Hello po, question po. If mag edit lang ako nang employment info sa skill sellect pero walang changes sa points, ma change ba yung date of submitted nang EOI? EXAMPLE last Jan 2018 nag submit tapos today mag edit sa skill select. Salamat sa sasagot

Hi everyone, I need your opinion. Kasi mag-appeal ako sa ACS. Ok po ba itong mensahe ko?
1. Dalawa kasi pinasa ko na qualification, BS-IT at MCSD (AQF Diploma sana), ang problem yung BS-IT lang ang included sa assessment letter.
2. 4 years binawas sakin, so try ko silang i-conviced to changed it two years by providing the course description.

Here's my pending appeal message:

Dear sir/madam,

I would like to appeal with regards to the assessment result particularly for qualification and experience.

A. Qualification: I have submitted two episodes for my qualification, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer. The first one has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a Major in computing, how about the other one, my MCSD? why it is not included in the assessment letter? can you please kindly assess it and include in the letter as well. I'm aware that I can only claim points for the Bachelor Degree.

B. Experience: I believe that I should only be deducted two years instead of four years on my work experience because my qualification, Bachelor of Scienece in Information Technology was asessed as having an ICT major and have atleast 65% closely related to Software Engineer, my nominated occupation. The following are the course description of all the ICT-related units that I have taken, which I hope will give you more details aside from my Transcript of Records that I have uploaded before.

Hi everyone. Can someone please clarify if I am correct in understanding the following:

If I qualify as Diploma Advanced Diploma Associate Degree ICT Major, closely related to nominated occupation... and if I have a total of 14 years relevant work experience... most likely ACS will deduct 6 years off my experience and they will only count 8 years as "Skilled Employment", which then I qualify for 15 points?

Am I understanding this correctly or am i mistaken?

Hi all.

Questions about ACS Skills Assessment Application:

1. To whom do we address our COE? To Australia Migration department or to ACS? Can I have the complete Addressee Details?

2. Is anybody here the same situation as mine: BS-IT Graduate, applying for 261111 - ICT Business Analysts with only 5 years work experience and still the ACS deducted the minimum of 2 years?

3. It will take 10-12 weeks processing time according to Feb 2018 update from ACS, with this - pwede ba mag pa-assess for two ANZSCO codes ng sabay, para hindi sayang yung waiting time if ever? If yes, dalawang bayad rin po ba yun?

@carrotcake you can only claim work experience within the last 10 years. So if your qualification is equivalent to a AQF diploma, you'll be left with 4 years to claim.

1. yung address ng ACS you can check sa site nila
2. deduction of 2 years ay minimum na bawas nila if bachelor's degree and major in computing and assessment sayo pero kung diploma lang or minor mas malaki ang deduction.
3. pwede naman sabay mo ipa assess yung dalawang occupation pero dalawang bayad din yan.

hi po, pahelp naman po ako. balak ko po magpaasses sa ACS. section 3 lang po school ko. BS computer science po. 1.6 po grade ko. with 10 yrs programming experience po. ano po possible assesment sa akin. halos lahat po kasi nabasa ko sa forum karamihan section1 n 2. salamat po.

question po, yung SD po ba notarized dapat or certified true copy din?
na-notarize na kase yung Original Copy, pero wala pa pala akong xerox.

pede pa bang ixerox yung nakanotaryo na then pa CTC?

@raine2oz all docs na ipapasa mo sa ACS need to be CTC except sa CV.

Hi , I have 7 years and 5 months experience as a software engineer. Will ACS round off my experience from 7 years and 5 months to 8 years? or not?

@pmond unfortunately they won't do that. Be mindful that they will also deduct a few years to your experience depending on how they assess your qualification in accordance to the Australian equivalent.

@RheaMARN1171933 I see...my previous assessment has 2 years deduction. hmmm so if I have 7 years and 6 months of exp is that possible that they'll round it off to 8 years?

@pmond no they won't do that. kung may 7yrs and 6 months ka na relevant lahat yun magiging 5yrs and 6 months na lang ang ma cclaim mong working experience.

@pmond I think I've just replied to your question that they won't round it off that way. They will just give you a start date of your skilled work experience.

2. Which school po kayo galing at anong section po?
- Letran, Manila. Sections 2 (assessed as AQF Bachelor Degree naman siguro dahil 85%+ ung average grade ko)
3. Ilang years po ba ang working experience mo? 261313 ka po diba software engr?
- Yes software engineer (261313 ) din ko. Total of 8+ years na pero 4 years deducted sa akin ni ACS kaya nag-appeal ako kasi baka akala nila hindi 65% closely related course ko which is BS-IT. Hindi ko din sila masisi kasi yung mga major programming-related subjects sa TOR namin ang name is IT Elective 1 & 2, Free elective 1 & 2, hindi sya descriptive enough.

Hi, good day to everyone, my case is quite complicated.

I was employed in Singapore for 3 years between 2013-2016 working under a consulting agency but deployed to a client. I have the COE from the consulting company but without the job description/scope (I don't believe they are providing one with those included). My lead was a pinoy who was working under the CLIENT. My questions are:

1. Can I have him sign a statutory declaration enumerating my job scope and mentioning that he works under the consulting agency (even though he doesn't) so that the employer names will match that with my COE?
2. He lives in Singapore at the moment but of course has a Philippine address, is it better to reference his Ph address so that the notary can be done here and not in Singapore*?

Any other better alternatives or suggestions? Also, can anybody share a statutory template?

@jcsia87 your case isn't as complicated as it looks like. We've dealt with clients in similar situation as you are in. You need a detailed employment letter via stat Dec. I don't advice you pursue the idea stated on #1 as you are fabricating your evidence which could lead to a negative outcome.

Stat Dec from a work colleague ideally in supervisory level who you work with regardless whether you were employed by the same agency should suffice. Hope that helps. Best of luck!

Hi everyone,

2nd application ko na with ACS, may problem kasi dun sa una. Anyway, meron akong 7 entries for companies. Yung last entry ko which is my current job, nag eerror yung resume; hindi sya maview. So ang ginawa ko gumawa ako ng bagong entry, with same details but this time, properly uploaded na ang resume.

Has anybody experienced something like this before? Which entry kaya ang ico-consider nila? Nag email na ako pero wala pa rin silang reply.

My ACS assessment result came up yesterday. Unfortunately, its comparable to an AQF Advanced Diploma with a Major in computing. They deducted 5 Years of work experience.

Ano kaya pwede gawin to have it bachelor degree?

Here's my situation:
Age: 27
Education:
Graduated BS IT from a level 2 university. It's a 3 year course since it's a trimester basis.
I graduated with gpa more than 2.0 - graudated magna cum laude.
Work:
5 years 9 months as SAP ABAP Consultant dito sa Philippines.

Bale wala na ako makukuha points sa work experience pag ganun since nadeduct 5 years. Then sa education, nabawasan pa. With this, mukhang d na ako pasok sa point system nila.

Possible pa kaya na mapa review to to make it bachelor degree at 2 years lang mabawas sa work experience?

Sa mga tapos na mag ACS, ano yung sinasagot niyong date whenever they ask you for the "Date of Assessment" ?

a. Is this the date when your assessment was received by ACS?
b. Or is this the date when you received your assessment results?

@biz_go aww. almost same situation tayo pero hindi pa ako nag pa-assess.
Kinakabahan rin ako kasi 5yrs lang experience ko. Pero Level 1 daw yung school ko.

Kahit ba magna cum laude ka, di nila kayang 2 yrs lang ideduct? Hmm. Sana magmatter yun.
Baka pwede mo rin itry mag-"Appeal", although not sure how successful yung ganon and medyo mahal rin ata.

@biz_go usually, if qualification was gained from a section 2 university, and the average GPA is more than 85, the qualification will be assessed as equivalent to an Australian degree. If I were you, why don’t you ask first ACS the reason behind their decision on your qualification. It may be possible there was an oversight. There’ll be no harm done if you ask.

Tanong ko lang po kung ba ang naapprove na start date sa akin ay parang ganito

The following employment after April 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261312 (Developer Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code.

Pero yun result ko ng ACS ay last December 2017 pa. Pwede ko ba baguhin yun EOI ko to update na 8years na yung years of experience ko? Still working pa din ako sa current work ko.
