My current title as per my working visa is Export Market Development Manager but I am doing Accounting work. My another question, para po masatisfy yung Employment requirement ng Australia di ko po maintindihan for previous work kaylangan po bang mag bigay ng payslip or sa current employer lang ang need ng payslip?

@mondestrella - let me try to give my insights; as far as assessment for work experience is concerned, tinitingnan naman nila ang detailed job description mo eh more than anything else. So, with this, it is very important for you to secure and very comprehensive and detailed certificate of employment with job description.

Your second question mo naman, huwag masyado ma distract if you don't have payslips. Ang pinaka-importante na document for your work experience assessment is you very detailed certificate of employment. All these payslips, tax returns and bank statements these are just supplementary documents. :) Kumbaga, if you can't produce these, di naman ito show stoppers.

CAVEAT: Just advising as per our experience... :)

    @vhoytoy - if I may:

ang mga skills assessment bodies kasi, they based their decision to judge whether your experience should be counted as a relevant experience in your nominated occupation based on the ANZSCO definition of tasks and responsibilities.

to answer your question, try to make it as specific as possible. sa job experience and certificate of employment ng wife ko sa 1st job nya (one of the Big 4 Audit firms) - 6 pages in total ito. it was very comprehensive, good thing they have that already as a template so wala naging problema dito.

the key here is to really convince the people doing the assessment... goodluck!

Yung 6 pages certificate of employment is prepared by Audit Firm or prepared by your wife and only confirmed/ signed by them? I've worked kasi sa 2 Audit Firms sa pinas tapos 1 dito sa Singapore. I can prepared a detailed one just like in my Linkedin account but im not sure on the Audit Firm template. Ano po exactly ginawa ng wife mo. Thanks

That was made by the firm - she was doing Assurance & Audit for a Big 4 in Pinas and another here in Singapore. This was before she transferred to an insurance firm.

Just joined the forum. Migrant accountant ako, I've been based in brisbane since 2009.
CPAA at ICAA ang sikat dito sa Oz, especially if you have aspirations of becoming a manager, lagi nila requirement CPA or CA qualified. You can browse at seek.com.au to get an idea.
Ang difference, more on audit/public practice oriented ang CA, sa corporate ang CPAA. Ang NIA is academe.

Congrats! Ang bilis ng processing nyo... Nakabuti in some ways iyong bagong rule & online processing, kapag nakakuha ng invitation, halos given na approved ang visa application.
San nyo balak magbase dito sa Oz?

Salamat @batangbunyi - oo, mabuti na... and since we were part of the invitees ng third round, wala pa masyado 189/190 visa being processed (meaning di pa maximized ang capacity ng CO).

and of course, our CO was very efficient... :)

to answer your question, baka sa Melbourne kami.

Hi all, newbie here. Just want to ask which is better yung cpaa or the ipa? Im also bit confused sa ipa, in their site they have qualifications assessment and skill assessment what's the difference between the two. For skilled, fees is at 210 while standard is 450. Unlike sa cpaa assessment fee is 475. Appreciate any inputs.. Thanks

@meeyamyfied - no experience with IPA, my wife is an accountant and she did her skills assessment with CPAA; sabi nila mas mahirap daw makapasa sa CPAA versus IPA however okey naman yung sa wife ko. Guess we were just lucky.

Skills Assessment is the basic requirement needed by DIAC (as well as your IELTS) before you can be able to lodge an EOI. If and when you get a positive skills assessments, IPA (or CPAA) can proceed to do a qualification assessment which will determine which of your job experience can be deemed as a relevant to your nominated occupation. The number of years that they will indicate as relevant will give you an idea of how many points you can claim in your EOI eventually.

CPA Australia does not charge extra for this service... :)

    Goodluck!

@psychoboy possible ba na magbigay ang current employer ng certificate of employment? Never heard of it kasi. Kung manghingi ako ng coe sa kanila most probably alam na nila ng plans ko to leave yun pa naman ang sinisecret ko for the mean tome. Any documents that i can give to australia para po sa current employer ko? Thanks po.

Any documents that i can give to australia para po sa current employer ko? Thanks po.
Pwede naman... What you can do is get a certificate of employment from HR (kahit General lang) - then ask for a list of roles and responsibilities from your manager. Try to come up with your own reason, I mean diskarte mo ito as you would know the situation between you and your employer.

My wife asked for a current COE; no questions asked naman...

Thanks po.

@vhoythoy - my wife submitted a stat declaration sa second job nya as she did not secure those detailed responsibilities sa coe nya. meaning di nagbigay ang company.

suggest you support your stat declaration with a general certificate of employment issued by HR. the lesser deviance from the requirement, the better

    guys,

Meron ako nakita post regarding IELTS, sabi nila you can take either academic or general ielts unless specified ng assessing authority mo. Does that mean na pwede ako kumuha either of the two ielts and DIAC will still accept my score if my assessing authority does not specify which ielts i'm going to take?

Sa review kasi kanina, sinabi nila na sa Canada they are strict, pag sinabing general dapat mo take, they won't accept your academic ielts score kahit na mas mahirap pa.

All your inputs will be very much appreciated! Salamat!
