AIQS ASSESSMENT

Hello po. Newbie here po. Hindi ko po alam if may topic na related sa AIQS assessment, pero gusto ko lang pong malaman if may nakapag pa assess na sa AIQS. Mahigpit po ba talaga sila, especially if di naman quantity surveying ang degree mo instead eh Civil Engineering?

Any inputs or suggestions po are highly appreciated. Maraming salamat po in advance.

Update ko lang po tong thread, not suitable ang result ng assessment ko sa AIQS.

@nikath same situation sa kakilala ko. licensed CE sa pinas but practicing QS. kaso not suitable yung assessment sa kanya. nagtataka lang ako kasi ako civil din pero suitable ang assessment sa kin.

@Jacraye confirm ko lang if kung tama, CE ka pero QS exp mo, tapos positive ung assessment mo sa AIQS? Magtry din kasi friend ko, iniisip namin if AIQS sya or mag EA.. thanks!

@aipangan yep, CE with QS experience. Make sure you comply with the following:-

job title & description in COE and CV - needs to be consistent
his supervisors are qualified QS - meaning may degree sa AU or member ng QS organization like AIQS or affiliate such as RICS, SSIV (singapore), NZIQS (new zealand), etc. Take note that being a member does not mean 100% success in migration assessment. May mga kakilala ako na member ng AIQS pero failed sila sa assessment.
the school where he graduated from is listed under Section 1 Institutions of (CEP) Country Education Profiles of the Philippines - based sa nabasa ko dito binabase kung yung school mo is comparable of Australian Qualifications. In my experience and based on experiences of my colleagues, laging 2 & 3 yung sablay nila. yung 1 naman kasi mareremedyohan yan. pero yung 2 and 3 mahirap. Kaya my advice would be take AIQS assessment if pasok ka sa 2 & 3 if not mag EA na lang.

ang advantage lang naman kapag member ka ng AIQS and magpapa-assess ka is sobrang mura. roughly 3x cheaper.

@Jacraye; sir ask ko lang po. if ung supervisor ba is naging MRICS nung 2017 lang. ung experience ko ba na from 2013 till date is mababawasan din as per dun sa date ng pagka MRICS ng supervisor ko? thanks

hi @duane. Sa tingin hindi makakaapekto yun. Nung time na nagpa-assess ako, I claimed for 3yrs QS experience pero yung manager ko that time 2yrs pa lang cya MAIQS. Naging suitable naman yung assessment sa akin.
