@krishnaz if average grade is 2.00-3.00 for 4 years full time study, Associate Degree ang assessment. If 5 Years ang course at full time with 200+ units, matic bachelors degree. refer sa attached.

Thanks @Heprex , since i took BS Accountancy from yr 2003-2008 with 239 credits, consider as Bachelors Degree na po ba?

Next question ko po eh, kung Bachelors Degree na po yan, need ko pa po ba magpa-assess? or ung supporting document ko will suffice like TOR, diploma and Certificate that I have GWA of 2.39?

depende din po sa napili nyong nominated occupation kung ano yung magiging assessing authority nyo. Iba iba po yan.

@callmeskyler Makakakuha ka pa din po ng points based sa ACS assessment, dalawa po kasi ang inaassess dun:
1. education - if BACHELOR DEGREE result mo, you can claim 15 points, if DIPLOMA result mo, you can claim 10 points.
2. experience - based on your result dahil after Dec 2016 lang ang na credit 0 points makukuha mo.

To summarize your points:
Age: 30
PTE: 20
EDUCATION: 15 (lets say Bachelor Degree result mo)
EXPERIENCE: 0

so you can claim 65 points in total. Kung gusto mong madagdagan pa points mo apply visa 190 additional 5 points un. So you have 70 points. Don't get discouraged and good luck po

@agd Hello sir, I am just referring to qualification assessment po. tapos na po ako sa skills assessment unfortunately hindi po kasama sa assessment ang qualification.

Gusto ko po sana malaman if pwede ba ako magclaim ng Bachelors Degree if i took the BS Accountancy for five years from 2003-2008, 239 credita and 2.39 GWA without going through an assessment sa vetassess? (by the way I am section 2 school) thank you

tanung lang po. Pag nagpa asssess sa ACS, maghahanap ba sila ng payslip, SSS or ITR? yung 1st job ko is 10 years ago na eh at wla na ako kopya sa payslip/SSS or ITR.

@atonibay not really. The employment letters are the most important one. they will only consider your employment within the last 10 years, FYI

Hi po. May question lang sana ako regarding sa case ko and kung meron bang similar case? graduate ako ng information systems sa ust, 4 yrs program. Will this qualify as bachelor’s degree and if ever, 2yrs lang din ba ang mababawas na work experience? Thank you in advance!

yung within the last 10 years ba na experience is starting from your graduation? Either related or not related basta within sa 10 years lang ang basihan ng ACS? What if more than 10 years ang experience since after graduation tapos meron deduction na 2-4 years sa experience ko. Makakakuha kaya ako ng malaking points? Nasa section po ang school ko.

@atonibay they will consider the last 10 years from the date you apply. Within that 10 years, they will deduct the year's. So if they assess your degree as equivalent to AQF degree and it is related to your occupation, they will deduct 2 years. So in short, the maximum years one can claim is 8 years. Hope that helps

yung sa from the date you apply, meaning po ba na yung application sa ACS assessment po ba cya? maraming salamat po.

I'm 25 years old. I've been working since May 2013.

May 2013 - November 2014 - First Job Experience
November 2014 - March 2017 - Second Job Experience
August 2017 - Till Present - Third Job Experience

I took up BS Information Technology

Di ko po masyado gets pa yung sa ACS eh pero as far as I understood, minus two years of work experience po ako ano if papasa ako sa Bachelors ng ACS? Tama ba?

@deaddisco yes the minimum deduction from ACS is 2years kung na assessed ka as bachelor's degree but if diploma 5yrs deduction yun.

@Heprex - sir i want to ask your expertise kase same po ako sa inyo ng skill na gustong pa-assess which is Computer Network and Systems Engineer. Sir as we know, mejo malawak po ito. Does it mean ung description po which is:

For example po, for 2 yrs sa isang company I was a NOC, not necessarily nagtotroubleshoot po but indi ko po ginagawa ung iabng duties na nabanggit. Salamat sir.

Hello po! need po sana namin ng husband ko ng help regarding ACS assessment result. Last year pa po namin nareceive ang assessment pero medyo naging busy kaya di naasikaso. Eto po ang result:

Your Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from ***** completed March
2006 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Associate Degree with a major in computing.

The following employment after April 2012 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261313 (Software Engineer) of the ANZSCO Code.

Question # 1: ano po ang equivalent points ng AQF Associate Degree? Bachelor Degree 15 points or Diploma 10 points?

Question # 2: March 31, 2017 namin nareceive ang assessment letter from ACS. Pwede na po ba kaming makaclaim ng 5 yrs work experience?

@nancy201888 hello, not totally exact kung ano description nila. But has to be at least close, kung hindi man Network, gawin mong system, like,

assessing and recommending improvements to 'system;
researching, analyzing, evaluating and monitoring 'system' infra

etc. halos system engr kase most ng description ko. pero lahat ng R&R ko, galing tlga sa company.
