How to process Work Visa? I have a work waiting in Sydney

Good Day Sir/Mam,

May question lang po ako especially sa mga may Work Visa na sa Australia.

Nag-Business travel na po ako sa Sydney, Australia twice noong 2012. Pinadala po ako ng company to conduct training sa mga new hires namin sa Sydney. Mga total of 1month lang po ang stay ko sa Sydney.

I left the company last year (2015), now I am planning to work in Australia. Kinausap ko yung dati kong Manager sa Sydney and nag-offer sya ng trabaho sakin sa Sydney.

Tanong ko lang po kung what type of Visa po ba ang dapat kong applyan? I'm not sure kung qualified ako sa Skilled Visa. IT Company po yung previous company ko where I worked for 7 years. Now I am a Website Manager sa isang Financial Company.

Need help po kung ano ba ang dapat kong gawin? Mejo nagmamadali na din yung friend ko na magpunta na ako sa Australia.

Kailangan po ba ako muna mag-Tourist Visa? Paano po ba ang legal na process sa ganitong situation?

Check mo visa 457 and also ask your prospect employer to help you process 457 for you. Meron thread dito sa forum about visa 457 makatulong yun sayo and or google mo lang visa 457 australia makita mo details and requirements. All the best!

For 457, your prospective employer must be approved by DIBP to hire employees outside of Australia..so dadaan sa application process(unless authorised na). Why not go through skilled migration route? Unless ready ka na sa mga needed docs, the application process is not too long

You can come as a tourist but you cannot work until your work visa is sorted out

Paano po pala if hindi ako magqualify sa Skilled Visa meron po ba dito na makakapag-explain ng process ng Skilled Visa Application?

Seven years po ako nag-work sa isang IT Company, pero 1year as Tech Support Rep, then Naging Analyst, the Remote Account Manager, then Product Specialist po (HTML). Mag-Qualify pa po ba sa SOL and requirements sa Skilled Independent VISA?

@mmuela for skilled visa meron 189 and 190, search nio na lng sa website ng dibp for further info. Bale you have to take english exam then pa assess sa authorized body. It's a point system and minimum is 60 points. You should nominate an occupation that is included in SOL if you are going for visa 189. CSOL for 190. But in your case if work is already waiting you can ask the employer if willing to sponsor you for 457 visa.

Nagtanong ka na ba sa iba kung paano nila ginawa yung Reference Letter or CV?

Too bad yung IELTS and PTE exam mo hindi pa umabot.

@mmuela what do you mean with reference letter or cv? For ACS Assessment please see yung thread madami na dun tips, you dont need CV for ACS. My reference for employment is fine I just need to comply with the required 4years. Post mu dun course mu and employment history para mkpa input yung ibang members. Ganun talaga yung sa ielts/pte pag you're aiming for 20pts need pa pataasin, yung minimum lng na need ni dibp is competent, equal to 6 yun in each category.

@mmuela ask mo yung prospective employer mo if pwede ka nya i-sponsor ng visa 457.

If not, need mo dumaan sa visa 189/190.

Ang alam ko. hindi ka pwede mag apply ng ibang visa habang in effect ang tourist visa mo (in case mag aapply ka ng tourist visa). You have to be careful not to breach your visa conditions because you can be banned in AU for 3 years and it might affect your future application.

@rich88 thank you! Hindi naman ako nag-apply for Tourist visa. I had one before pero expired na (since 2012 pa).

If you have a job waiting dapat sinisimulan na ng prospective employer mo ang 457 process.

@mmuela first did you ask the employer regarding visa 457? Regarding reference sa employment yes yan yung guidelines, you can ask from former & current employers na you need those details in your certificate of employment.
