yup, wala masyadong impact ung CIA based sa experience ko, maybe a chance to get invited for an interview. Ang titignan tlaga nila jan is confidence mo, at the way you speak, thought process and past experiences mo during the interview process. I'm CIA and working towards my CA.

Guys, IA/ EA ako.. 1 month na kami dito sa Sydney ng family ko. Tama si @vhoythoy medyo challenging pag walang local experience. Dito sa Sydney marami din naman IA openings especially financial services, pero mas madami padin ang EA jobs.

By the way, sa mga interviews ko lagi nila hinahanap yung data analytics skill. Yung tipong marunong ka mag macros, spooling, etc.

hi po mga kabayan...i got my result of my assessment sa VETASSESS and it was negative. According to them, compliance dw ang work q but I was an IA for 5 years. My konting compliance audit functions (15%) aq nailagay sa reference letter but IA p dn nman ang primary role q. Pahelp nman po, ano po ba pde q gawin kc plan q magpareassess. I will revise my reference letter and bka pde po makahingi sa mga ngpositive ang assessment ng format at job descriptions for IA. Aside po s audit report, ano ano p po b mga docs ang nid q iprovide? Wala kc q back up ng email dati nung IA p q...Un n lng po kc ang kulang q, ung IELTS q ok nman ang result. Hope matulungan nyo po aq. Salamat po...;-)

Yup sa audit malaking bagay yan. dapat may alam ka sa pivot table, excel formulas like vlookup, etc. and sometimes paggamit ng aCL depende sa laki ng company. malaking data kasi ang I analyse mo

Ano ba exactly and job role mo and nasa descriptions. Iba kasi ung compliance audit and part ng compliance team/role. Dapat ma prove mo na you're part of Internal Audit team and doing internal audit work. Sa company kasi, usually may 3 lines of defence yan. 1st ung business units mismo who implements/ monitor the controls in place, 2nd line ung "compliance team/ legal team, and risk management team" ung nag challenge ng controls implemented by 1st line, guide in risk assessment workshop, etc. 3rd line ung IA na nagbibigay ng independent assessment/ assurance sa risk and controls. dapat ma proved mo na nasa 3rd line ka. dapat clear yan sa job role mo/ descriptions. Pagawa ka ng certificate of employment na may correct descriptions signed by HR and printed in Company letterhead.

Kung IA naman talga work mo explain mo nlang maige. Vetassess din kasi ako dati at same time kumuha ako PTA sa knila.

@vhoythoy nag appeal n po ung agent q kso they insisted na hindi dw highly relevant s IA kya reassessment n lng po tlga pag-asa q...aside po s COE at audit report, ano p po b pde q iadd as additional evidence na accepted nla? .... sir ng pm po aq s nyo... salamat po... ;-)

CIA certificate kung meron ka, payslip, job contract na may job descriptions, etc.
