Hi! graduate po ako ng Electronics & Communications Engineering(passed the board exam) but practicing Mechanical Engineer(manufacturing design) as a profession for 10yrs. Ask lang po ako kung may conflict po ba kung ang nominated occupation ko ay Mechanical Engineer(233512)?
Nag uumpisa na po kasi akong mag gather ng mga documents at Reference letter from my previous companies and I just want to make sure na nasa right mindset po ako sa umpisa pa lang. Salamat ng marami and God Bless.

Hi po, I'm still on my current job and my company is not supportive to give job description. How am I able to complete my assessment requirements to Engineers Australia, is there any alternative supporting documents I can use to support my nominated occupation? Thank u po

Congrats po kay @tweety11 for the DG kahapon.

Sino po dito ang nagpasa sa EA early January, may results na ba kayo?.
Nagpasa ako ng Jan 9, expected 15 days fast track kahapon. Pero wala pa sakin.

@austin_powers try asking for company letterhead from HR, tapos kaw na magprint ng COE with JD tsaka mo po papirma sa boss mo. Or kung ayaw magbigay ng HR nio ng blank letterhead, ask mo kung pwede sila na magprint nung ginawa mo.

@jansep hello po, magbibigay lang po ako ng input ksi same case tyo, binded ako sa company ko until now. sinabi ko po ito sa agent ko before magproceed sa application. Lahat po ng contract ko sa company from the start, yearly salary increase letter na andon yung position ko, binigay ko po, plus ITR and payslip for the last ilang years. Tapos po to get COE, nagrequest lng ako na gagamitin sa VISA Application. Kapag tinanong, sabihin ko lang na magbabakasyon, heheheh. Hindi ko po nakuha yung required na format na hinihingi ng agent ko pero nagkaCOE pa din ako. I hope makatulong.

@Teng10 mag lolog pa lang ako ng assessment sa EA, kelangan bang up to date ang mga COE? Nabasa ko na yung guidlines pero kelangan ko bang bumalik sa lahat ng employer ko para kumuha ng updated COE? Thanks.

@RADSONIC yung latest employer mo should have COE issued not more than 1yr. Tapos yung past employments nmn should be ok yung mga clearance and employment cert na binigay nila nun nagresign ka. How many years of employment are you claiming? All of them should have proof and it will boil down to your CDR.

Hello pinoyau folks! Lately ko lang nalaman na may nirerelease pa lang flagged occupations na pwedeng di na mainclude sa 2016-2017, I noticed na ang daming engineering professions ang kasama sa list, pero na research ko din na matagal na palang nasa flagged occupations karamihan sa mga engineering professions. Can you share your thoughts dito? What's the likelihood na wala na sa SOL yung nominated skills natin?

@Teng10 Thanks! actually, more than 12 years na ang experience ko.. lahat related sa electronics engineering descriptions ng ANZCO.. 4 lang na employers lahat ng yan, 2 years sa PH, 2 years sa UAE, then more than 8 years sa SG.. ang problema ko lang is yung 1 COE, walang description of roles nakalagay.. pero may offer letter ako.. pwede ko bang i-attach yung offer letter sa COE? Ilang pages ba usually ang COE per employer? Thanks nang madami!

@RADSONIC in my case..since 16yrs straight ako sa iisang employer dito sa Pinas..i asked for status of employment with details of my carreer progression and a sentence or two about the positions handled. Cheers!

magkaiba ung ang appointment letter sa employer reference letter. ung appointment letter is standard contract upon joining a company, normally wala tlaga un job description. Yes, you can obtain a statutory declaration from your manager/ superior stating at least 5 of your job description. alternatively, if you can get it printed with the company letterhead, then no need for stat dec.

hello. newbie here. I tried NZ unfortunately naabutan ako ng mataas na point requirement last october so now ill try my luck in Australia. Im trying to backread as much as i can at mejo na-ooverwhelm nko sa mga details and info. I'm a graduate from UPD - BS materials engg. Im currently working here in SG as an R&D engineer in a manufacturing semicon company. Nominated occupation ko - Materials Engineer.
(1) So first question -I have to take IELTS exam first before i apply for an assessment under CRD path?
(2) Do i have a similar profile here? Can anyone share their CPD and career episodes for my reference lang. Or if not, can someone guide me na lng with critical pointers in preparing the report?
(3) im in a defacto relationship- say i get invited, and unfortunately we dont have enough proof to backup our relationship - ano mangyayari - will the officer deduct the (5) points i initially claimed? or may iba pang consequence un sa application ko? We have a daughter that we will include in the application. Ano rin maging consequence nun for her and me?
(4) from what ive read so far, 60 min points to get invited - will my calculated 70 points (subclass189) or 75 points (subclass 190) be enough to get me an invitation or case to case basis sa nominated occupation?

Sobrang pagbaback read po ginagawa ko during my free time. sorry kung naulit itong question ko coz ive seen a lot already raised the same concerns. Thanks po.

@Xiaomau82 thanks sa advice. Wat if ayaw pirmahan ng immediate superior yung statury declaration? Ano n options ko? Yun kasi problema ko paano makakakuha ng ganung doc sa company. Baka hnd kasi nila supportahan visa application ko pag nalaman nila. Actually i intend din n wag ipaalam sa kanila. May other ways pa b?

(1) - Yes, IELTS is a must para makapag apply for assessment. Ang minimum score for assessment is at least 6 in all four modules. I guess nabasa mo na pero if not, read the MSA booklet. Lahat ng questions mo about EA assessment more or less masasagot neto:

(2) - I'm also working on a semicon company and I've had two roles na dineclare ko sa application ko. I was hired as an Equipment Engineer pero currently nasa Packaging ako, ang nominated skill ko is production or plant engineer since nacocover ng nominated skill na to yung job description ko for both roles. Ongoing pa assessment ko kaya di ko pa mashshare yung sakin, baka kasi sablay tas sa akin mo ipattern baka madamay pa kita hehe! Pero I can send you some of the samples na nakuha ko din dito sa forum, iba ibang professions nga lang

(3) - sorry pero no idea

(4) - Mataas ang 70 pts, sa pagkakaalam ko (sa kakastalk sa timeline ibang mga nandito din sa forum hehe) eh madali ka na makakakuha ng invite kapag ganun lalo na malayo pa sa occupation ceiling ang nominated skill mo. Pero then again, hindi ito guaranteed by the time na mag submit ka ng EOI mo

hanap ka ng pwedeng pumirma for u, kahit di mo supervisor as long as mas mataas sayo position tas alam nmn ginagawa mo sa work kahit pano.

Travel itinerary, bills/receipts (showing both you, your daughter and your partner's name), statements from relatives/family members/parents or siblings that testifies that you are partners and/or living together. Joint bank account. Pictures (travel pictures o any pics with you together). Try to have the docs certified para sure.
