@arc123 as per HFA website po, hindi po kasama sa eligible qualification ang diploma and certs:

    Eligible qualifications
For the purposes of applying for a subclass 485 visa under the Post-Study Work stream, only study that results in the conferral of an eligible degree level qualification will be considered. An eligible degree level qualification is a:

    Bachelor degree
    Bachelor (honours) degree
    Masters by coursework degree
    Masters (extended) degree
    Masters by research degree
    Doctoral degree

Try niyo po iyong explore iyong graduate skilled stream ng Temporary graduate visa:

@agentKams Hi, ask ko lang if may knowledge ka sa dilemma namin ng wife ko. Kasi dentist wife ko with more than 5 yrs professional experience sa PH. Then balak nya mag Masters sa University of Melbourne, may chance kaya kami to apply PR after her graduation? Kasi hindi pa sya licensed dentist sa AU by the time she graduated kaya hindi namin alam ano ang inonominate? Thanks in advance.

@onehitwonder if PR pathway po aim usually suggestion ng mga migration agent, study a course na mka gain ka ng ‘skill’ as per migration skill list. eg sa mga nurses, we do bachelor in nursing or bridging program pra ma register dito sa Au and nsa skill list kami so yun ang oathway for migration.

if kelangan maging registered dentist dito sa au and nsa skill list xa, let your wife do courses or exams na maging registered dentist xa.

kasi yug masters course sa nursing e optional lang kasi it doesnt really lead to PR. additional education xa

    Registered Nurse Nec

    06/15 - touchdown Oz
07/15 - start of classes (Bachelor in Nursing)
05/16 - passed OET (after 4 failed attempts with IELTS and PTE)
    07/16 - finished uni
07/16 - received AHPRA Australian Registered Nurse rego
    08/16 - student visa 500 (Diploma)
10/16 - started working as an RN

Hello question lang ulit. Being a graduate of bachelor of fine arts major in advertising, currently 70 pts as a marketing specialist. Ano magandang path para sa akin

    Opt 1.
Iniisip ko magaral ng diploma of marketing and communication sa Tasmania. After a year na magaral pwede na kami mag apply ng visa 489.

    Or

    Opt 2.
Study master in professional accouting sa Melbourne. After 2 years pwede rin ba ako mag apply ng PR.

So far ang tinitimbang namin is mas affordable yung opt 1 and shorter time. Question ko is mataas ba chance namin to get visa 489 after?

Or opt 2, masmatagal and masmagastos pero can i apply for PR afterwards po?

    Thank you.

@onehitwonder i suggest improve your scores in English, it is expensive to do the student pathway and the time invested is too long. unpredictable din ang changes ngayon sa immigration baka pag-land niyo dito on student visa nagchange na naman ang requirements.

@agentKams After grad, we plan to apply for the postgrad visa and try applying for a job. Pero mas gusto sana namin na mkapag apply for PR. I am not sure kasi if kakayanin ko ang MPA kasi to be honest I had a hard time with accounting during my college years. Kaya hesitant ako to shift.

Hi! Question. I’m going to have my 1 year conversion program of BSN this year. Since it’s not eligible for visa subclass 485, would it be a smart move to study masteral of nursing (or any post grad studies) after my conversion program for me to be able to apply for 485? Thanks

When you’re on 485 visa you need to maximize it.
    - look or move sa state na nagssponsor ng skills mo. Usually if you move inter-state may waiting time before you can apply for state nomination.
    - find a job that is related to the skill you’re applying.
    - take PTE
    - plan your visa pathway 189, 190 or regional provisional
