@batman masterin mo lang po yung template mo kasi yun na yun e. ibig ko bang sabihin, yan na ang babanggitin mo sa recording, lagyan mo na lang ng data yung mga blanks.

@batman aww anong nangyari sa speaking? Oral fluency? Baka sa speed ng pag salita mo. Medyo mabagal ka ba mag salita?

Di pa ako makapag record ng sample ko, hehe wala akong mic. Pero medyo mabilis ako mag salita.

@batman Bro baka dahil sa way ka magsalita? Mabilis ka magsalita? Nagsstop ka sa mga comma, period, etc? Pronunciation din? Yung mejo tumataas sa ilang parts ng sentence?

@batman question bro, how convinced are you regarding the use of a template? This might sound weird, wag mo kaya gamitin

. Naisip ko kasi, like for example you say the speaker talks about.... pag Hindi nabasa ng machine to sa isang item, most likely Hindi pa din niya mababasa to for the succeeding items. Try mo Kaya different templates per item? Like sa item 1, you can say the speaker.... tas sa item 2, gamitin mo naman, the talk was about... suggestion Lang naman. I didn't use any templates kasi and I'm pretty sure you know your templates really well. Baka it's time to mix it up a little?

@xiaolico During my second PTE test I use template in describe image. It works just fine. I got 79 in speaking. I think I have problem with my oral fluency and pronunciation that made my scores that low. I changed my pacing in talking I made it a little slower than the previous exam.

@batman Bawi sa next. Ang hirap talaga tanchahin nyang OF, sakin consistent OF 60 PR 70 tapos score ko 75. Sa unang take ko OF 60 PR 65 score ko S - 63. Nabasa ko lang din, dapat daw consistent ang phasing mo all throughout speaking test. I'm not sure if yun din ginawa mo. Also, napansin mo ba if pasok sa time lahat nung speaking mo or meron lumagpas at di na nacapture ng mic or too early ka natapos?

hi @xialico, got hubby's result yesterday and we did not get our desired scores, need to re-take again. his lowest is on the speaking part which is 45 only. but in the mock exams he always get 70++ on that. wondering what went wrong:( sayang 3 lng dw clang examinees nun.

@cp101030 honestly, sobrang baba nung 45. Baka mic problem? All the rest of the parts, did get higher scores? Just an advise, when it comes to PTE, always remind your husband, don't be discouraged. Hindi deal breaker ang PTE. Di naka taya and Aussie dream niyo sa PTE. Unli takes yan and it will not affect your application din, kahit a million takes pa Kayo niyan. Unfortunately, pera naka taya diyan pera. So ipon and take Lang ng take. If you need any advice regarding the exam, just ask Lang. You guys will make it. Don't worry

@cp101030 hi po, sobra bang different nung mock (PTEPractice) vs dun sa actual test? Don't worry po, practice makes perfect eka nga, try ulit!

Also, yung "computer" ba na nag sscore dun sa mock (PTEPractice) is the same "computer" na mag ggrade dun sa actual exam?

share ko lng ulit ung experience ko s exam. s tignin ko madali lng makakuha ng low score s OF. nung ako, i was doing good all throughout the speaking test,
until dumating dun s ISAng retell lecture/describe image where i stopped for few seconds dahil n balanko tlga ako.
Thats the only time (i think) na nagkamali ako s speaking. end result, i got 69 in OF, but I still got 87 s speaking.

I always record pla ung s speaking ko. then i ask other people to evaluate without giving them the script just to check kung nagets nila ung topic and kung lahat ng words b eh naintndhn dn.
I also self evaluate... meron ung time n nagrecord ako ng read aloud, i thought tama ung pacing ko, pero nung plinay ko n, sobrang bagal ko pla magsalita and noticed n ang haba ng gaps between words n parang my period in between. d ko alam kung bakit prang slow mo ung recording, pro inadjust ko nlng ung pacing ko.

s spelling usually nadadali ako s essay. kya i alot 2 minutes to review my work kc mukang bawas points dn pag my mga mali.

@jerm_au16 Thanks sa pagshare po. Appreciate it much. May question po ako, nung nagtest po ba kayo ng mic bago magstart kasing lakas po ba ng recording from pte ung boses nyo sa playback? Napansin ko lang po, mahina ung boses ko mung nagplayback ako sa mic testing.

@dval mas malakas ung voice over ng Pte/computer compare s boses ko. pro ung volume and clarity ng voice ko hnd nmn dn ganun kahina. ung tamang volume lng. ikaw mag aadjust s volume ng boses mo. basta masatisfy k n clear at "malakas" ung audio mo, then u r good to go.

Take time s pagtest ng mic and ung volume ng boses mo. don't care if it will take you 15 minutes or so. Nung ako, hnd tlga ako tumigil until i was satisfied. tsaka, pinatapos ko clang lahat ng speaking part before i started mine. minsan kc narerecord dn
voice ng ibang examinees.

@batman sorry to hear about what happened. Wag ka po mawawalan ng pag-asa at wag ka susuko. Tuloy tuloy lang ang laban. Hindi tayo magpapatalo sa PTE na yan. Kaya go go go lang. Try mo mag install ng bbc news app sa phone mo tas click mo ung LIVE. Para lang magka idea ka pano sila mag pronounce ng words and phrasing. Though hindi pa din ako confident masyado sa speaking. Wala akong idea kung ano na OF and pron ko.

@MissOZdreamer thanks for the moral support. By the way I did well in my essay. I got 90 in written discourse. My essay topic was "what is the pressing global problem we are facing today?"

I was not ready for opinion essay, what I was prepared for was argument essay. So what I did, I just mentioned two pressing problem, over population and climate change, and followed the argument essay format...

Like some people widely believe that its climate change.
Opposing side believe its over population.
