good day po. bago po ako sa forum.. ask ko lang po. plan ko po magpasa sa vetassess kaso medyo naguguluhan po ako ID grad po kasi ako pero I've been working as architectural technician/draftsperson for the past 9 yrs. mas maganda po ba na sa Architectural technician/draftsperson ang skilled category na ang ipa-assess ko? salamat ng marami

Sa website ng vetassess if you apply for an assessment, kelan iuupload yung docs? after the payment ba? nagfillup kasi yung friend ko then nasa payment na siya wala pading option na iupload lahat ng docs na required so i'm wondering kung tama ba na after ng payment pa magupload ng docs? maraming salamat!

Hello Ma'am and Sir! Sorry po kung natanong na to dati pero magpapatulong lang po sana ako kasi we're still lost in the application process po. Mag-aapply po kasi ng Visa 190 yung Ate ko. About sa assessment po sa VETASSES, mauuna po bang magpaassess dun bago mag-IELTS? Kapag po under VETASSES, pwede po bang pasummarize yung steps? Di ko din po kasi masyadong gamay yung kanya kasi yung application ko po under EA at Visa 189 naman po. Salamat po sa makakatulong

@Drew06 English is not required during VETASSES skills assessment so she can proceed as long as she's got all docs required. She can do her English test will skills assessment is being processed then once she gets a positive outcome and if she can claim at least 60 points (including 5 points for state sponsorship) depending on which state she's applying sponsorship for, she needs to either lodge EOI first then apply for state sponsorship (or the other way around). Then once invite is issued, apply for visa within 60 days.

Hello po! Maytatanong po sana ako, BS Civil Eng grad po ako, 5 years and 7 months related experience sa Civil Draftsman skill po, automatic po ba na nagbabawas ng 1 year ang vetasses sa experience? Kung nagbabawas po sila pwede ko po ba isama yung work experience ko as office engr sa isang company na sarado na at wla pong bngay na payslip pero ung supervisor ko po nakausap ko pwede nya po ako g gawan ng coe pero wla po ako paid evidence kc po contractor po un and business paid by cash po kmi. Push ko prn po ba ung 1 year exp konsa contractor? Sana po masagot nyo. Thanks po

@airotciv my policy when I handle cases for clients is to better provide more than less and let the assessor decide. Hope that helps.

Pano po pala kung sama ko ung isang company pero sarado na po hnd po nila ko nabigyan ng payslip at coe meron po ba kong pwedeng gawin na paraan para maisama un..na cocontact ko pa po ung project engineer pwede daw po nya ko magawan ng reference letter pero pano po ung sa paid evidence ano po ang pwede kong gawin

Magpa-vetassess po sana wife ko para additional points sana sa akin (Partner Skills) + 5points.

Tourism grad po siya sa UP Diliman and nagmasters din po.

Kailangan po ba ng years of experience nya para sa vetassess? Ilan po ang required? What if ang kaya lang mai-provide ay 1yr experience?

And may complications po na yung occupation list ko.

Sabi po kasi sa requirements: Has nominated an occupation on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated occupation

Hello po. Magtatanong lang po sana. I received a negative outcome from vetassess dahil daw po yung education is comparable to associate degree lang. Minimum is bachelor's degree. I'm a graduate of PUP Manila and a CPA so i thought magiging comparable na siya into a bachelor's degree. Pano po kaya ang pwede kong gawin or isubmit sa kanila for reassessment? Nasubmit ko naman yung PRC Certificate ko sa knila. Salamat po.

@peyborcat best way is to send an email sa Vetassess quoting your file number then make an inquiry kung ano ang best na gawin para ma overturn and negative result.

Maybe you need more years of work experience as an accountant as they have 5 years minimum experience required to be eligible, either that or you need to enroll sa school so you can satisfy units that they think you haven't done in Uni. Have a read through the vetassess website, i think they have a list of units you should take for accountancy. (If my guess is right that you are applying as an accountant)

@peyborcat bear in mind na parating minus 1 year ang Vetassess for pathway 1 sa work experience. But in any case, always ask them. Aussies are very informative people and they will be glad to answer queries.

@peyborcat VETASSESS based their decision on the Country Education Profile (CEP). PUP is under section 2 which means depending on your total average grade, your qualification would either be recognised as a bachelor degree or associate degree equivalent. The only way to address this is to do further studies at a higher level para ma-recognise na at least equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree...preferably from a university listed under section 1 sa CEP

@peyborcat part of minimum requirement is a bachelor degree equivalent to an Australian degree. You need to satisfy the formal qualification requirement

Hi everyone!

I have a concern with VETASSESS migration assessment. The result of my assessment with VETASSESS came out to be negative for my employment for internal auditor (full assessment and the re-assessment). However, when I requested for migration assessment with CPAA for the external auditor. The result of my employment assessment stated that my employment is considered to be closely related to internal auditing and not considered to be closely related to external auditor.

Nakakalito sila, parang nagturuan pa eh. Hahaha!

Here are my questions:
1. Can I cite the recommendation of CPAA that my employment is for internal auditor in an appeal with VETASSESS?
2. Do I need to request for a re-assessment of my results with CPAA?
3. Should I just change to Chartered Accountants-Aus & NZ (CAANZ) for another assessment for my external auditor function?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

@vincechaos Hi Vince, have you tried sending an email to VETASSESS to ask where you went wrong? They will readily give you advise if you need to change or submit more documents, it might be on the experience part, or the roles and responsibilities. You can furnish them a copy of the result from CPAA as well, just so that they know you are more fit for an internal auditing role.

@heero_yuy51 Yup, Ms Gigi sent an email today to clear this matter. I am just thinking of trying the assessment with CAANZ in case VETASSESS will not revise their assessment because my colleague (has the same function as mine) got a positive assessment with CAANZ for external auditor.

@jondesantos sa pag kakaintindi ko po, to be able to get the additional 5 points, dapat nasa same list kayo ng wife mo, like kung MLTSSL ka dapat yun wife mo is nasa MLTSSL din ang nominated skill. Sa years of experience nman po, i think for visa 189 as long as you got a positive assessment from the assessing body pwede nyo po i apply, wala naman nakalagay sa DIBP that yuou need to have minimum number of years sa experience to be able to be invited. They will look first sa ranking ng points mo. kung balak mo naman mag 190 para sa SS na 5 points, some state will look into experience (you can check their websites para sure).

Hello po. I'm new here. I'm a PR in Singapore and exploring possibilities of migrating to Aussie with my family. S'pore PR din sila. My many years of experience is in Marketing for the Shipping industry, but I'm not sure kung papaano ko dapat "i-package" ang sarili ko para maging mataas ang chances ko to migrate. Required ba na i-assess ako ng VETASSES before I submit my EOI? Hindi ko rin alam kung paano ko isa-submit ang statement of service/COE ko sa current company ko kasi ayaw ko sanang malaman nila na may plan akong mag-migrate....any other options/alternative docs na acceptable sa VETASSES?

@jondesantos she can claim points from you since your occupation is also listed in STSOL, but not the other way around.

@makarios15 What's your nominated occupation? Kung 225113 Marketing Specialist, dapat yung roles and responsibilities na nakalagay sa COE or statutory declarations mo aligned sa expected ng Vetassess na roles and responsibilities ng isang Marketing Specialist. Pwede mong i-Google yung list para macheck.

In general, you need positive skills assessment and English exam results na umabot sa cut-off para makapagsubmit ng EOI.
