unfortunately now, there are two dates, 1) submission of EOI and 2) visa application...
example, you submitted your EOI on Jun30, but they changed the rule on Jul1
and based on that changes hindi kana qualified... my quess is hindi kana maiinvite for visa application..
so im not sure na kahit nakapagsubmit kana ng EOI before the change was made, eh dun ka pa rin sa previous rule i-aassess..
this is only my opinion.. im trying to search regarding this, pero parang walang concrete answer sa DIAC website...

(1) UST - yes! can claim for 15pts. it is one of the 1st category school in the phils (as per their accreditation unit in australia) - on top of that, the course you took is one that has a board examinations.
(2) IELTS - academic and dapat no score lower than 7 in ALL subject, this is as far as the requirement of CPAA, ICAA and IPA is concerned. however you mentioned you are looking at getting assessed in VETASSESS, better double check on their IELTS requirements.

Guys, tanong ko lang, ang important lang ba is pumasa ako sa assessing authority and have my visa granted, then I can take any career pagpunta sa australia? just for example lang, if nagassess sakin CPAA, then they granted me visa then I can apply for engineering jobs in Australia? (just to exaggerate).

To answer your question, just pass your skills assessment and get your visa; afterwards, you can start an acting career in Australia...
The above is an exaggeration but yeah what I am pointing out is, the choice is yours afterwards on what career you want to pursue in the land down under.

Kun mkahanap ka ng career in your profession agad mas maganda but in some cases, the odds may not be in your favor. You need to be ready once your here at di lang emotionally but also financially ready. For sure habang may pera ka pa youll try to look for a job na in line with your profession pro kun wala kang other source of income, mauubos yan sa day to day na gastos. At ilang buwan kang ready mghanap, mnsan nkakawala ng pag-asa kaso kelangan magtyaga, mas lalong walang mngyayari kun di ka magtyatyaga.
So you need to think of ways to earn money kht temp/part time lang habang naghahanap ng work that you really want. Kun part time ka sa acting is mas ok
Un iba nursing sa pinas, nagpipintura pagdating dito. Un iba professor sa pinas, ngaun kitchen aide dito. So after your visa has been granted, isipin mo na kun work ang pede mong pasukan kun d k mkhanap ng acctg job agad. Once you are here, nasa sayo yan kun anong work just to survive here.

About sa ielts, i would like to share my materials sana with you kaso general pa un reviewer ko. Kelangan nyo is academic. But if familiar ka sa torrent download, you can download it, here's the link

Ok un materials na you can download from the net kc kht un mp3 for the listening part is mapparactice nyo. Un sa speaking, i am not sure if like dubai, british council din nagcoconduct ng exam sa KL. Kasi sa british council sa uae, if you register online may free online review sila and they have videos about speaking part, na for me its a big help, esp their tips.
