@mergetwo thanks. diba hindi hihingi ang VIC ng proof of funds? pero may required amount per person. paano kapag hindi amabot yung fund ko. 3 kasi kmi may dalawa akong dependents base sa website 40,000 Aud. ang kailangan.

Hello po sa lahat! i've been following this forum po and now i have my share of queries. Sana po you can help me enlighten my doubts...
Si hubby po main applicant (261311) non-ICT Bachelo'rs degree grad cya in which ung school nya falls under Section 2.
ACS assessment done and has a positive outcome, 8yrs plus skilled employment after 6 yrs. deduction.
Now my questions po:

1. How many points po ba pede ko ma.claim sa qualifications nya? 15 parin or 10 lang?

2. In case 10 pts. lang po, we'll fall short na of 5 pts. under visa 190, so can we proceed to apply for visa 489?

3. Btw po, pede ba magapply ng sabay for VIC SS visa 190 and visa 489?

15 pts. po sa skilled employment, how about ung sa Non-ICT Bachelor's Degree nya po,
( under Section 2 frm the list of accredited schools) how many pts. po pede i.claim? 15 or 10 pts. lang?

@engineer20 ung sa ACS result ( via RPL) , wala po actually binanggit regarding sa qualifications niya. Nag deduct bale ng 6 yrs. kc Non-ICT Bachelor's Degree grad cya.
Eto ung naging reply nila:

"Your skills have been assessed to be suitable for migration under 261311 ( Analyst Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code.

The following employment after June 2006 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261311 ( Analyst Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code.

Dates: 06/00- 01/08 ( 7yrs 7mths)
Position: ( Job 1)
Employer -----
Country: Sg

Dates: 01/08-01/15 (7yrs 0 mths)
Position: ( Job 2)
Employer: -----
Country: Sg

Then what follows po ay ung parang disclaimer na nila and validity period.
Worried lang po kc ako pag 15 pts. ung i.claim namin kc baka magka.issue in the future
( worst if visa application stage na and we'll be refused after payment pa)
Kung ma.confirm ko na 10 pts. lang talaga pede mai.claim, might as well consider Visa 489 or re-take ng PTE-A

Hi, Guys! Kaka-submit ko lang yesterday ng Victoria SS and EOI ko and nagulat ako I already received the Victoria SS Ref. No. kaninang 6:00 AM. Do you think it's a bad sign? Kasi I was able to read from some comments here that it took 1-3 weeks for them to receive an acknowledgement. Thanks!

Hi, just a question. I'm gathering my requirements for Vic state nomination. How does the 2-year obligation work, does that prevent me from leaving VIC? Let say, for example, I wanted to have a one month vacation in PH, does the 2-year obligation apply and prevent me from travelling outside VIC?

Thanks

The 2 year obligation only prevents you to live and work outside VIC. Vacation/trips outside VIC is ok as long as your permanent address is in VIC.

Victoria State Sponsorship Update: Temporary closure in skilled applications for ICT occupations

Victoria State has announced that due to a large volume of skilled visa nomination applications received, applications for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) occupations will not be accepted from 11 November 2016 to 6 March 2017.

The closure will be for a period of four months, however further updates will be provided should this be extended.

The occupations affected by the temporary closure are:

135112 ICT Project Manager
261111 ICT Business Analyst
261112 Systems Analyst
261311 Analyst Programmer
261312 Developer Programmer
261313 Software Engineer
261314 Software Tester
261399 Software and Applications Programmers nec
262111 Database Administrator
262112 ICT Security Specialist
263111 Computer Network and Systems Engineer
This temporary closure will allow processing of all outstanding applications and reduce the risk of delay for future applicants.

All applications currently in process, and received prior to this date, will be assessed against current guidelines and an outcome will be provided in due course.

Good news for existing applicants kasi hindi na matatabunan ng new applicants with higher qualifications and sooner makakareceive na ng results from Victoria kasi inuubos nalang nila ung ICT applicants

@ClmOptimist yes bad nes for the new applicants but it should give them more time to add more points to their existing ones and if possible they can apply for 189.

As for existing, i hope its good news.

Buti na lang nagpasa na ako nung November 9, muntik ko pa this week ipasa, buti na lang!!! But I hope it's good news for those who just made it to the cut-off. Worry ko kasi baka formality lang na kasama kami but in reality, they will just reject. Pero God knows what's best for everyone. In His time, all good things will happen...

Hi need your advise, nagpasa na ako ng VIC SS last Oct 15 and already acknowledged it by the body. Unfortunately, I lost my job on Oct 31 (company closure). My concern is yung CV ko kasi nakasulat sa latest employment ko that time of submission is up to present. Need ko ba revise CV ko then put the end date nung last employment ko then re-send sa kanila?

@nit@sirk sa tingin ko no need na kasi ang evaluation nila is kung kailan yung submission date mo sa online application. pero kung may EOI ka, yun ang dapat mo i update para di magconflict once na mainvite ka.
In my case, di ako ng EOI for VIC online application lang...

May isa pa pala ako tanong, nung nag-apply kasi ako sa Victoria sponsorship, may tanong dun kung saang area ng Victoria ako mag-stay, metropolitan or regional...so pinili ko metropolitan. Sa EOI meron din palang tanong na "Would the client be prepared to live outside an Australian capital city?" ano ba dpat na isasagot dito na hindi magko-contradict dun sa Vic SS application ko? TIA
