@Heprex kunti na lng. writing and speaking mo. Gumamit ka ng template sa writing? I suggest kong magtemplate ka try to use academic collocation as much as possible. Yung template I tweak mo lng ng kunti para ma kapasok mga academic collocation sample below
sa intro paragraph:

These days, there is an ongoing global debate between people about___.
Most of them widely believed that ____ is beneficial to wider society.
While significant number of the opposition contradict with their standpoint.
In this essay, I shall provide insights into both sides of this compelling argument.

academic collocations are:
widely believe
wider society
significant number
compelling argument

still you should be flexible baka di applicable sa topic na mapunta sau.

@MissOZdreamer not only in essay sa lahat ng template na ginagamit mo. kasi yun lang ang chance na di mo malimutan mag include the collocation.
sa describe image mag include ka, sa re tell lecture mag include ka din. big factor na for vocabulary points yun.

feeling ko nga yung template ko sa describe image na may acad collocation nakatulong ma increase speaking ko from 66 to 79. at vocab ko from 57-84. that time describe image lang ako gumamit ng template.

kaya try ko this take mag template din sa re tell lecture at essay with inclusion of acad collocation.

funny thing is lahat ng describe image ko I use the same conclusion haha. kasi madami collocation doon. wala na kasi ako masabi may time pa kaya conclude lng ng conclude.

@MissOZdreamer anytime. na share ko na yang describe image ko before and madami nag feedback na effective daw last year ko pa kasi yan gamit. Pa share din ng re tell lecture mo baka mas maganda.

@MissOZdreamer hello, for reading. Nag babasa ako ng isang sciencedaily kada araw, di naman masakit sa oras kase 2 mins lang naman. Sa re-order, yung sinabi ko kanina. Sa mtls naman, pte gold, practice pag feel ko. Other mtls naman, is I kept reading yung mga nssearch sa google. Example, nag search ako real exam question sa reading, kung ano lumitaw, binabasa ko, ang aim ko is maintindihan ko yung topic na lumalabas. May beethoven akong topic sa FITB, classical music. Heheh

Edit: And ayun, tama si @batman, familiarize sa collocations. Hinahayaan ko mag play yung nasa youtube. Para masanay ka na maganda pakinggan yung dalawang word pag narinig mo.

@Heprex share ko lang... sa listening ko, nakatulong sa kin ung pakikinig sa bbc news everyday pagka gising and while having breakfast. Pansin ko sa mga practice tests ko sa pte gold, mejo nag improve ang score ko. Siguro kasi feeling ko dun sa audio ng listening eh nakikinig lang ako sa bbc news.hehe ininstall ko ung app ng bbc news sa phone ko tas meron dun LIVE. Play lang un tas ayun para na syang radio. Ok din kasi nagiging updated ako sa world news

wow ang taas ng speaking mo @Heprex. Yan yun pinakachallenge ko. I also need to get superior. 3rd take ko last april. naka 75 nako sa speaking at yung reading ko 74. konti nalang para maka 79. Gumamit ako ng template sa speaking, nagimprove naman scores ko. Yung oral fluency ko pinakamababa eh. Yung lakas kaya ng boses ang problema? Thanks

@dval Hello, based sa exp ko, sa lahat ng take ko, parang yung read aloud ang may pinaka malaking impact. Sa lahat ng take ko, I messed up either, Describe Image, Retell Leture, or repeat sentences, pero still manages to reach 79+. Sa describe image ko last take, puro picture, like compare mo yung flag ng Jordan at UAE, ang ginawa ko na lang, just let it flow, kung ano gusto mo sabihin. Ang never kong ginawa is mag 'um' or 'ah'. Sa 3rd take ko naman, yung retell lecture ako nakawawa, as in, yung dalawang re-tell lecture ko, tulala ako, pero umabot pa din sa 79+, pero bagsak naman sa Listening, kase wala ako content na nasabi. Tanda ko pa pag kakasabi ko nun, 'This is a great lecture', ' The speaker aim to educate the people about (1 word keyword), tapos conclusion agad. Hehehe. I normally finished one item 20-25 sec.

@Heprex Thank you! Yung describe image talaga yung pinakachallenging for me dati. Nung gumamit ako template nagingbok scores ko. Siguro nga I need to work on read aloud na madalas ko lang isantabi. Kasi affected pala reading and speaking nun. Pati yung kung ilang secs I need to practice that. Ang hirap tanchahin pag status bar lang eh.

Gumamit po ako ng templates nung 2nd take ko and ung flow is ok nman. Factor po ba ung lakasan ang boses? naintimidate kc ako sa katabi ko ang lakas ng voice baka sya nalng mapickup ng mic ko. Nung 1st take ko normal voice volume lang ako kaya nung 2nd take ngtry ako lakasan. Pero sobrang baba pa din ng speaking scores ko. Anu po kaya ang problema kasi nagrerecord nman ako clear nman.

Good thing mayroon tong forum nato. bighelp talaga.

@greenapple Hi, hindi naman po ba kayo nauubusan ng time or masyadong maikli un time nyo for speaking? Minsan po ganun ata, nun first take ko po kasi masyadong maikli lang yun mga nasasabi ko sa desc image.

@greenapple did you check your mic carefully bago k nagstart ng exam? minsan kc ung ung nagiging problema.

S volume ng voice, dapat ung tamang level lng and try to maintain that level all throughout the speaking test. try to do some facial exercise to improve your pronunciation. Ung mga prepositions n usually hnd ntn napapansin dapat dn eh pronounced properly - is, the, there, etc. know when to replace "s" sound with "z".

Gamit k ng apps with speech recognition. Goodluck
