Hi.. i have been a silent reader in this forum, would appreciate your advise on this ... I have been trying to arrange our papers for visa 189 or 190. I have just received the assessment from cpa australia that I am academically suitable for migration. However, they are still looking for the duties and responsibilities for 3 of my listed jobs for the skilled migration assessment. Can I file the EOI while arrangibg for these other requirements? Or do I need to wait for the result of my skilled assessment first?

@Ruzella You may file your EOI now, provided that you will not claim points for your work experience since you do not have a positive skills assessment from CPAA yet. You can later on edit your EOI once you have the positive CPAA result. Pero kung di rin aabot ng 70+ up without work experience ang points mo, better wait na lang. Anyway, filled-up na rin ata ang ceiling for this year.

good day

question lang po regarding sa 2nd installment. may nabasa na ako regarding this dko lang matandaan kung saang topic. i-confirm ko lang ulit.

im applying for 189 visa (accountant general). isabay ko na din sana hubby and daughter ko. then i saw this (attached photo) from this link:

may nabasa ako dito before na ang ginawa nila was nag request sila ng certification from the school ng spouse nya na english ang medium of instruction na gamit nila. tinaggap naman daw.

any feedbacks regarding this one po?

@jerm_au16 Wow! Congrats! How long did you wait for the result? I submitted mine last April 10 and I called yesterday to check but the assistant said the result is not yet available.

@jhyll you are only required to pay the 2nd installment, if your dependent cannot provide proof of functional English.

It depends on the CO. Most of them accepts the CEMI together with diploma and TOR. But other CO does not, so the dependant applicant need to take English exam.

@clzap I received the result exactly 15 days after I submitted the last required document. I pleaded many times for them to release the result a day or 2 days earlier in time for april 12 invitation round, but they didn’t. But anyway, I got positive result. Good luck on your assessment 

hi point , is there any chances for non-cpa's to have an approved assessment or to be invited? Two agents na kc nilapitan ko, at nung sinabi ko na i'm not CPA yung isa di na nagreply at yunng isa sabi Canada lang daw ako pwd., any similar experiences as mine?wala ba tlgang chances for non-cpa to go to AU?

@kenneth_rona22 Yung board rating, pwede makuha agad within the day. Last month kumuha ako, pinili ko priority, kaya nagbayad ako additional fee. 200 yata. Nakalimutan ko exact amount na binayad ko

@KHIM im not a CPA, and at this point, im only waiting for visa grant

may mga guidelines sila on how they will assess your qualifications as comparable to australia bachelor's degree. It depends on your school section also. If section 1, i think automatic cya even non-cpa. If section 2 nman, you should be a cpa or should have a gpa more than 80 or 2.00 or at least completed 200 units. Goodluck. @KHIM hi... hnd po ako CPA. in fact i am BS FMA grad. hnd nga ako complete s accounting subjects. Audit and advance accounting subj d ko n nkuha. Positive nmn assessment sakn ng CPAA. My school is section 2. ok lng yan. points nmn ang basis nila for invitation e. Though waiting p ko ng invite

@jillpot thanks! Sobrang thank you sa forum na ito andami ko nakuha inputs from pte to assessment to visa lodge hehehe. Insipiration ko din kyo na masisipag sumagot sa mga tanong ng mga tao kya nga ensure ko din na pag may mga kakaibang case na relate ako e tlgang nagbbgay din ako ng inputs

Hi everyone! Super appreciate all the info and feedback available sa forum na ito.

I might have missed it, but meron na bang nakatry magappeal/re-evaluate ng scores sa PTE? Nagsubmit nako EOI at 65pts plng so nagretake ako PTE for addtl 10pts sana. Unfortunately, kulang ako isang point sa Speaking para 79! All the rest mataas naman enough. Any advice?

@maren1026 @jerm_au16 thanks sa reply., section 2 pla yung school ko, and i have total 248 units., yung units ba na 200 accounting subjects lang ba or including minor subjects.

@maren if you dont mind what do you mean by gpa?
