Nurses who took Bridging Courses

I'm planning to take bridging course po kasi to be a licensed nurse sa Australia then apply for PR para makuha ko po husband ko. Sa ngayon po we pasado na kami sa points, points po namin 65/60 pero I don't have strong experience as a nurse dito kaya di po pwede. So I plan to take the bridging course. Hindi din po kasi biro yung magagastos :(

Thank you in advance po mga kabayan!

Hi, as long as you meet the 60points and you have evidence to backed up the points that you are claiming then malaki chance niyo for a PR. As of now, marami silang kailangang RNs kaya while hindi pa nagbabago ruling ng immigration and even the ANMAC/AHPRA grab the chance. :) You just need to have proper and complete documents para di madeny. You can't apply for a PR even if you meet the points if you didn't study here. You have to have your registration here in Au. :) All of my hubby's batchmates are PR now.

Ano po yung kinuha niyo na course sa Australia and how much?

    Thank you po.

@aj.skywalker Hindi kasi kami nagstart ng Nursing kaya after 3yrs yung lodging. First course na kinuha ng hubby ko is Aged Care then nung narealize namin na walang pathway to PR, thats the time that he decided to take up Nursing. Nag1yr conversion course siya sa Deakin. :) Around $30k yung nagastos namin. Pwede ka namang magbridging provided that you have an experience. Sa PR pa rin naman papunta yun. Lagi kong sinasabi sa mga RN na nakakausap ko to grab the opportunity while it's there. :) It's a good investment for your family's future.

@aj.skywalker It doesn't matter what course you take kasi isang lang papupuntahan niyan which is your registration here as a nurse in Australia. Di nila tinitignan kung bridging ka or nag1yr study. Pag RN ka na rito, it will all depend on you kung gaano ka kapursigido at kasipag to look for a job. Just take things one at a time and be positive always. :) Eventually, everything will fall into place. Just keep praying for His guidance and do your part too.

Nagpafree assess ako sa 1 agent at sbi nya pasok daw ung 3 yrs exp ko and i fall under RN nec sa SOL..i need to take 3 mos BP daw at sinabi din nya na pwede sa subclass 190 visa ...Binigyan nya ko ng services quotation but it's kind a expensive.

Aral muna then registration with AHPRA then skills assessment with ANMAC then apply for PR. Pwede kang magBP with your experience as long as you'll meet the English language requirement. May mga agencies sa Phils like IDP and AECC na libre ang services. You can book an appointment with them and they will help you out with the requirements just for the student visa though.

Kung mag bridging ka its not advisable to bring your family with you kasi short course lang siya. You can apply your family sa PR application para makapagmigrate sila with you. To be able to apply for PR (189/190) you need to meet the points which is 60.

Pag 190, may extrang 5points for the state nomination kaya kung 55 plus 5 (state nomination) pasok pa rin for 190.

@cheng1003 ANMAC is for skills assessment. Once you get your registration as a nurse here in Au and you want to apply for PR, you need to submit your papers to ANMAC. They will assess whether you are suitable for migration or not. Requirements are almost the same with AHPRA's.

@cheng1003 Oo pag di ka suitable for migration hindi ka makakapagapply for PR. As long as mamemeet mo yung criteria ng ANMAC wala namang magiging problema. After ng ANMAC, magaantay uli ng invitation from the immigration or state bago ka makapagapply ng PR.

@Cassey ano ba criteria Ng ANMAC? pag ba after Ng bridging uuwe pa den SA pinas KC dba valid Lang ang student visa Ng 3mos dun n den mag aantay SA pinas Ng invitation?

@cheng1003 most likely uuwi parin ng pinas after mag BP. And hindi student visa yung makukuha nyang visa kundi tourist. Unless nalang na nasa Australia on a student visa taking other courses tapos nag bridging. Pero basically, magsusubmit ka ulit ng mga reqts dun including yung bridging course certificate and tor to them. Kahit saan pwede mag apply ng eoi and later on maglodge ng application for Pr.

Just like what the above post stated, you can get another visa if you want to extend your stay here in Au or you can process your papers in the Philippines BUT you can only extend if there is no "no further stay" condition on your visa. May 5 criteria ang ANMAC but not all will apply to you, it would depend on your circumstances.
