Going to OZ via Singapore Airlines

Hello po! Ask ko lang if okay mag Singapore Airlines I'm going to Canberra. I'm coming from manila, then nag check ako ng flights may layover sa Singapore then Canberra na. Wala kasi ako makita na direct flight papuntang Canberra. Ayoko kasi ng madaming layover and mag papalit-palit ng airline. And nabasa ko sa mga discussion na if galing singapore mahirap sa immigration/custom ata? Thank you so much!

@chefy101 no experience pa. pero iba naman ang domestic at international terminal so malamang sa sydney ka lang dadaan ng immigration.

Hi @chefy101. Napa-google tuloy ako. =) I didn't know na may direct international flights ang Canberra. Apparently, meron since Sept 2016 lang.

Manila to Canberra via Singapore nakita kong flight. With layover of 2:40hrs.

From Manila, you can checkin your luggage direct to Canberra. Sa Singapore, di ka na dapat dumaan ng immigration. On arrival, kung di ka mag-iikot-ikot sa magandang airport ng Changi, you can go directly to the boarding gate ng flight papuntang Canberra. On arrival sa Canberra dun mo na makukuha luggage mo. And before you smell the Canberra air, dadaan ka muna sa immigration ng Australia to explain your visit/stay.

Ito contact details ng Singapore airlines sa pinas.

@chefy101 . Try mo rin use websites like 1) https://www.skyscanner.com.ph/ and 2) https://www.expedia.com.ph/ to see what your options are. May mga flights combinations like PAL+VirginAustralia na possibly cheaper than just a single Airline flight like SQ all the way... if you have the proper visa documentation para sa trip mo, I think you shouldn't worry too much about immigration... Since visitor visa ka, as I know you will have to buy return tickets. Can't be one way since di ka resident/citizen. All the best sa yo.
