As for my Masters degree, sa PNU rin, may practicum naman, kaso 56 hours lang yun mga 1-2 weeks lang kapag na-convert
@Au_Vic yung initial teacher education dapat level 7 and higher, ee ang level 7 sa framework nila is bachelors then level 8 yung masters and graduate diploma.
I think much better kung dyan mag.aaral sister mo, or mag. UP may inooffer silang diploma for early childhood. I don't know lang kung pasok yan for the qualification sa aitsl.

She is a secondary school teacher in a public school in Philippines for 8 yrs now, and trying to migrate here in Australia thru applying a PR visa. However, the required IELTS points for teachers assessment is difficult for her to achieve.
Are there other option/s for her to be able to migrate here in AU? Like possible ba mag student visa muna? khit diploma course lng muna? mejo may kamahalan din kasi pag bachelors degree dito. I and my husband are PRs in QLD and we are considering that option and kung possibe din maka pag bigay ng sponsorship sa visa application nya. Pwede ba yun? student visa to PR then to citizen? another concern is, possible ba ma approve sya ng student visa for diploma course lng dito sa AU? knowing na Bachelor graduate sya sa pinas with 8 yrs exp?
sorry kung magulo. Anyone na may alam ng same case for the option that we are considering?
Salamat ng marami sa makakapag share.

Sana matulungan nyo po kami. Iisa-isahin ko na lng po ang scenerio.
Currently my wife is working as an Early Childhood teacher in Singapore for almost 5 yrs na this year. We are planning and hoping to work, apply for PR in Australia.
- She has an AB English degree in CNU, Cebu and a licensed secondary English teacher here in the Phils.
- Unfinished MA in Lit in Cebu
- She studied Specialist Diploma in Chid Psychology in Singapore
She doesn't have a degree, diploma nor cert in ECE, but she's planning to take an "Advance Certificate in Early Years" in Singapore while working. - Tanong will that help? Dapat po ba na kunin nya to? Or much better ba ang diploma?
- No IELTS yet
Like the basic and sure steps pra maka-proceed sa pagpapa-assess sa AITSL na tiyak ang pagpasa?
Maraming Salamat po in advance. God bless all.

2 certificates kasi manggagaling sa AITSL
First is skills assessment.
Eto po yung requirements from AITSL that your wife MUST fulfill for assessment:
Four years university education
45 days practicum
IELTS
2nd is skilled EMPLOYMENT certificate or statement
Eto naman po criteria from AITSL website:
You are only eligible for a skilled employment statement if you gain a positive skills assessment for a school teacher occupation.
We assess skilled employment that was:
completed in any country
closely related to your nominated school teacher occupation
undertaken within the past 10 years
undertaken after the completion of an initial teacher education qualification
for at least four consecutive weeks and at least 20 hours per week
undertaken within a registered school setting
paid employment.
Ang hindi ko lng sure sa case nyo is if may 45 days practicum po ba xa with her secondary teaching qualifications?
Or if iconsider ng AITSL na her practicum from SG ECE (assuming meron) and then her degree sa Pinas.
The best scenario is she’ll receive a positive assessment from her qualifications from Pinas as a secondary school teacher. Then receive a skilled employment certificate as ECE based on her WORK experience in SG.
Unless other people here have the same case.
Sana po nakatulong ako.

Salamat po ng marami.
Sa question nyo po na: "Ang hindi ko lng sure sa case nyo is if may 45 days practicum po ba xa with her secondary teaching qualifications?" - Meron po, in fact halos 1 semester nga po yon with a university prof.
"The best scenario is she’ll receive a positive assessment from her qualifications from Pinas as a secondary school teacher. Then receive a skilled employment certificate as ECE based on her WORK experience in SG. "

Any advise... in case magpa-assess po wife ko using her educ background niya sa Pinas as secondary school teacher licensed holder with morethan 45 days praticum, pupwedi po ba yon though ang employment skill is 5yrs ECE in SG?

Hnd xa considered na ECE here in sg as well as in Australia. But i studied diploma sa sg to be able to work in sg. I think your wife knows the L2 qualifications sa sg.
Ang considered po ng AITSL sa educational assessment part is yung pinas degree qualifications ko, my practicum din na 1 sem sa pinas, plus ielts. The evidence they stated in my certificate eh yung degree ko lang sa pinas and ielts although i also submitted my sg diploma qualifications (hindi ito stated sa certificate na emailed sakin).
I think similar kami ng case in terms of hindi kami both ECE sa Pinas. So I guess, okay magiging assessment nya considering makita ng AITSL na equivalent yung secondary education course nya sa Pinas with Australia (etong part na to ang hindi ko masasagot).
Sa skilled employment assessment naman, they considered my work experience from 2008 (3 years Prep level sa Pinas, 5 years sa SG in child care setting) so pasok xa sa Nominated occupation na ECE.
When you submit the application, pede sbay yang education and work assessment para isang process and bayad lang. hindi nmn i process ang skilled employment if hindi positive si education assessment. Pag separate mo pa sila, dagdag bayad and time Ng processing. So i suggest pagsabayin nyo na lang. and isang application lang din nmn sila.
First step is IELTS really. Then, Gather all documents. Mejo matagal kasi kumuha ng mga documents from Pinas since nasa SG nga ako.
Hindi nila hiningi and I got my positive assessment.
