@cailynragsdepot ano po ba course nyo at school kasi nag babase yung ACS dyan e.. yung assessment is base sa couse mo,occupation na inaapplyan mo at school mo.. yung binigay mo ba na "AQF Diploma level" result na ba yan ng ACS or hindi ka pa nagpapa assess?

Hi @Hunter_08 BS I.T po ako at level 3 ang school ko kaya mejo masaklap 6 years deduction sa Work Experience. I was thinking mag take ng additional IT certification baka sakali maka-claim higher than 10 pts sa ACS assessment?

@cailynragsdepot I don't think magiging bachelor's degree yung magiging assess sayo after the certification.. I think yung way is mag masteral ka at for sure magiging bachelor's degree yan.. ganyan din skn section 3 yung school kaya diploma lang nabigay at 5 yrs yung nabawas.

@cailynragsdepot ano school mo? buti nga sayo 6yrs lang eh hehe.. pareho tayong level 3. sakin 7yrs deduction. I don't think madadagdagan ka agad ng points dahil kumuha ka ng ilang certification unless ang kunin mo eh yung CCNP kukng nsa network ka or MCSE kung windows ka nmn. ask mo din yung iba bro.. opinion ko lang nmn to.

@Sid Lim hindi lahat ng kumukuha ng certification ay 100% na aassess as bachelor's or additional points kasi yung barkada ko CCNP certification sya, cum laude din sya pero yung school kasi namin nasa section 3 tapos yung result ng assessment nya is diploma pa din at 5yrs deduction. FYI lang po sa iba.

@KarlaD nung nag stat dec ako at pinapirma ko sa friend ko na manager sa previous company ko hindi na ko nagpasa ng ID nya or something pero meron pa din akong generic COE from the company at may letter din of explanation na ibinigay ang HR bakit hindi sila nagbibigay ng detailed COE.

Hello, question po sa mga nag pa assess for computer network and systems engineer with ACS and kung BS ECE... nabasa ko kasi yung section na:

Thesis or Research Project Abstract
When the qualification includes a thesis or research project, an abstract of the thesis or research project is required. The abstract should be endorsed by the primary supervisor where possible. The name of the University and the date of the thesis publication or project completion should appear on the front page of the abstract.

Hindi ko na kasi mahanap yung hard copy ng thesis namin, nor yung soft copy.. and wala na akong contact sa mga thesis-mates ko nung college.. mga 7 years ago na kasi yun.. May mga naka experience ba na di nagpasa ng thesis pero pasado for ACS assessment? And required po ba talaga yung thesis?

Sorry kung nasagot na ito in the past pages pero nag backtrack ako ng mga ilang pages wala naman ako nakita at wala kasing search dito.. salamat!:)

Question naman po, pumasa muna ba dapat sa IELTS bago mag paa assess sa ACS? Kasi sa case ko kung di ako magkaka points sa IELTS, balewala ang ACS ko kasi di aabot ng 60.

Correct po, sa case ko kasi useless din ang ACS assessment unless makakuha ko ng atleast band 7 in all categories sa IELTS to get 10 points.

Anyway, ung job description ba sa COE nyo pina modify nyo sa mga previous employers to fit ung required ni ACS? Or kung ano lang ung ibigay ng company? Medyo generic kasi ung binibigay sakin na JD.

@WantToMigrate ang ACS is valid naman for 2 years. so you can spend that time to get your desired score on IELTS or PTE-A.

regarding JD, both 2 employers ko hindi nagrerelease ng detailed COE so kinausap ko sila kung okay lang bang ako na lang gumawa ng detailed COE then papalagyan ko ng letterhead sa kanila at pipirmahan na lang nila. Tapos If they didn't agree on what I wrote on the COE then i'll modify it again. so to answer your question, yes ni-modify ko siya to fit the requirements of ACS na may konting tweaks.

Hi nakakuha ako positive feedback from ACS after 6 weeks 2 contact for verification of certs and employee reference resubmit due to no date issued, ask ko lang isa lang ba pwede ko gamitin dun s binigay nila ( Bachelor Degree major in Computing, AQF diploma on network prof, and aqf diploma on network something )? Tska may nainvite napo ba sa 26311 na 65 points? Thank you

Good afternoon po mga sir.

Hingi lang po ako ng advice, gusto ko po mag apply ng subclass 189 sa australia. Ang aapplyan ko po sana yung 236111 (Computer Network and Systems Engineer)

Graduate po ako ng BSIT from section 2 university. And may job experience po ako ng 3 yrs and 9 months as Technical Support (not call center), and currently 11 months na po as Network Specialist with the same company po. Almost 5 years na po ako sa company. And kukuha rin po ako ng CCNA certification this year.

Any advise po mga sir?

Hi guys question lang. I have a 5 years of work experience as a software engineer. My school is from section 3 (AMA Computer College) and graduated BS Comp Science. I’ve read some varying posts na 5-6years and even 7 years ang deduction sa work experience. Kaso nag-aalangan ako kasi baka 6-7 years nga ang idededuct sakin e I only have 5 years na pambala at masayang lang ang pera. Is there someone here na same case with me? What happens if ganun ang case na kinulang ako? Once kasi na okay na assessment ko I’ll be focusing na sa band 8 score for english test which requires a lot of preparation din.

@xotigu same case tayo, AMAERs din ako. Saklap since ung 6 years ko eh na deduct.. kaya nga nag student visa ako dito sa AU. Pero since di ako pwede mag work ng full time, ang ginawa ko is nag volunteer work ako.. for 3 years.. Check out ung sa "Other Types of Work Experience" sa pdf ng ACS

Hi guys, share ko lng yung sa kin.. nag paassess ako sa acs.. bachelors degree ung school major in computing pero 4 years deduction. 263111 po NO. Level 1 po school ko.Sabi ng officer sa kin hnd daw related ung course ko na ece sa occupation ko. I decided na magpareassess. Got the result today. From 4 years deduction naging 2 na lng. And since nagpalit ung result.. irerefund nla ung bnyaran ko for reassessment. Kung malakas po ung pkiramdam nyo na mali ung assessmnt sa inyo.. try nyo po reassess. Wala po akong additional docs na pinasa.

Hnd ka makakakuha ng ccnp if hndi ka ccna certified. So if plan nyo po mag ccnp..dadaan po ng ccna.

Hello po seeking advice po ulit.. Course ko BS ECE sa class 2 school, board passer pero expired na license ko last year pa. I have a total of 4 years 4 mos exp as software tester, any idea how will ACS handle assessment to me if ever? Will promotions also help? Thank you..

@Mizai01 parang yung course medyo malayo po sa work exp baka you need to take the path of RPL but possible naman na hindi na but I suggest you take the occupation of Software Engineer kasi halos same lang naman ang description nila at you can go for visa 189/190/489 for software engineer while software tester visa 190/489 lang at dipende pa kung open pa for specific states. sa school mo mukang ma bigyan ka ng bachelor's degreee.

@Hunter_08 thanks sa advice, looks like I'll reconsider choosing nga yung software tester since I'm aiming for 189.. Tricky lang kasi ece yung course ko sana maging positive pa rin without rpl..
