Hi guys, Have many of you been called for an interview after lodging your student's visa? or been asked to submit more evidence? How did you argue that you are sure to come back to the Philippines? How did you argue that the school that you want is far better than in the Philippines? Sorry daming tanong!

Hi guys, do I need to purchase OSHC before I even submit an application to the school? Can it be cancelled if not successful? Thanks for sharing.

@mcg143 my uni got my oshc for me. they got me one before i got my CoE. upon payment of the tuition before ka mabigyan ng CoE, they noted sa email if i wanted to look for my own insurance. didn't bother anymore and just paid the tuition right away kasi hinahabol na ang oras. they got me an insurance from Allianz naman which I always see on here so that was good na as well.

so in answer to your question, no need for the OSHC upon application sa school muna. u can get that later na. after the GTE assessment of your school sau.

tanong lang po pag po ba nanghingi embassy ng additional documents ibig sabihin yung hinihingi na lang po nila ang iccheck nila or start ulit ng bagong assessment at maassign ulit sa bagong case officer?

Hi guys, I'm new in this thread. Initially, working visa inapplyan ko. However, mataas ang required score na kailangan to get an invite.

Now, I would like to consider to apply for student visa instead, aral muna para magamay ang culture sa AU.

If it's ok, pede po ba makahingi ng tips on how or where to start applying for a student visa.

@ClmOptimist consult IDP or AECC. their services are free. they'll assist you in everything na. u can also discuss with them kung anong possible pathways u can take.

@reah cheers25 hasnt been online since 2015. lol i believe same procedure lang sa lahat regardless of what country you're in now. may IDP jan sa Dubai. u can avail of their services din for free.

Hello po. Bago lang po sa dito sa forum. Hingi lang po sana ng advise regarding sa pathway na kukunin namin. Si misis po mag-MBA sa Melbourne with 40 hours every fortnight while ako po daw as dependent can work unlimited hours. Yun work po ba is any type of work? Waiter, Bartender, odd jobs or white collar pwede? And mahal po ba ang tax sa Melbourne compared to Sydney or Perth? Salamat po.

@danyan2001us @agentKams thank you for the feedback. I have friends in Melby now, close family friends in Sydney and my brother is based in Perth. Medyo nag-iisip kami san kami talaga mag-stay or best place to be in. Melby and Sydney kasi is good for IT kasi nandun mga big offices nila. While in Perth medyo laid back. Kung sakali sasamahan kami ng parents namin to help out with our kids na isasama din namin. Yun parents ko walang problem sa visa since matagal na sila meron and pabalik-balik na sila ng AU. Kami yun talagang first timers and parang same start nung nag-SG kami 7 years ago. Kala namin makaka-survive na kami sa Pinas, ang hirap pa din pala. hahaha. anyways, looking forward to know more Pinoys in here.

@highflyerpaul maganda may family support and friends agad kayo pagdating niyo dito. kami we started here on our own. may 1 relative pero like us students din, so struggle is real. hehe. positive vibes lang makakaya niyo din iyan kasi may tutulong sa inyo sa pagsettle dito.

Questions po ulit.

Pede po pala magsama ng dependents kahit student visa? Ayos pala.
For example, ako ung may student visa then dependent ko si wifey, pede sya magwork, unlimited hours?

Also, plan ko mag diploma course lang for 1 year, so 1 yr lang dn sya pede magwork. Tama po ba?

Sorry, another question.

Regarding sa financial statement, to be honest, malayo kami dun sa required na financial capacity. Pero ung mom(australian citizen na) ko ang mag sponsor sa lahat ng expenses namin. Pede po ba na hindi ko mameet ung financial capacity then declare ko na sponsored kami financially ng parents?

@ClmOptimist if diploma course ka and kasama mo wife mo, she can work 40 hrs per fortnight lang din if i'm not mistaken. yung unli hours is if masteral or doctorate yung student.

regarding sa financial statement, big issue yan since from the Philippines tau. if ur mom will sponsor you, she still needs to have more than the required amount in her account. you will also need an affidavit of support and a declaration of access to funds drafted by a lawyer.

Hi guys, question. Sa mga nagrantan na ng student visa, yung certificate of employment nyo kailangan with detailed task ba talaga? Hindi kasi tinanggap ni school yung akin dapat with detailed tasks daw. I find it weird though. Paano kaya ako makahingi sa company ko ngayon ng hindi sila magduda. huhuhu

@aranayad tama po kayo. IT po natapos ko. Actually, meron nakong existing EOI for that, visa 489 with 70pts. Kaso, 1 year na po nakalipas, wala paring invitation. Makakareceive lang po kasi invite sa 489 pag naubos na si 189, which parang impossible mangyari. Un lang disadvantage pag pro rata ung occupation.

So, for now. I'll try applying for student visa muna.

@ambry yung sa school ka inapplyan in oz, the usual coe lang na provided by the company. as long as may letterhead ng company. tas the usual details ng coe. date started-date ended, position. number of hours per shift. ganun lang nmn.

@naloolala77 Thanks sis. Kaya nga bakit kaya ako hiningan ng COE with detailed work tasks ng school. Tapos nagmention pa sya na assessment level 3 daw ako. Akala ko wala na ang assessment level kasi nga visa subclass 500 na lahat. Tama ba?

@ambry korek. yan din understanding ko na wala nang level level. ung difference nlng ngaun is ung docs na hinihingi. if from high risk countries they'll ask for financial capacity docs to prove na kaya mabayaran ung tuition fee. do u have an agent ba? try asking him daw anong format gusto ng school, or u can email your school to ask for clearer instructions kung anong gusto nilang ibang details sa coe mo so u can abide to what they're asking.

@naloolala77 oo sis may agent ako. Ang weird nga ng skul eh. Yung agent ko chineck naman nya SOP ko at may binago konti tapos sinend nya sa skul pero sabi pa din ng skul di daw strong ang SOP ko at hindi detailed. Inask na naman ako ni agent na gumawa ng detailed. Eh para saken detailed na yun. Nastress ako bigla dyan sa detailed SOP at COE.

@ClmOptimist i see. ang tagal pla kapag 489. Masyado kasing magastos kpag student eh pero kubg kaya ng budget go fo it you just need to prove why do you neef to apply for a student visa lalo n at may eoi ka. Hmm i suggest magconsult ka sa mga free agency to ask for their opinion
