@joyz you could ask for generic COE, then if you're in PH - make an affidavit with job desc then sign it by your Team Lead or whoever is senior to you (if in case no response still from your IT manager). Never ever make any false claim to any of your documents - if let's say ACS successfully assessed your qualifications but then when you lodge your visa later on and DIBP found out, that would be much risky (and costly).

@SAP_Melaka pag nakahingi ako ng generic COE then gagawa nalang ako ng affidavit na may Job description papermahan ko sa I.t manager kahit wala na letter yong affidavit?

@joyz As far as I know, yes. Though I haven't experienced that but from what I read since I joined here, some just created another affidavit with job description and signed by manager due to strict policy of their HR. And yes, no company letterhead since affidavit is a legal document which has a template. Maybe others could confirm?

yes, inde na need ng company letterhead. parang statutory declaration na ung mangyayari. so inde mo lang dapat basta papirmahan sa it manager mo. dapat in the presence kayo ng notary public or lawyer.

I just got my assessment Ano po ba yung accepted number of assessed # of years sakin as a software engineer 1yr and 1 month or 3 yrs? Eto yung letter :

@joyz I did the same thing. One of my previous companies does not provide COE with JD so gumawa lang ako ng Stat Dec and had a superior sign it. No need for it to be on a company letterhead. Just make sure to include contact details of your superior in the document and to have this document notarized.

@pmond based sa result na binigay sayo ng ACS, 1 yr 1 month lang ang relevant experience na pwedeng maclaim for points kasi sabi "after November 2015".

so far wala pa akong naencounter na walang bawas, usually 2 years ang binabawas.. or more..

Hi Guys, Tumawag ako sa IT Manager ko at gagawa nalang ako ng certificate with job description with company letterhead na po at perpermahan nalang daw po nya. pwede po ba yon IT Manager ko nalang peperma? simpleng certificate lang sya na naka letterhead. salamat

@jarvz IMHO Better to follow the affidavit/statutory declaration format if it's going to be signed by your IT manager. Same thing lang naman, just make sure to have it notarized after mapirmahan. Make sure your IT Manager's contact details are also in the Stat Dec under his name/signature and also get a copy of your IT Manager's ID kasi may ibang notaryo na humihingi nyan. It would also be good to include that sa documents na upload mo.

I think pag company letterhead, they expect that this was created by your HR which in this case, it was not. Baka magkaproblema ka pa.

@jarvz Kung papayag yung HR head niyo na pipirma sya sa certificate na gagawin mo then baka pwede din yun. Pero di ako sure kasi hindi yan yung normal na gnagawa. Wait din natin siguro input ng iba. Most people kapag hindi naglalagay ng JD ang HR eh gumagawa tlga ng affidavit signed by a superior. In my case, tinuloy kong humingi ng COE sa office kahit walang JD tapos nagpasign na lang ako ng stat dec sa manager ko tapos pinanotarize ko.

regarding salary, no need na nakaindicate sa COE.

hello po ulit!

we have received the result of our acs assessment and thank God, 4 yrs lng ang deduction sa work experience ni hubby and his education has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing.

ang tanong po namin is, his employment that is considered and suitable for his nominated skill is after April 2012 and his EOI has been submitted today by our agent. so by May 2017, madadagdagan bah kami ng 5 points? kasi by then magiging 5 years na work experience nya. tama po bah?

and what if po by June 2017, he will be promoted but still under the same company, need po bah kaming magpa assess ulit sa acs? and by that another bayad na naman?

nagbabawas talaga si ACS dependent sa education mo. reason is that as a fresh graduate, you are not expected to be able to perform duties at a "skilled" level. so yung initial years mo is ung learning years. binababaan lang nila ung deduction kung related ung naging education mo.

pwede naman ganito. actually ganito ung ginawa ko sa isang company na pinagtrabahuhan ko. kailangan lang i-note na andun ung contact details ng manager since sa kanya tatawag to confirm instead na sa HR. at siyempre, dapat naka-CTC din.

@studio719 ganito nalang option ko baka pwede po. ako nalang gagawa ng COE para less hassle na sa HR, naka indicate na lahat JD. pero naka print din naman with letterhead ng company. ok na po ba yon?

@jarvz Hello! Share ko lang kung paano ko ginawa yung sakin.

Ako gumawa ng job description, then pinaka-check ko siya sa manager. When i requested COE sa HR, inattach ko siya, then yun ang nilagay nila sa COE. Si HR pa rin ang nagprint and nagsign.
