I highly recommend using http://ieltsadvantage.com/writing-task-2/ para sa write essay. Tuturuan ka talaga kung papano dapat sagutin yung different types of questions and maraming syang sample topics and answers. This helped me go from an 80 sa mock exams to a 90.

Sa tcyonline naman yung kinuha ko na package is yung 10 tests for USD$30 to be paid through Paypal. Wala pa syang ksamang mock test. You can purchase one separately for USD$15.

@dorbsdee pansin ko po nka 90 kau sa speaking, pwede po post kau ng sample ng speaking, ung speed, volume, pace, length.. haha lahat nlng po.. esp sa describe image.. maraming salamat po..

Ako rin, naka 3 take ng PTE bago nakapasa...

Advise ko sa Speaking section, wag ka mahiya magsalita. Minsan kasi naiilang ka sa katabi mo, just dont mind them, focus ka sa Read Aloud, tapos dapat dahan dahan lang... Correct pronunciation. During exam, Smile. it really helps.

Sa explain the image/graph, 40 secs lang sya... dapat maiexplain mo lang ng mabuti kung ano yung nasa image/graph.

For example,

"The bar graph shown in the screen is the presentation of various research in (title) Population of England, in Year 2009,

The highest____ greatly increased/decreased in year....
The lowest___"

Parang ganyan....

Basta ako... nag beer ako, a nigh before exam hahaha! para makatulog ng ma ayos

@D.K.A.T tsamba lang po yan... hehehe.. nahihiya ako magbigay ng record.. hehehe.. Yung mga sample answers po from McMillan tsaka PTE Plus ganun lang po, not too short at timing.. yung false start lang po talga ang dpat iwasan tsaka tuloy tuloy lang ang pagsasalita para mataas yung oral fluency. sorry po talaga di po ako makapagbigay ng audio for now. baka po after two weeks pag nagpractice na po ako for target 20 pts... hehehe..he.

@greatsoul maraming salamat po sa tulong niyo, talagang hindi k po makuha ung speaking. Ginagaya k nman ung sample sa macmillan, pero di pa rin tlga pumapasa. Baka nagmamadali rin ako magsalita lalo n sa describe image kc pag binagalan k mawawala ung sasabihin k kc kya usually i ended up speaking for a short period of time, not even reaching 30secs. Kaya siguro big deal ung length ng sasabihin.

Salmat po sa input niyo practice ulit ako. Pero baka pwede po kau magsample ng speaking para may magaya kming laging bumabagsak sa speaking. Thanks po ng marami. Kung gaano kabagal/kabilis ang gusto k pong malaman.

@dorbsdee hehehe buti po kau nkachamba. Sana kami din haha pero paano po namin mchachambahan kung question mark pa rin ung speed,pacing, length ng speaking. Hehe.

Sana po ung ibang nkapasa n, share nman kau atleast a sample of actual read aloud, describe image, retell lecture. Laking tulong po tlga un sa amin.

1. kailangan din ba ma-determine mo kung may comma ang sentence?
2. ang months ba capital letter mag start or small? (e.g. October, December)

May tanong ako tungkol sa paid and scored practice exam ng PTE sa website nila. Yun bang 2 practice exams na scored, isang beses mo lang pwede i-take o kahit pauit-ulit? Salamat.

1. yung sample questions na kasama don sa Gold Kit nung PTE practice, pwede naman paulit-ulitin din?

2. kung Gold Kit ang i-avail sa PTE practice kit, one time pa rin ba yung scored exams o pwede na paulit ulit?

3. regarding PTE actual exam naman, may 2 booking charges - yung regular at late booking fee. kailan nila inaapply yung late booking fee? (ie: ilang days before exam yung considered as "late" booking)

@D.K.A.T Hello po! Ang tip ko po sa Read Aloud ay tuloy tuloy lang po yung basa nyo at wag masyadong malakas. Isipin nyo po yung parang nakikipagkwentuhan kayo sa officemate nyo pero ayaw nyo marinig kayo ng boss nyo. As much as possible po tuloy tuloy at di masyadong emphasized ang mga syllables. Ang target po kasi natin ay mapataas ang Oral Fluency.

@Skye24 d nga rin nagshushutdown ung mic kahit matagal kong iclick ung next, saka baka ung isang nagpapababa, di ko tlaga hinahabaan ung cnasabi k, nagmamadali pa ako kc baka maubusan ako ng sasabihin. At regarding nman sa malakas n boses hehehe, mejo un ang nagdagdag ng confidence k para ilakas k rin boses k kc nung ng mic testing ako nakukuha ng mic ung boses ng ibang test takers. Pero in fairness din sa knya parang newscaster/call center ung pagsasalita kaya parang nanliit ako hahaha. Smile lng ako ng smile kc minsan naaout of focus ako pero tuloy p rin. Chasing dreams at expensive din mag exam.

I took the exam last Nov 22 at sa wakas nakapasa rin ako. Eto scores ko, L-84 / R-69 / S-86 / W-76. Thank you sa lahat ng tips na nakuha ko dito, nakatulong talaga sa preparation ko.

Share ko lang experience ko during my 2nd take ng PTE-A exam. Schedule time ko is 9am pero pumunta ko sa Trident ng 8am pa lang para mauna ako makapagexam, pero may walo na pala nauna sakin hehe. Sa Reading section naubusan ako ng oras at hinulaan ko na lang yung last three questions. Nagtagal kasi ako sa fill in the blanks, kaya dapat i-manage talaga yung time sa pagsagot. Then sa Listening section, on the first part nung exam biglang nagloko yung marker ko ayaw na sumulat. Buti na lang mabilis si ate sa pagpalit ng marker hehe.

@D.K.A.T kelan mo balak magtest ulit? Omg pareho tayo ng problem. Hindi ko din alam yung tamang speed, volume and so on.

If review center will make it easier for you, then go for it. For what I heard, self study is sufficient enough. I think most review center offer limited number of hours only that you can attend, so not worth it for me here in the Philippines.

@Heprex thanks sa reply. I am a mother of 2 kids so i really need to spare a time to review, so i would decide sa review center ( in Dubai pala me) that offers 4 hours every week and that's during my work-off days for 6 weeks. God bless sa exams!

@cindyk un nga nasasayngan din ako sa bayad kc un ang part n laging failed. Eh kung mkipag usap nman tau cguro sa iba naiintindihan ang english natin. Bakit kaya c computer ang ilap haha. Review cguro muna ako ng mabuti. Nxt yr nlng at mejo hectic ngaun sa office. Closing ng books kya marami OT mahirap pagsabayin lahat. Baka by Feb n para kahit papano mpractice k ung sample n @jample ..

Kung mauuna k magexam at mkapasa na, share m ung technique m ha. TIA .. sana malagpasan n natin tong speaking n ito.
