    @SAP_TRM
    Babayaran nyo parin po ang fee for dependents na $1800. What I meant na mas tipid is adding your skilled partner as dependent for +$1800 versus having your skilled partner apply on his/her own and paying the full $3600. Unless may gustong isamang ibang dependent ang partner mo (parent/dependents sa side nya).

    @jerm_au16 we signed 2 separate statutory declarations. and un form 888 from friends wala ng separate stat dec kc stat dec na in itself un form 888. i think pwedeng family members as long as PR or citizen sila.

    @jerm_au16 yes. they prefer aussie PR or citizen because form 888 is bound by the law. they're making a declaration. i read from online forums na if wala kang mga aussie pr friends na pwedeng ma witness for you, pwede din naman affidavit from your home country. you can do this with a lawyer ata in manila. equivalent ng form 888 nila.

    hello everyone, ask lang pwede ba kami apply ng partner ko for defacto even if we never lived together? kasi we were both working in KSA before. Ako nasa Pinas na, sya andun pa din. If pwede, anong mga documents ipapakita namen? thanks.

    hi @justice143 you now can. It was just a year or two i think that it has become acceptable. You just have to provide strong evidence of that you're in a genuine relationship. Provide evidences that will show you kept in touch with each other, if you are financially dependent to your partner, gifts you sent to each other, stat decs from your friends/family who can vouch for your relationship.

    Gday!

    Hello. recently naglodge ako ng visa application ko (189) and then ginawa kong non-migrating member ung partner ko as de facto. ngaun nag require ung case officer ng evidence. na submit ko naman ung evidences and ngayon under assesment parin ung visa ko mga 3 weeks na. ask ko lang po kung ano ang kalalabasan ng partner ko kung dependent ba or parnter visa. ang pagkakalaam ko kasi magkaiba ang fee ng dependent and partner visa. TIA sa sasagot. good day!

    @Ryan A iba ang dependent and partner visa. dpendent is when sinali mo xa as ‘migrating’ member yung partner mo. so kung ano yung visa mo, yun din kanya. partner visa is when di mo xa sinali as dependent and you decide na punta xa dito. your partner will be on a diferent visa na. partner visa which i believe dlwa stages. temporary visa for 2 years then will be invited to apply for PR after. i think $7000 yan. bit if gawin mo sa dependent, $3600 sayo, and $1600 sa dpendent. heaps cheaper.

    @kymme when lodging the visa kasi dineclare ko sya as non-migrating membe. so akala ko wala ng hihingin na evidence ung case officer kasi non-migrating nga. so nagulat ako nung humingi ng pieces of evidence about our defacto relationship. sa immiaccpiunt hinginan din sya ng police clearance pero ndi sya pinag health exam. naguguluhan lang ako kung san sya babagsak if ever ma approve na visa ko. kung sa dependent ba or sa partner? thanks.

    @Ryan A kasi dine lare mo xa as non migrating dependent, di xa kasali sa visa mo. may right mg hingi ng additional docs ang case officer. if i may ask, di po b xa pupunta dito? im not sure if ok pa pg submit nung form na may change in circumstance na gawin mo xang migrating pra sabay kau PR. pero nka assess na e. mgkano b bnayad mo? for urself lng? if yes, di xa kasali sa visa mo but she still needs to provide docs asked by your CO. and sa future, magiging partner visa na xa which is more expensive and mahaba process.

    ang Stat Dec ay kung citizen or PR ang mag fillup at sa Australia pipirmahan. Otherwise an affidavit shall be used in its place.

    Sana may makasagot. Ask lang po if pede na ako mag-claim ng 5pts for my defacto partner? Kahit di pa tapos yung assessment nya sa engineer australia? Pareho kami ng field and company, Telecommunications Engineer.

    @Krisian While it is a possibility and others may have done it, I strongly suggest to wait for the outcome of the assessment as that is a ground for application rejection. That goes for PR as well. One can't file for an EOI if a skill assessment hasn't come through. They will check the dates on when the outcome was released vs your application. Marami na pong nangyaring ganon on the past.
