Help us build a comprehensive and detailed “How to apply for visa”

edited July 2012 in Working and skilled visas

Alam ko po na parang spoon feeding ang nire-request ko pero it will help us a lot on saving time & money in preparing our documents.

####################
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
####################

EMPLOYMENT RECORD
1. COE with Job Description (Current & Past Employer)
2. COE with Salary Package (Current & Past Employer)
3. Character Reference (Current & Past Employer)
Note: All 3 documents can be combined in 1 letter or COE

EDUCATION RECORD
1. Certified true copy Transcript of Records
2. Certified true copy of Diploma
3. Certified true copy of Certificates & Seminars Attended

PERSONAL DOCUMENT RECORD
1. Certified true copy Birth Certificate (if applying with dependents e.g. wife & kids, provide also their Birth Certificate)
2. Certified true copy Marriage Certificate (if Married)
3. NBI Clearance (if Married, your partner should get clearance also)
4. Police Clearance (if principal applicant is working abroad, get clearance from the country you are working)
5. Medical Clearance (if Married, your partner should get clearance also)
6. Certified true copy of Passport Certificate (if applying with dependents e.g. wife & kids, provide also their passport)

####################
DIY STEP BY STEP APPLICATION
####################

Kailangan po ang tulong ng mga nag-apply online on their own to post the steps.

Yung mga nag-apply po dyan this July, please help us build a comprehensive and detailed “How to” para makapag-apply ng visa to AUS.

Salamat po.

    Thanks stolich18 for the info.

it depend on what visa are you going to apply (kung certified true copy or original ang kailangan ng immigration) at dipende din sa visa mo about sa medical. yung Number 10A to 10C para ito sa 457 skilled sponsor visa.

Sabi nga ng Immigration "The more documents you submit the better"

    The following documents are;

    01. Philippines Passport
    02. Assessment of your Philippines College degree/Career in Australia (Paki correct na lang ako)
    03. College School Records (CHED and DFA Aunthenticated)
    04. Training School Records (TESDA and DFA Aunthenticated) kung mayrun lang kayo na ganito for example mga software na enroll nyo sa mga training school)
    05. High School Records (DECS and DFA Authenticated)
    06. Elementary School Records (DECS and DFA Authenticated)
    07. IELTS (di na kailangan ipa DFA Authenticated)
    08. English Medium of Instruction (Request to Elem, High school and college, DFA Authenticated)
    09. Birth & Baptism Certificate (DFA Authenticated)
10A. Current CV or Resume attach with Certificate of Employment from first and Current Company (Certified by the legal attorney of Your City hall and DFA Authenticated) Sa Manila City hall ako nag pa Authenticated ng CV ko (CV ko lang attach with Employment certificate sa loob ng building im not sure kung 4th floor yun. tanung na lang kayo sa empleyado dun. ingat sa fixer.
10B. Australian Firm Contract (Request a copy Signed by employee and employer)
    12. Tax Certificate or income tax return from first and Current Company (Try nyo ipa DFA Authentication pero pag hindi Okay lang.
    13. Police Clearance (DFA Authenticated)
    14. NBI clearance (DFA Authenticated)

Hint; kung magsa-submit kayo ng documents ng certified true copy. maglagay kayo ng cover letter nakalagay dun ang table of content katulad ng nilagay ko number ilagay kung ilang pages in each document para maayus. at madaling makita ng CO. In each documents i stapler nyo or paper clip. then pagsamahin nyo sunud sunod lahat at lagyan ng double clip yung maliit lang. Para maayus at madaling hanapin ng CO. then puede na i courier. GOD bless

yun invitation po ay mangagaling mismo sa DIAC after mo mag submit ng EOI but subject to availability parin ng ceiling. (please see below link) http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/

medyo mahigpit ang competition ngayon kasi point system ang labanan, mas mataas ang points mas mataas ang ranking.. kung IT related ang a-applyan mong visa below is the new common process as per @stolich18:

ACS --> IELTS --> EOI --> Skill Select --> Invitation from DIAC to lodge visa

Note also na kahit mataas ang ranking mo tapos wala naman na din available spot sa ceiling eh "chances" are sa next round ka na mai-invite or next program year nila which is 2013-2014. yung EOI is valid for 2 years so if after 2 years at walang nag-invite syo for visa.. start ka na naman sa umpisa which is masakit sa bulsa... syang nga at naabutan tayo ng paghihigpit.. =(

:) Or pde rin sabay. Bsta kelangan pag nagapply ng EOI, meron na kayo ng qualifications na kailangan to obtain the number of points that you need.

Are you claiming points for your spouse?
If spouse mo sya, no need for proof of how long you've been together. For de facto partners lang ito. :)
For your spouse, make sure you secure his/her diploma and Certification of English as the medium of instruction during College. Para no need to take English courses in Australia, required kase ito kapag wala kang proof ng kanyang English language ability (and that is either through IELTS or through this certification). Hope this helps. Thanks!

Does it really need to be DFA Authenticated? From what I read in the DIAC website, it just needs to be notarized... Now I take it na pwede notary public can do it.

I think yung post ni @TotoyOZresident above is preference nya lang na if pwede na ipa-authenticate sa DFA then do it. Yun nga lang extra gastos yun.

But as you've said, I also agree na mag-suffice na yun notarized certified true copy nung documents. Yung guidelines kasi posted sa DIAC & ACS generic lang.. they stated only "Certified".

But I've read a very interesting point here before regarding sa CTC ng school records.
Nakalimutan ko na kung sino nag post, pero ang sabi nya sa school nya din pina-certify yung school records nya like transcript, then he have it singed & dry sealed by the school. Which is a valid point.

On the other hand, meron naman din mga nag-submit ng mga docs nila including school records na pina-notarized lang nila which is accepted naman din. Siguro naman kung me problem sila if notarized lang yung docs & di naman nila tayo kaagad outright na i-disqualify or bigyan ng mababang score without clarification.

Sa school mo makukuha yung certificate of medium of instruction, if you can't get it at your school then you need to take IELTS (Para sa mga dependents po ito 16 or 18 yrs old and above if I'm not mistaken and sa mga college undergrad)

hello guys! newbie here..clarification lang po regarding sa COE and resume. ako kc gagawa ng COE tapos papasign ko lang sa boss ko, do i have to list all the positions i held in the company or ung pinakalatest lang? 5 years na kc ako sa company ko and syempre ngstart ako sa entry level. same with resume, ililist din ba lahat ng positions held for the same company? thanks! hope you enlighten me.

another question pa po, para po sa mga na-aassess na (july 2012) at nakapaglodge na ng visa application @psychoboy and glaiza, is it ok na certified copies lang from the university ang usubmit or kelangn ipanotorize pa?

    thanks!

On your first question; better list all your positions and responsibilities...

If the certified copy from the university contain a name of a specific person, it should suffice... :)

I am a secondary applicant - I took my IELTS as well.

From what I can see, you are the primary applicant am I right? I think you really need to take the IELTS.
