    Hi po, I am currently reading sa victoria na site, and it says that to be able to be nominated by the government of Victoria you need to have these documents.

    1. a detailed resume or CV
    2. Victorian nomination declaration
    3. a skills assessment
    4. English language test results (if applicable)
    5. offer of employment (if applicable).

    I would like to ask about number 2, 3, and 5. For number 5, why is it stated "if applicable"? Is it OK if I don't submit any employment offers since I'm not looking for jobs yet?

    Right now I'm currently in the process of being assessed by ACS for my nominated occupation.

    The reason why #5 is applicable are only for those applying for VIC SS but residing in another state as well as for those applying for regional vic ss.

    Base dito, ang pag kakaintindi ko e hindi na kelangan http://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au/visas-and-immigrating/skilled-visas/skilled-nominated-visa-subclass-190#OnshoreApplicantsTable

    Ano po naging experience nyo dito? Mag submit pa lang ako ng EOI for SS.

    @hyjac28 bro if you don't mind ilan na yung points mo? Tester din ako but kinuha kong route is yung software engineer.. same job description naman din sya kaya naging positive yung result... I think much better yung SE kasi pwede ka mag visa 189 or 190...

    hindi ko pa sure yung total points ko, may 4 kasi akong pwedeng maging points depending on when I lodge and sa result ng IELTS:

    (all including 5 points na sa SS)
    -if IELTS is just 7 - 70pts (75 pts if lodged on November kasi 8-10yrs work exp na ako nun)
    -if IELTS is 8 above - 80 pts (85 pts if lodged on November)

    @Hunter_08 bago kasi ako nagbasa ng forums nag-decide ako na Software Tester since super swak tska baka hindi ako ma-assess as Software Engineer using my solid testing JDs. Tapos naging ok din lang sa akin kasi sa Melbourne din naman nakatira yung brother ko. And then, ayun, nabasa ko yung mga rejections. :(

    So ikaw kahit testing talaga yung JDs mo, you were assessed by ACS as suitable? Or you had to tweak the JDs?

    Well, wala na yata muna akong choice but to lodge muna after IELTS and wait, if negative result, that's the time na lang siguro na magpa-assess ule ako for SE.

    january--denied SS aplication ko sa victoria
    August-- send again application (last try ba), pagkasubmit, laging nag-eerror, kaya tinigilan ko na, nawalan na ako gana
    Aug15--to my surprise, nagsend sila ng email asking bkt ayaw ko sa una kong application sa S.A, at bkt nde sa mga state a may kakilala ako (S.A at w.a)
    sep08--hahha tagal pa bago ko sinagot, wala nga ako gana eh
    sep09--acknowledged by Victoria, and to process, result by 8-12 weeks

    Sep23--received my DIBP inviattion to lodge 190visa wahaha bangis... buhay ulet ang pangarap
    :))
