If yung bachelors degree mo is walang kinalaman sa anzsco code 351311 then you cannot claim points for your degree.
As of the recent invites, 75points and above lang ang kinukuha.

Hindi related yung course ko kaso sayang naman yung 5 points. Cert iv lang naman ang qualification ng chef so makakatulong sana kung ma count yung points.
Ang taas pala ng quota. Kahit non pro rata 75 parin?

Yong points mo sa Bachelors degree-related or not is treated separately towards sa points test(talking here of DIBP POINTS TEST). Now don sa assessment, it will affect whether makakauha ka ng positive assessment or not depende sa work experience mo at further upskilling gaya ng Cert IV..Kung not related ang Bachelors Degree mo don sa nominated occupation mo na pinapaasses (Chef), the assessing body might require you certain number of years experience to be deemed skilled as Chef-which means ibabawas don sa number of years experience mo.( say 10 years na experience mo as Chef, then babawasn ka ng 3 yera, ibig sabihin-7 years lang pwede mo iclaim sa work experience). Nakaspecify naman ito when you get you skills assessment.

Has your husband applied for skills assessment yet? You’ll find that TRA does not directly conduct skills assessment for chefs anymore, been like this for over 5 years now. They actually commission other RTO’s to do it for them. VETASSESS is one of them. From our experience in handling cases as chefs, i find most clients of mine come to me advising me that they are chefs but when we further get on with our services, they are more suited as cook instead. Many have chefs as job title but when it comes to meeting the tasks set up in ANZSCO, they are more qualified as cooks so you also need to make sure of the right occupation for him.
Good luck!

That’s right, TRA would be the designated assessing authority for Chefs but as explained, they commission other RTO’s to conduct the assessments for them. These RTO’s follow the guidelines set up by TRA as the latter is still the official assessing authority.
