    good day..ask ko lang po kung need ng show money kapag nag aapply ng state sponsorship sa SA?how about po sa WA?thanks
    as for SA po wala pong hiningi na proof of funds, not sure po sa WA.

    sa online application, may part dun na kelangan mo ilagay yung financial capacity, or cash in hand upon migration and other assets. Yes kelangan syang ilagay but so far di naman sila humingi ng proof of fund.

    i guess pwede nating itanong sa iba nating kasama rito,but may nabasa ako sa booklet 6...you can actually get 5 points.

    If your partner is included in your application you may be awarded points if at time of
    invitation, he or she:
    • is able to satisfy ‘basic requirements’ including age, English language ability and
    nominated occupation; and
    • has obtained a suitable skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority for
    their nominated occupation.
    Points are only available if your partner is included in your application as an applicant.
    Points are not available if your partner is an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

    if you are claiming 5 points for spouse (you need his/her IELTS and Skills assessment)
    if NOT, and meron namang syang cert of English instruction as medium (from college), hindi na po kailangan ng IELTS..

    @RobertSG , i guess 189 yung visa nya. Guys, grabe ang tagal tagal tagal na ng application ko wala pa ring update. Ginawa pang 14 weeks ang processing from 8 to 12 ngayon 14 weeks na! 95 days na yung application ko! Advise ko lang for those who will apply, please check all your options...kung pwede kayong mag 189, ibang state or teritory mag apply, galingan sa IELTS ( panghatak points din) etc etc.

    @amcasperforu , yep they are processing na nga yung mga applications na nareceive nila ng July 29. Dati kasi 8 weeks lang ang processing then tumaas sa 12 ngayon 14 weeks na.

    Every state has occupation ceiling. Pano pag nasa medium, worst low na yun occupation mo. May possibility na medyo mababa na yun chance na makuha ka based on your nominated occupation. Kelan po ba nagrerefresh yun occupation ceiling, may ganun po ba...every year ba nagrerefresh yun occupation ceiling?

    @eischied_21 i think it is every 1st of july. even ung diac,,every july1 nag-i-implem ng changes.

    SOL2 ang sysad, so no choice ako kundi magpa-SS. nung ni-reject ako ng NSW last april akala ko end of the road na ako kasi during that time closed na ung sysad sa SA, ayaw ko naman sa NT. then come july1, nung introduce etong skillselect. sinuyod ko lahat ng website ng mga states, i notice na lahat sila nag-update din ng SS requirements and occupation list.

    MAIN Applicant: ME - 262113 Systems Administrator, Jan2012 / IELTS: Proficient
    Secondary: Husband - 312211 Civil Engr Draftsperson, Mar2011 / IELTS: Competent
    Apr 16 2012 - Received rejection letter from NSW :(
    Aug 15 2012 - SA SS approval :)

    @eischied_21 for now, yes, maliit ang chance but eventually magbubukas or mag uupdate sya ( july 1). Kaya lagi kong advise sa mga mag apply pa lang, Weigh your options, always check the SNOL or the availability ng skills. malaking tulong yung sa South Australia na naka post talaga kung available pa yung particular skill.
