Regarding sa scoring ng Multiple Choice Multiple Answers. Iba iba kasi ang explanation ng Pearson.

Yung first link, yun ang alam ko. Right minus wrong sa selected options mo.

Yung second link, dapat perfect ang sagot mo kasi pag di mo na-select ang dapat selected na option, negative point na yun.

@jaceejoef parehas lang naman yung sinasabi. Mas detailed lang yung sa tips. Ibig sabihin lang nung last part, pag di mo ni-select yung correct option, wala ka point na makukuha (same sa score guide, partial points for each correct response) . So let's say wala ka napili na tama tas may pinili ka na mali, -1 point ka.

let's say A B C ang correct options then D E ang incorrect options.

sa first, pag sinelect mo A and B, may 2 points ka na.
sa second, pag sinelect mo A and B, may 1 point ka lang kasi di mo sinelect ang C.

you will lose score points for any incorrect options. These include: options that you have clicked on as correct but which are wrong and options that are correct but that you have not clicked on.

@jaceejoef Masyado kang nagfofocus sa part na yan, nawawala ka sa context.

Clear sa part na "You will score marks for any correct options but you will lose score points for any incorrect options": plus points pag napili mo correct options, minus pag napili mo yung mali.

Perhaps you can check with Pearson itself for clarity's sake.

Edit: I'd be more inclined to believe the score guide rather than the tips for conflicting statements. Malamang magkaiba yung writers nyan.

@xiaolico Nag-enroll ako sa e2language and I can say na sobrang effective nung mga webinars and practice tests nila. Yung speaking, I can vouch na very effective yung mga templates dito. Tapos yung repeat sentence nila medyo nadalian ako, unlike nung mock tests na meron akong mga hinulaan na lang talaga. Tip ko lang dito e derecho lang kayo kahit mali yung nasasabi nyo. Tapos wag kayo papadistract sa lakas ng boses ng mga katabi nyo.

Sa writing naman, ang ginamit kong format sa essay e yung kay e2language na Opening Paragraph/Agree 1/Agree 2 or Disagree 1/ Conclusion. Tapos napansin ko nung first mock test ko, around 220 words lang ginawa ko sa essay tapos nagscore lang ng 78. Sa second mock test ko, ginawa kong around 290 words, naging 89 sya. So I guess mag aim na lang ng 270-300 words para siguro mataas yung makuha.

Medyo kinabahan ako sa reading kasi 69/79 lang ako nung mock tests e ine-aim ko talaga yung superior pero sinwerte naman ako. Sobrang nagmadali lang ako kasi ayokong maubusan ng oras kaso yung, meron akong natirang 12mins. Budget your time na lang para mamaximize nyo sya.

Sa listening, para sakin e mas madali to kesa mock tests. Focus lang talaga.

Eto yung scores ko sa mock/actual tests para makita nyo yung trend.

@jaceejoef as per E2 English there is no negative score kasi 0 ang minimum point na makukuha mo.

kung ang sagot is A and B and you selected A and C so one correct and one wrong so you will get zero point

if ever naman ang sgot mo is c and d so all wrong zero pa din ang point na mkukuha mo.

so correct minus wrong pero walang negative points.

@EverythingisAUsome Lagi lang akong nagrerecord ng read aloud tas ipaparinig ko sa iba. Tas papacomment ako kung meron ba silang di naintindihan o hindi malinaw dun sa recording ko. Tas moderate level lang ng boses siguro, hindi yung sobrang lakas. Napansin ko kasi dun sa mga kasabay ko e sobrang lakas ng boses samantalang ako e normal lang. Baka nakakaapekto din yun.

Hi guys, may access pa ako sa e2language at ptepractice until March 2017. Di ko rin nagamit yung 1 on 1 tutorial at mga study consultations ko sa e2language tas may mga practice questions naman din sa ptepractice. Baka lang merong may gusto bumili? Hehe. Syempre at a very discounted price naman.

What went wrong???? Nkakalungkot. Ang gnawa Ko lang sa Read aloud- smooth nman pagbasa ko, mga 25secs cguro tapos na ko magbasa then nag "next" button na Ko agad, then da describe image- sinunod Ko lang PO ung templates dto as in paulit ulit ang intro, fillers and conclusion, Repeat sentence- tagilid dhl d ko maalala tlga nawawala ako da concentration dhl maingay ung katabi ko then ung position Ng mic nsa baba ng bibig Ko. Ano po kayang mali??? Please help nman po thank u

@Giel Nasagot mo na sarili mong tanong hehe. Try to practice more yung repeat sentence. Sa mga maingay na lugar ka mag practice para matutunan mo din mag-block out ng mga ingay.

Sa read aloud - smooth na derederecho? Baka nakakalimutan mo mag pause sa mga relevant punctuations.

Also, since mababa ang OF and pronunciation mo, I suggest na i-compare mo yung pag pronounce mo sa words with those na native English speakers. Tignan mo kung ano mali sa pagkabikas mo. Bawasan mo din mga long pauses. Nag papause ka lang dapat sa commas, periods, semi-colons, etc.

@Giel Yung sa read aloud ko, hindi monotonous yung tone ko, parang nagkekwento lang yung pagsasalita ko. Tapos practice sa pagbigkas ng malinaw. Tapos ibuka mo yung bibig mo para clear na clear.

Sa repeat sentence, every commute to and from the office, nagpeplay ako ng repeat sentence excercises hanggang sa dumating yung point na nasasaulo ko na lahat ng sentences hehe. Tas kahit na di mo maalala yung words, improvise ka na lang basta tapusin mo yung sentence.

Describe image e effective naman yung template dito. Practice lang ng application.

I got 85 sa OF tas 90 sa pronun pero di talaga ako magaling mag salita in english.

@jemusu my listening score is not that impressive but I advice keep practicing lang, make your self used to the speed, accent and rhythm how native speakers speak then you will be fine during the actual test.
