457 Visa Dependent

Hi, question lang po, isa po akong dependent sa 457 visa, meron po akong Hepa B, based naman sa medical ng gf ko (primary applicant) walang test for Hepa B, and civil engineers kami. pero dun sa immiaccount, may tanong kung meron bang isa samen na may Hepa B, meron ba dito na same case samen?

@ohzie they will probably ask about your health insurance and health undertaking at the most.. Better write them an email enquiry para mas sigurado..

Hi ask ko lang po , pagba 457 dependent ka ng VISa pwede kadin mag apply khit saan ? khit anong work ? hndi kung sino ang nag sponsor sa main holder ng 457 VISA ? Thank you

@DreamerA Yes, you will be allowed to work in Australia with no restrictions tying you to a specific employer. However, if the employment of the primary holder ceases, hindi karin makakapagtrabaho.

@DreamerA option nila yun, especially kung gusto ka talaga nila, that way kahit mawalan ng work yung primary holder mo, pwede ka parin magwork.

20150224 - Provided Court Order in Lieu of Form 1229
20150301 - Dependents Visa grant
20150317 - Touchdown NSW

May tanong po ako. Pag po ba 457 visa dependent, pwede din maging primary applicant after few months? That is, if nasa SOL ang skills niya with all docs available?

May possible 457 po c hubby ko at isasama niya ako sa application. Once granted, mag-aaral ako..after that, balak po sana namin mag apply ng PR but this time ako na po ang main applicant at dependent naman hubby ko kasi ayaw na niya mag take ng ielts which will be expired soon. Pwede po ba yun?

@butterfly pwede naman na ikaw ang maging primary applicant since separate application naman yun. Pero since 457 yung husband mo, may possibility ba na sponsor sya ng employer nya for permanent residency? Kung oo, might as well grab na opportunity. Mababa lang ang ielts na kailangan for temporarty transition stream o yung naka 2 years na sa employer.

Thanks po sa sagot nyo. Hindi pa po kasi kami on 457 visa. Possible palang po. And since we cant wait for 2 years na ma PR thru transition stream ni hubby, balak sana namin na after few months on 457 visa, ako na mg apply for 189 visa as primary applicant and cia nman ang dependent ko. I'm just wondering kung pwede yun?

@apc Yes, kailangan ng police clearance for dependents ng 457 visa. Kumuha ng NBI clerance din ang wife ko and since she worked in singapore for 2 years, kumuha rin siya ng PCC dun. We attached it sa application.

@apc Dependent ko yung wife ko sa 457 visa.. Hindi na kami nag-attach ng NBI clearance nya sa application. Granted na yung visa namin nung feb. 2.

@apc baka depende sa CO kung require pa nf foreign police clearance kasi si marzky di na hinanapan.

pero eto yung nasa website ng DIBP re character requirement for 457 visa

Character requirements
You must meet certain character requirements. You must be prepared to provide a police certificate from each country you have lived in for 12 months or more during the past 10 years after you turned 16 years of age. Do not arrange for police certificates until we ask you to.

This also applies to all eligible members of your family unit in your application who are 16 years of age or older.

@ytyl.vash89 hi. Yes,you have full working rights.Baka may makapagbigay ng mas malinaw na explanationsa forum , but if you want to practice being a nurse, you have to be registered sa APHRA. Majority of the nurses coming from Pinas, nag bridging program muna as a requirement for registration. If you have APHRA registration now, pwede ka na mag apply. May mga aged care din o kaya disability support worker na pwede kaso baka hanapan ko ng certificate.

Siguro if you want to apply for a job, send an email sa prospective employer mo for clarification din.
