For the past week, may na-grant ng lodgements na nov5 then nov11 with january CO contact. Tapos oct19 lodgement ung latest na may CO contact this april. :-SS At this rate, mukhang earliest siguro na umabot ng december batch for 189 is by 2nd week of May pa. Hopefully mas mapaaga tapos lahat direct grant. Kapit lang!!!

So far puro 190 visa applications ang naggrant... mas mabilis pala talaga pag 190 than 189? I read something sa forum na higher priority ang 190 than 189; ibig sabihin po ba nun ipprocess muna ng mga CO yung 190 bago 189? And ano ang typical scenario or background ng mga nakakuha ng DG?

@athelene Hi, usually nagkakaroon ng backlogs dahil sa mga na co contact and other visa types na needed further assessment. I believe kahit christmas holidays eh may nagwowork parin na mga co kasi just like @Son-of-Abraham na grant sya Dec 28. Nag cleclear na sila ng backlogs kasi malapit na rin matapos ang fiscal year in about 3months.

190 visa application ko dec 6 pa. co contact march 8 tapos ika 28th day nung april 5. normal ba na wala ng mareceive kahit reply man lang sa inemail kong tanong sa immigration? Naka further assessment pa lang status nung application ko.

@athelene backlog as it is, is accumulation of uncompleted work. Dami rin kasi factors nagkakaroon ng backlogs ang immigration nila. Ex. Holidays, schedule maintenance, the applicant failed to provide complete documents (which need nila balikan later), Officer takes annual leave, officer (female) take maternity leave, etc etc. So parang naiipon itong mga “backlogs” of applications. Mga natambak or naipon na cases sa table nila na need nila i-clear kasi baka mag check si bossing nila at nakita na madami pa cases na pending sa “account” or under their responsibility so mayayari sila ni bossing hahha, kaya need rin nila time balikan ang mga ito. May deadline rin kasi yang mga officer na hinahabol, especially mga quota or ceiling ng immigrant counts for a specific fiscal year. Pero every now and then di rin lang naman backlogs ang inaasikaso nila, nagshishift rin sila sa mga ibang cases na recently lodge based on application date. So minimix-mix lang njla yung timing.

Napakahirap talaga mag antay ng grant eheh naranasan ko rin yan. Nakakainip nakakainis at nakakapraning. hehe pero worth it in the end.

@ObscureZero feedback ba ang style na ginawa mong pagtanong? kelan ka nag tanong sa kanila? usually 1 to 3 business days sila nagrereply. Depende rin if nataon sa holiday.

@OZingwithOZomeness Thank you for the detailed explanation! I know the feeling din when it comes to waiting for visa grant (although student visa). Nakakainip talaga pag wala ka masyado ginagawa, kaya mas mabuti na magpaka-busy muna para d masyado mainip hehe.

@athelene Oo parang pa-fall or paasa si department haha. Hunger games etc etc kung ano pwede iexplain sa pangyayari. Sobrang nakakainip di na lang sagotin ng matamis na “Oo” para match made in heaven na agad hahhaha. Datating rin yan in God’s time.

Ang pinakacause talaga ng backlog sa PR189 ay yung NZ stream na 189. Minerge na kasi yung dalawa that explains the 300 invites per round. Worse, priority processing exempt pa siya. =(

@jengmhyumi May case na kaya na kahit di nakapagprovide ng hinihinging documents e approved pa rin? Kasi ung hinihingi sakin e 10 months lang naman. Naprovide ko naman ung sa 3 yrs.

@ObscureZero nagbigay ka ba ng reason bakit hindi mo sya ma proprovide? like affidavit para at least meron kang nabigay na proof na ni try mo syang ibigay pero wala ka talgang mabigay na hinihinging additional docs.

@Hunter_08 Nag email ako sa mismong email nung case officer. Sinabi ko lang na di ako makapagbigay kasi nalost track ko mga docs ko tapos request ako if pwede bang don lang siya magbase sa 3 yrs ko kaso wala pa email e. more than 28 days na since nung nanghingi ng proof.
