@cacophony I'm sorry if my statement may have implied such but no, you can't claim points solely in the basis of belonging to a section 1 school. What I meant was assessing bodies are more lenient to applicants who have degrees from section 1 schools. If you don't mind, how what's your breakdown of that 55 points?

@nit@sirk madami din hininging 3rd party documents sakin at the time. I provided NOA from IRAS and scanned Employment Passess (B&W din, wala naman problem basta accdg to standards nila ang resolution) And accdg pala kasi sa MSA Booklet (p28) need may company name dun sa mga 3rd party documents. Under agency ka ba? How abt yung sa pass mo, wala din bang company names? You can file an appeal, andun din sa MSA Booklet ang procedure. Sorry not sure ako sa procedure nito..maybe someone in the forum can guide you more.

to shed light on this issue, kung saan applicable ang sectioning ng schools, let me expound based on my experience during assessment...

    1. kung section 1 ang school mo pagkatapos nag pa assess ka sa EA, the outcome (positive/negative) will depend on how well you presented your CDR.
    2. the school section will only apply to the edducation qualification according to AQF, pag section 1 at ma meet ang number of units required for the course, then kung bachelors degree ka bigay nila bachelors degree then. it is important kasi mag declare ka ng points sa education level.

What I know is nagtaas din ang profession nyo nang required points.. Apir!!

@nicstee hello. Eoi lodge pa dn po ako. Ceiling na occupation tpos pro rata pa.. so as of this time e wala ko mashare na valuable input :p

THANK YOU SO MUCH PO! ;-)

I provided COE from HR (generic ref letter) + reference letter (with letterhead) signed by my supervisor with my duties.

mali ba sinubmit ko na docs? should i follow option 3 instead?

Dun sa option 1, may binabanggit na "Be endorsed by the manager/direct supervisor of HR/Section" dpat ba yung reference letter na may duties, si HR ba dapat ang pipirma hindi ang supervisor?

I'm confused na, nag-iisip pa ko ano irereply ko sa assessor ko for further queries.

Please help to advise naman what to do next.

@tarajen walang naging problema sa Pass na sinubmit ko. mis-representation of reference letter ang explain sa kin ng assessor ko bakit di nya kinonsider as relevant.

I did submitted COE signed by HR (generic, only position and start/end date of service lng nakalagay) + Reference letter with duties signed by my supervisor (with letterhead), yun kasi yung mostly na nabasa ko dito sa forum na sinubmit nila, (correct me if i'm wrong)

pero parang di nya in-accept yung reference letters signed by my supervisor, dpat daw naka-affidavit

    @nit@sirk pm sent!
Option 1 ref. Letter with complete details of employment signed by Hr.
I think dapat mo ifollow option 3 which is affidavit..kasi supervisor ang nagsign ng letter..better xgro gawa ka ng affidavit na lang..ano email mo..meron ksi ako ginawang affidavit..pwede ko bigay sayo as sample...

Just received an updated status on my application early this morning from Queued for Assessment to Assessment in-Progress. After few minutes, the status changed to Awaiting Applicant's Response. EA requested Employment Contract or Residence Permit on one of my work experience. After submitting the said documents, few minutes later, I received an outcome letter from EA. Positive Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience!

    Thank you Lord! :)

P.S. I applied non fast track CDR+RSEA last April 24 and got the outcome June 29, 2017.

    Good am guys!!
    Need your advice lng..

I work here in the phils as a maintenance/production engineer in a multi national company.. and just recently applied for Production engineer qualification at EA ..

Just today, i received a response na ung mga career episodes ko ay pasok sa engineering technologist and not for production engineering.. its my option to create new Carreer episode or shift to engineering technologist. Same PR 189.

    Please advice po..

@meanmullet hindi po sir, putol putol po siya. may 2 short work experiences po ako na hindi clinaim. bale its a combination of a 22 months+ 12 months + 11 months po na relevant skilled employment experiences ang nacredit po ni EA which are the same work experiences that I have declared. Although, I indicated on my CV the ones that I did not claimed. I did not submit any documents as well on the experiences that I did not claimed.

Take note po na u have 1month to finalize the new episodes. ensure nyo din po na u align ur responsibilities as per anzsco description para magrant as prod'n engr.

A couple of members here also told me that irrelevant na yung assessment sa kung anu man ang magiging carreer ko dsa OZ kasi not necessarily na sundin ko ung EA assessment occupation.. tama po ba? Thank you sir.

    Thanks guys!!!

@ivandemarco for migration purposes lang po yun EA assessment, once you're in AU, you are on your own to take whatever path you want. However, if you are also aiming for membership or charter status as a Prof Engr with EA, then you need to be assessed as Prof Engr as the assessment is integral with the membership :) otherwise you can still be a member or a chartered engineer as an engineering technologist. goodluck
