    @madamA Salamat po. Isang pagsubok pala ang pag kuha ng COE hahahaha. ang iniisip ko paano yun current employer ko. meron naman po ako mga COE from previous wala nga lang po naka lagay na full time, working hours and duties and responsibilities.

    may result na po ba assessment nyo?

    @benjfabian Yup yung akin nagstart ako magrequest since July tapos September ko lang nakumpleto. Yung sa current rin di namin alam noon ano gagawin kaya standard na lang nirequest namin. Naka-address pa nga sa "Philippine Embassy" yung sa asawa ko kasi ayaw nya banggitin sa HR ang CPA Australia. Haha. Sa statutory declaration na lang talaga namin kinumpleto.

    Wala pa pong results. 15 working days ang processing. :)

    Nag-English exam na po ba kayo?

    Hi Guys, Hi @batman, @jillpot, @joyee,

    It has been a while since I last consulted you all here. Been trying to ask for support from my university about the course syllabus requirement of CPAA assessment. So far, the Accountancy Department replied to me saying that the registrar office has a copy of the "course bulletin for 1998". This contains the course descriptions in one paragraph only. But my study years was 1999 - 2003.

    Can anyone tell me if this is possible to be sufficient enough to get a positive assessment from CPAA? Or should I need to request a more detailed course descriptions from my university which include a list of the topics discussed in each of the subjects and printed on university letterhead indicating my exact study years?

    Hindi muna ako mag-gi-give up kahit nakita ko na tumaas na ang required points for Accountant General to 75 according to the recent posts here.

    Hoping to hear from anyone of you here. Thank you.

    @joy94 Hi. It's okay to submit course description especially if your school is included in the section 1 list. Like in my case, I submitted a course description which consists of 1 paragraph description for each subject (total of 7 pages) since our university registrar could not provide a syllabus. CPAA accepted it without any question. So it should be fine.

    Yes, based on my last check in the list of section 1 schools here in pinoyau.info, my University is included in the section 1 list. Kaya lang mejo kabado ako sa one-paragraph descriptions kaya I'm thankful for reading your reply here.

    Below are my further clarifications, i hope you don't mind:
    1. Did your course description include only those subjects mapped to the CPAA post-July 2015 competency areas? or did your school provided you all the course descriptions as per their BSA program for your years of study?

    2. Did your university registrar provide a note that they could not provide a syllabus anymore? or this is no longer needed? :)

    1. It contains all the subjects with description as per BSA program from 1st yr to 4th yr.
    2. This is no longer needed.

    Like you, I was also worried before but I've read somewhere na pag nasa section 1 list ang school hindi masyado strict si CPAA. So when I submitted the docs, wala naman kahit isang tanong or further request for additional docs.

    Hi! Sana po maliwanagan ako dito. I have bookkeeping services registered sa DTI, Municipal and BIR. I'm not yet a CPA that time when I registered it last 2007. Isa po sa ginagawa ko sa clients (trading business) is filing of tax returns either manual or EFPS as maker authorized by the clients which is nasa job description ng General Accountant. Then recently po naging CPA ako. Kapag nagpa assess ba ako a CPA Australia hahanapan ako ng practicing certificate as self employed? Meron naman ako official receipts and billings. Nagwork ako sa private before (2001-2006) pero hindi na po pasok sa last 10 yrs of experience. Kapag nag pa member ba ako sa CPA Australia as assoc member isasama ko din ba yung work experience ko since 2001? Thanks!

    @joy94 you can write ur own syllabus basta may stat dec ka lang na walang syllabus na maprovide ang school nyo. I did that para sa ibang subjects na di ko nakuhanan ng syllabus.

    @joyee Hi! Ang hirap gumawa ng detailed course outline. Matagal na kase ako graduate at wala maprovide ang uni sa akin. Buti na lang yung husband ko naitabi pa karamihan sa mga books namin. Ok lang kaya na yung sa accounting subjects lang gawan ko ng detailed course outline? Yung sa Finance, Management, Mathematics, Economics hindi na. Kung kailangan ko pumunta sa library ng uni gagawin ko matapos lang ito:) Yung school ko nga pala Section 2.

    June 2017 - Decided to pursue our OZ dream :) Joined PinoyAU forum.
    July 2017 - Studying for PTE-A exam. Started gathering docs. Signed contract with agent.
    September 9, 2017 - I took PTE-A. Results received after one day. L/R/S/W = 85/90/72/90 (sad)
    September 16, 2017 - Hubby took PTE-A. Results received after one day. L/R/S/W = 76/68/77/78 (konting push pa!)
