@mark_marky05 hi we will be moving in adelaide sa june.. same occupation kayo ni hubby and sg based dn kmi although visa 190 kmi kasi umabot kami sa list last yr bago mgchange to 489.. kakagrant lng dn nmin.. balitaan kita pero roughly sa mga nagather ko same ang expenses sa sg mga 2k-3 a month .. looking at seek mukhang d gnun karami jobs pero hopefully makakuha ng maayos na work pagpunta dun,. we also have a 6 yr old..

@mark_marky05 meron na kmi nakita pagstayan na pinoy... room muna so mas mura 200 per month lng since family kmi.. pag haws around 270-300 per month ang normal sa 2 bedrooms sa SA and mahirap daw makakuha lalo pag wala kakilaa dun and wala pa work.. sakto dn naman kasi para makapasok agad anak nmin unti dec tapos pag nakahanap na ng work tska kmi kuha ng bahay kung san malapit work and then lipat anak nmin.. para dn d mahirap magadjust kasi totally wala kmi kilala dun hehe

@mark_marky05 @Loknoy21 for SA eto ung sinend sakin nung isang andun na ngaun for family of 3

1. Rent per week - depends on the accommodation. So depende sa unit na rent nyo, it could be anywhere from 250 - 350 for a 2 bedroom unit/house. closer sa city,more expensive
2. food/grocery per week - probably 80 - 120 per week
3. electricity and gas - 400 - 500 per quarter
4. internet - 70 per month
5. mobile phone - 40/month per person
6. Transportation expense (if you are not yet planning to have a car) - around 50-80 parang sg dn pero kung hanap hanap plang work and most of the time asa bahay so baka less dn..
7. Miscellaneous expense - eating out and movies, shop once in a while

Others
6. private health insurance
7. Car and petrol
8. Car insurance
9. if you have a kid, education expense - if PR around 500 a yr for state school.

@kaidenMVH yup sa Sydney mas mahal ang house ung friend namin $410 pw 1BR 1Bath apartment unit. At mas mahirap din yata makahanap ng rerentahan dahil sa dami ng nag hahanap ng place, nakita ko sa news. Dito sa Perth, $430 pw kami 2BR 2Bath Townhouse
I dunno if me idea ka na kung paano ang renting process dito.. pero ang masasabi ko lang mahirap. Haha. Lalo na sa bagong dating.

@ram071312 plan is makikitira muna kami sa relatives ni wife habang nag hahanap ng work. the things is family of 4 sila, kami din family of 4, so medyo nakakahiya na magtagal kami sa kanila. Yun lugar din nila mga 30-40 mins drive papunta Sydney CBD. kung meron work na makita na mas malapit, maybe Parammatta CBD that would be ideal. Pero mindset namin kahit ano opportunity na dumating grab na :-)

@kaidenMVH mabuti at may relatives pala kayo sa Sydney. Mahirap ang walang kakilala. Tama ganyan dapat talaga ang mindset. Open sa lahat ng opportunities. Mahirap maghanap ng work na sakto agad sa field e. Dapat flexible lalo at pamilyado. Maswerte ung first job e un na agad. Wag mawalan ng pag asa at pray palagi.

Side kwento, si hubby nga 2 mos naghanap ng work, kung anu anu ang inaplayan nya. Una puro linya muna nya (quality manager na sya sa Pinas) tapos naghanap sya ibang linya basta full time wala pa rin, hangggang ibang linya kahit casual basta direct hire, wala din, hanggang casual under agency inapplyan nya kahit helper sa funeral parlor

Pero sa tinagal tagal nakuha din sya factory worker sa manukan. Pisikalan nag trabaho at crazy working hours. Buti ngat nasaktuhan nag open ang quality dept same company, nag apply sya at natanggap 3 mos under agency under evaluation before na direct hire.
