Hello po sa lahat.I need help po. I really want to study in Australia. I'm a nursing graduate and had 3yrs experience working as staff in the hospital. What visa would be the best po for me if ,and how to start it. Thank you po

    @MeiMei most of the nurses needs to go conversion degree. my cousin in law took 2 years BSN.

    Timeline: Student Visa Subclass 573 (Masters)
    06 July 2015: Visa Grant
    April 2018: Uni Graduation

    Timeline: Permanent Visa (189) Accountant 221111
    18 April 2018: ITA received - Visa 189
    04 May 2018 : Lodged Visa Application - Visa 189
    29 Aug 2018 - First CO Contact - PCC Qatar (partner)
    9 Jan 2019 - 2nd CO Contact - penal waiver
    18 Jan 2019 - Updated immiaccount with penal waiver
    29 Jan 2019 - Forwarded PCC to gsm.allocated email
    8 Feb 2019 - Visa Grant - Finally!!

    Timeline: Citizenship
    July 2020: Application lodgment
    May 2021: Citizenship Exam

    Registered Nurse Nec

    06/15 - touchdown Oz
    07/15 - start of classes (Bachelor in Nursing)
    05/16 - passed OET (after 4 failed attempts with IELTS and PTE)
    07/16 - finished uni
    07/16 - received AHPRA Australian Registered Nurse rego
    08/16 - student visa 500 (Diploma)
    10/16 - started working as an RN

    07/09/17 - Submitted EOI for State Nom Vic with 60points

    I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

    Hi @MeiMei! hmm.. It's not easy as suggesting you only 1 path to take. To practice here you need to be 1. registered with AHPRA and during whatever course you take have 2. a valid visa.

    For AHPRA, you can 1. get your Philippine credentials assessed, after which they will recommend you to take a bridging course, and finally reapply with AHPRA for registration. 2. take a conversion course of 1-2 years, and apply with AHPRA. some courses do not lead to registration so be careful, and 3. take the full Bachelor course (3 years) or do a post-grad Masters degree leading to registration (pre-registration) (2 years).

    Different visas will apply for each pathway. Plus, you will need to take consideration of future pathways.

    For AHPRA check their website. There is a useful thread about applying for internationally-trained nurses from the Philippines at allnurses.com Just google it.

    Hi guys,

    Na try nyo na po ba mag wire transfer before nuong sa pinas pa kayo? nag wire transfer kasi ako using my bpi bank to ANZ bank darwin branch ng school. pero its been 5 working days na since last 21 oct i made my transfer. hindi parin po daw nila na rerecieve sa bank account nila. nag wowory na ako kasi sabi ng bpi 2-3 days lang daw clearing nito then matatangap na ng bank ng school. sana dadating this week para matangap ko na eCOE ko at ng maka process na sa student visa :-)

    ano po ba ang mga possble na ngyayari dahil sa delay and babalik ba ang pera ko sa account ko sakaling hindi nila ma process? sino po ang naka experience sa inyo ng ganitong delay? my way ba para ma monitor ang process?

    @valiantboy Kung masters degree po, strict ba sila sa 6.5 all bonds for ielts?when i asked for bachelor naman, some schools can waive it daw like uVU but need to add English course?

    need advise

    BSN graduate ako pero hindi RN..pagnag aral ako ng BSN dyan sa AU mga ilang years kaya? balak ko mag apply ng student visa kasi.

    Napunta kasi ako sa admin works eh. Mga ilang years kaya pag BSN pwede din ba sa conversion program kahit hindi ako RN and no exp sa hospital
