMAC. The first thing to do is to convert your Ph license by studying here in AU. Godbless. :)

Help naman po, I need an advise po, I took OET exam twice and within 6 months between two exam. I satisfy the requirement of APHRA and ANMAC. My question po is if in case na matapos ko ang bridging program leading to Australian RN and apply for ANMAC, and completed the assessment. I would like to ask if I apply for Independent Skilled Visa 189. Can I receive the 10 points for language competency. I am thinking if they will award the 10 points for language competency if i have 2 OET exams taken within 6 months. I am referring to the following website which doesn't mention that OET result can combine with two result. I am referring to the following website:
    https://www.border.gov.au/Lega/Lega/Form/Immi-FAQs/how-can-i-prove-i-have-competent-english

I appreciate sa mag comment po. Please enlighten me.
    Thank you

@momsienikki Hi, do you lack points for 189 kaya niyo gustong kuhanin yung additional 5 points? Kasi kung pasok naman sa 60, you don't have to. Sa nurses kasi kakaunti lang ang nagaapply kaya kahit na 60 lang guaranteed na maiinvite. I believe you'll have to study and be registered here in Au to have a positive assessment from ANMAC and claim the said partner points.

@Cassey hubby ko kasi main applicant. Software engineer. Saktong 60 kasi sya.. kukunin sana namin yung additional 5 points. If ako ang main applicant, anong magandang visa type? May 5 years OR exp ako dito sa PH. Thanks!

@momsienikki Ahh i see. Need mo munang magaral dito to be a Registered Nurse here. With your experience pwede kang kumuha ng bridging course as long as mamemeet mo yung required score for English Test then later on be assessed by ANMAC and apply for either Visa 189 or 190.

Ang pwede mo lang po bang iclaim na points eh yung nakasulat lang sa letter of determination at nothing else? During the time kasi na maglodge ako sa anmac , I was not able to find a supervisor na pwede gumawa ng reference letter kaya di ko sya nasama sa claims ko. Ang nilagay ko lang is yungpresent na work ko which is stil 10 points sa work exp. ngayon since nakakuha na ko ng reference and payslips from the previous employee sa ph, can i just claim it and attach the proofs?

    Thanks

@dy3p HI, You can only claim whatever is in the Letter of Determination. Just like what I said in the other post, overclaiming points will surely lead to a refusal. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. It should be assessed and be recognized by ANMAC. You can call ANMAC because the last time that I've called them sabi ng staff na it won't take long to add up additional details. You have to pay $100+ if you decide to do so.
