For Listening, madali lang to. Just focus sa WFD. Make sure u get eveything.

Reading - Tip ko lang read kayo halos everyday ng articles and if may word kayo na ndi alam, search nyo agad meaning para mawiden vocabulary

Speaking - just use sir heprex’ template

Writing - sa third take lang ako gumamit ng template and I used E2 Language. Also I have a compilation ng mga lumalabas na questions sa essay for this year. Sa first 2 takes ko 71 and 77 ako.. so important talaga practice. Try to write kahit once a week and use a template to save time

Question @Kaye28 @batman @Supersaiyan : Took my PTE twice, 1st take 90 spelling, 2nd take 18 spelling. Member din ako ng E2 page on FB, so I get to see updates there too. I noticed recently, spelling of most test takers are below 20’s. Which is really frustrating. Clearly, you would know if how many items lang na misspell mo, right? In my case, 1st take I’m sure I misspelled 2-3 items, 2nd take I had no misspelled words. I’m that confident that’s why I’m so shocked when I saw the results. And to think perfect score 1st take. What possibly happened there?

They say rescoring is not an option.
In those PTE tests, I just had 56-58 SPEAKING. Based on OF and pronunciation scores of 50’s and 40’s respectively, it would prove why I got low scores on speaking. But I need help guys! Any suggestion on speaking section? I’m planning to take my 3rd on June. My scores on other subtests are not superior but ranging 70’s naman. Grammar 82, vocab 90, written discourse 70.

Hi @shyf consistent din po akong mababa sa pronunciation scores (45 and 69) pero mataas sa oral fluency. i suggest be confident while speaking, don't hesitate and avoid fillers. kasi kahit mababa ako sa pronunciation, i was able to get 90 in speaking. practice shadowing din sa mga youtube videos to improve on repeat sentences.

i also have a similar experience with you regarding spelling. super simple words na lang nagamit ko sa essays ko dahil mahirap nga yung topic and yet ang baba ng spelling ko. i'm speculating may kinalaman din sa content yung spelling, but i may be wrong.

@Heprex thank you also, umakyat yung vocab and grammar ko on my second take because of your retell lecture and describe image templates. But my speaking score did not improve. Any tips?

Di ko din actually natatapos yung template na sabihin on the actual exam kasi time constraint, lagging sa pag-iisip on what to say next. Enabling skills did improve except for of and pronunciation tho.

Thanks to this page, I’m able to get better tips to somehow improve. I’m just hoping on my next take, I’d pass na.

My friend btw (whom I can punch anytime), had 88-90 scores on SWRL. He did not review much, because he just had 2 days off prior to exam date. While I was the one who took a week off pero sablay pa din.

( After exam, mas frustrated pa sya sakin which I understand kasi di sya prepared. Pero when the results are out, voila! Superior scores pa sya. Maybe smart lang talaga sya, kasi sa ielts nkaka 7 din sya in writing even without review, not to mention 8-8.5 on other subtests. Di ko muna sya friend ngyon til I heal myself. Joke! Hehe

@shyf yup recently na experience ko yang mababang spelling na yan. May spelling ako na 18 lang pero 70+ and up yung scores ko lahat sa comm skills. Siguro may adjustments silang ginawa sa scoring ng spelling. I’m thinking na kpag out of context yung words and idea na ginamit mo sa writing tasks mukang may impact sa spelling scores but not so sure.

Regarding sa speaking, may recorded speaking ako na naka score ng 89 nung nag mock exam ako. It covers all my speaking tasks from start (Read aloud) to end (Answer short question) kaya 12:39 minutes yun and usually di ko bini bida ito sa iba ksi nahihiya ako ksi mababa pronunciation ko but I managed to get 89 sa OF at 89 sa Speaking. Sinabi ko ngayon because just want to help and encourage you. Pm mo lng po ako and bigay ko po link ng recording ko sayo if you need. God bless po and trust Him always.
