Hi internal auditors! Newbie here. Also just decided to pursue my oz dream.

Question lang po regarding sa latest na round. Nabasa ko sa past discussions here na yung 70 points ay parang preference lamang? Uunahin lang sila? If then, if meron may alam, based on past experiences may chance pa din ba ang 60/65?

Also based on the 1 Sep round, 65 points na ba ang minimum?

Based on initial self assessment kasi may 60 *medyo* sure points na ako. Di pa ako nagpapa-assess, pero 65 kapag ma-credit yung external audit exp ko (but doing advisory work). I still have a shot if I get superior on my PTE, which would make my points 75, God willing. Doable, pero parang mahirap.

Medyo nalungkot/kinabahan lang ako kasi biglang taas yung point requirement. Hayyy.. July 2017 pa naman target date ko ng pag-pass ng EOI if ever, kaso baka by then 80 na ang minimum. Haha.

@dyanisabelle minimum points still 60 points. only happen that lot of applicants has 70 points score so the cut off in terms of points ay 70. may chances pa din anmn ang 60 points pag naubos na ang 70 points. slim chance nga lang kasi limited lang din slot ng visa for auditors.

@batman thanks for the response po. So kung 1413 ang ceiling ng auditors for this fiscal year, does this mean naka hati hati na po yan sa buong fiscal year (example lang, 117 per month kung monthly ang round [pero hindi naman po ata monthly hehe example lang]). So kung 117/month lang, uunahin muna ang 70 pointers, tas say 100 lnaka 70pts, 17 lang kkunin na 65 below? Ganun po ba yun? Sorry po, super newbie ako hehe.

@dyanisabelle yes naka prorate sya for the entire fiscal year. per your example kong kunti lang ang 70 points at di aabot sa minimum invitee ibaba nila ang ceiling into 65 so kong may 100 na na 70, 17 na lang ang kukunin sa 65 based on earliest effective date ng eoi. this is not official. just my analysis.

hi! question po.. Im new to this.. Im still completing my requirements.. il try to apply and nominate ko sna ung experience q as an internal auditor since about 4 yrs aq nag-work s internal audit. However nalipat aq and working currently in accounting department.. balak q magpassess thru VETASSESS.. i asked for a COE sa company nmin but basic COE lng ang provided, no history of positions indicated and stated nga n currently working aq sa accounting department.. pde n po b un? and attach n lng aq ng mga Memo q nung na-designate aq as internal auditor? then job description as internal auditor... thank you po..

@momeesean28 you need stat declaration for JD if the employer will not provide it. also double check with your assessing body if required na currently employed ka ba dapat sa nominated occupation mo.

Hi guys, i'm planning to apply for an assessment with VETASSESS. I have 2 years of experience in external audit, then 2+ years in internal audit. Currently, i'm working as an internal audit officer.

Ano ba yung chance na magnegative yung assessment sakin? Or tingin nyo mas okay na antayin ko na lang na matapos ko yung CIA ko by December 2016? Natatagalan kasi ako sa 3-4 months na waiting period ng assessment e plano ko makapaglodge na ng eoi by January or February next year. TIA!

@mistervirata kelan ka mag 3 years sa internal audit. hindi yata pede I claim ang external audit for internal audit nominated occupation.

Plano ko hindi na magclaim ng points for employment. Mag aim na lang ako na mga 8 sa pte (cross fingers) Magiging positive pa rin naman yung assessment sakin kahit less than 3 years experience ko dba?

@batman Yun pa, if maka 8 ako sa pte, 65 points in total yun (age=30,educ=15,pte=20), pwede bang mag apply for state nomination para may +5?

Hi guys, question ulit. Mag 5 years work experience palang kasi ako this November.

For purposes of claiming work experience points, pwede na ba ako magpa-assess ngayon kay Vetassess? Mabibigyan pa din ba ako ng 10 points (for 5 years) considering positive outcome yung work experience ko, pero at the time of application, 4 years and 10/11 months palang yung work ko? Automatic ba siya maga-update, or is the points based at the time the docs was submitted?

Naisip ko kasi 3 months naman ang processing ni Vetassess, so sayang din ang ilang buwan. Hehe.

Hello! So if I understand it correctly, hindi si Vetassess ang nagsasabi kung ilang points ang pwede mo ma-claim, tama po ba? Ia-assess lang niya talaga kung yung work experience ko sa lahat ng naging employer ko ay equivalent to internal auditors sa Australia?

Medyo nalito kasi ako, kasi may mga ibang replies ako nababasa dito sa forum na ganitong years lang naapprove ng Vetassess sa work experience nila. hehe.

@dyanisabelle ang vetassess ang mag assess kong anong years start ka maka claim ng skilled employment. so sila na din ang mag sabi ng point na pede mo I claim, sinasabi ko naman na pag dating sa EOI input mo lang dates. auto count na ni EOI kong ilan.

@batman okay thank you! So for example, 5 points lang ibigay ni vetassess kasi di pa umabot ng 5 years, okay lang yun kasi pagdating sa EOI automatic na magiging 10 points na siya after 5 years?

pwede po humingi ng advice? internal auditor po ako with 2 years experience lang, 22 y/o, wala pa ko ielts, pero im aiming for 10 - 20 points. nagse-self review for cia certification ako ngayun, balak ko sana after ko magtake pumasa man or hinde i'll go straight for assessment, is it advisable na? what do you think guys? thanks, btw this is for 189.

@caspar44 Hi, based on the info you provided, I'm assuming you'll have maximum points of 60 (age-25; english ability - 20; qualifications - 15; skilled employment - 0). Currently, 60 pointers in your occupational group have very small chance of getting an invitation. But, if macocomplete mo na yung 3 years work experience mo in the next few months, then I suggest start ka na to review for the english test and aim for 20 points. Once nakuha mo na yung 20 points for english ability and nacomplete mo na rin ang 3 yrs work experience mo, pwede ka na magpa-assess ng qualification and employment mo. If maging positive ang result, you'll have 65 points by then. You'll have a better chance of getting an invite, though may few months waiting period din.

Kung matagal mo pa macocomplete yung 3 years mo sa work, ok rin na mag english test ka na (and again, aim for 20 points) then magpa assess ka na rin. Once positve, pwede mo na rin ipila ang EOI mo with 60 points. Though sabi ko nga, very small chance of getting an invite in the current situation. But who knows? Pwede namang magbago yan. at least nakapila ka na. Once mareach mo na yung 3 years work experience mo, kailangan mo pa rin magpa-assess for your skilled employment in order to claim additional points.
